Isha lies to the inspector, saying it was her mistake and not the car driver’s, as she was walking on the wrong side of the road. Savi tells her to stop lying and asks her to tell the truth. The inspector warns Savi not to pressure Isha and takes Isha’s statement with her signature. Savi questions why Isha is protecting Jigar. Isha avoids answering and asks Savi to bring her medicines. Savi starts wondering why Isha suddenly changed her statement and thinks Rajat would be upset if he finds out. She notices Bhagyashree’s asthma inhaler in Isha’s room and asks Isha if Bhagyashree made her change her statement. Isha denies it. Savi asks then why Bhagyashree’s inhaler is there and why she is saving Jigar because of Bhagyashree.
Isha says she did it because she is also a mother like Bhagyashree and remembers how Bhagyashree begged her to forgive Jigar for Tara and Shakti’s sake. Savi informs Rajat about everything. Rajat gets angry and confronts both Bhagyashree and Isha for trying to protect Jigar. Bhagyashree says they had to do it for the children’s sake. Rajat questions why they should spare Jigar when he didn’t care about the kids before. He reminds them that every criminal is someone’s family member. Isha says she understands Bhagyashree’s feelings and believes they shouldn’t punish Jigar since nothing serious happened to her. Rajat asks if they are supposed to wait for a bigger tragedy before acting.
Isha explains that as a teacher, she has seen people change after committing crimes. Rajat argues that Jigar won’t change since he already took Arsh’s help after jail. He says they must decide whether to punish Jigar or let him roam free. Bhagyashree agrees with Rajat and says that for Tara and Shakti’s future, Jigar must be punished. She asks Isha to tell the police the truth. Isha then tells Rajat to call the inspector so she can give a corrected statement.
Meanwhile, Ashika waits for Rajat and wonders how he could forget today’s important date. Arsh comes to her and invites her to a party where Rajat and Savi will also be present. Rajat arrives. Ashika feels hopeful seeing him. Rajat calls the inspector and demands Jigar’s arrest for causing Isha’s accident. Jigar denies it. The inspector says they have proof that Jigar hit Isha with a black SUV. Jigar says he doesn’t even own a car. Rajat says that’s because Jigar was using Arsh’s car. Arsh says maybe it was his car, but Jigar was not the one driving. He shows a sale deed proving he sold the black SUV one day before the accident.
Rajat calls it a lie and says they are both fooling everyone. He accuses Jigar of attacking him earlier and says Arsh will do anything to harm his family. The inspector says that based on the new evidence, they can’t arrest Jigar yet and tells Arsh and Jigar not to leave Mumbai until the case is solved. Arsh agrees and pretends to care about Isha. Jigar asks Rajat if he’s still not satisfied. Rajat gives him a scolding. Ashika feels upset, thinking Rajat forgot such an important date and is busy helping Savi’s family instead.
Rajat comes home frustrated and tells Savi everything that happened. He keeps getting calls from Umesh. Savi says Umesh’s wife also invited them to a party and suggests Rajat should attend. Rajat says Savi should come too as his wife and tells her to visit a salon and get ready.

Ashika complains to Rajat that he always insults her. Rajat asks her not to repeat it, reminding her that she is the mother of his children and explains how much she means to him because of their kids. He thanks her for reminding him about today’s importance. Savi feels hurt hearing all this while standing at a distance.
