The episode begins with Shrishti having a conversation with Vinayak. She acts kindly and tells him to invite his family and friends to celebrate. Vinayak says that his office colleagues might find it odd if he starts celebrating. Shrishti shows sympathy toward Urvashi and Jhanak. Vinayak doesn’t want to talk about it. Shrishti insists that others are already talking, and she didn’t know Guru Ji had a twin brother with a daughter who looks like Jhanak. Vinayak says he doesn’t want to hear about it. She says she’s only chatting casually. Vinayak agrees to celebrate their anniversary. Shrishti wonders if he still suspects her and feels distant. Vinayak silently thinks that although he loved her, he won’t forgive her mistakes and will leave if he must.
Just then, Arshi arrives and greets them. She asks Vinayak about a surprise. He replies that it’s a helpful surprise but won’t reveal more. Shrishti grows more suspicious of his behavior. Suddenly, Brij and Nutan arrive, shocking both Shrishti and Arshi.
Shrishti welcomes them politely. Nutan greets them and tries to take blessings. Brij says his daughter respects elders and that he had to come for an important reason. Shrishti asks how she can help. Brij says he’s new in the city and wants help securing his daughter’s future. Though he’s getting older, he wants her to succeed and needs Shrishti’s support. Jhanak thinks how she hates Shrishti but still hopes she’ll treat her like a mother. She notes it’s all part of a plan. Arshi offers Nutan a seat, but she declines. Vinayak insists, and she finally sits.
Brij mentions his daughter has enrolled in the dance academy. Shrishti says she already knows since she’s the chairperson, and Brij shouldn’t have come like this. She says it looks like he’s trying to influence her decision. Brij denies it, saying he came for more than just a favor—after all, they’re both from the dance field, like family. Arshi is confused, and Shrishti asks how they’re related. Brij explains that their shared background in dance makes them close in a way, and then he asks about Shrishti’s daughters.
Vinayak replies that they have only one daughter. Brij again asks Shrishti, and she confirms it. She also says she can’t help his daughter. Brij insists that he never does anything wrong. Vinayak says Brij never told them he had a twin brother. Brij explains his brother was scared he’d take away his fame, which is why he never mentioned him. Vinayak asks where he was all these years. Brij says he became a saint. Arshi asks why he’s back to normal life and what happened to his daughter all this time. Brij replies that she stayed with him and now he wants her talent to be seen by the world. Arshi asks if his wife was also a dancer. Brij confirms but keeps her identity a secret, saying she doesn’t live with him anymore. Shrishti stops Arshi from questioning further.
Shrishti then asks what help he needs. Brij says he wants a lot and is testing how much she can give. He wants her to teach his daughter and treat her as her own student. Shrishti is surprised. Brij says since she is an artist, it’s her duty. She replies that she doesn’t offer personal dance training. Vinayak questions her reason, saying she takes classes, so she can teach Nutan. Shrishti says Brij himself can teach her. Brij says that means she accepts he is a good teacher. Shrishti says she doesn’t know, as she hasn’t seen him dance.
Arshi asks if Nutan only does Kathak. Jhanak replies that she can dance in all styles, including contemporary. Vinayak praises her. Brij says he’s confident she’ll do well. Shrishti says Arshi is also a good dancer but she doesn’t judge her either. Brij says it would be nice if Nutan and Arshi become friends. Shrishti says Nutan must pass a test to become her student. Brij agrees and says if she fails, she won’t learn from her. Shrishti nods.
Brij says Nutan will visit again. He says he feels like he has already met Shrishti before, and they were once connected in the dance world. Arshi asks how that’s possible. Brij again insists Shrishti should teach Nutan. She asks what the need is. He explains that dance has changed, and city audiences want variety, which he doesn’t understand, but she does. Shrishti says Nutan will have to wait until next year’s batch. Brij says he doesn’t have that much time—he’s aging and needs to find a groom for his daughter. Jhanak says she can give the test right away. Shrishti says she’s busy.
Vinayak reminds them it’s their 25th anniversary. Brij says he hopes to be invited. Arshi assures him they’ll call him. Shrishti stops her. Brij says he doesn’t believe he’ll be invited. Vinayak says he must attend. Shrishti insists they’ve invited only close people and that this is her first time meeting Brij. Brij acts surprised. Shrishti internally thinks she must keep her distance from him or else he will start controlling everything.
