Ganesh gets furious when he confronts Aman and asks if he is Raghav Singh Rajput’s son. Aman stays quiet at first, but Ganesh keeps pressing him for the truth. Finally, Aman admits that Raghav is his father. Ganesh turns to Sapna and says he had suspected this all along. Aman tries to explain, but Ganesh doesn’t let him speak. He feels betrayed and even slaps Aman. Anjali steps in, begging Ganesh to calm down. Sapna reminds Ganesh that Aman is now their son-in-law, and hitting him isn’t right. Meanwhile, Anjali quietly thinks to herself that the truth is, she and Aman are not actually married.
Ganesh gets a phone call from Nandini, who tells him she wants Anjali to come to their home. She says she didn’t know Anjali was the girl Aman loved, and admits they were wrong. Nandini promises to welcome Anjali herself and do the proper bridal ceremony. Ganesh tells her to speak with Sapna, who then agrees to the idea but only on one condition — Raghav and Nandini must come to their home to invite Anjali and perform the farewell ritual. Nandini becomes annoyed by this demand, but Bhajan reminds her that once Anjali is at their house, they won’t let her go to court, and they can later give her to Chandrabhan to eliminate her.
Anjali gets a call from Abhay, who suspects that her marriage to Aman isn’t real. He says her actions are raising doubts and warns her that he will keep an eye on her. He also invites her to come to their house as their daughter-in-law. Anjali gets emotional thinking about the past and quietly removes her jewelry. Aman sees her and enters the room, saying he has come to sleep on the bed. Anjali reminds him that they are not truly married and tells him not to take advantage. Aman jokes that he will still sleep on the bed. When she gets angry, he teases that she is scared of falling in love with him. Their playful argument ends when Sapna walks in and tells Aman that he can’t stay in Anjali’s room until after the wedding rituals. She sends him to Ganesh’s room instead.
Later, Anjali receives a shocking call from Kavya, who introduces herself as Aman’s wife. Anjali firmly tells her that she is not legally married to Aman. Kavya insists that she considers herself his real wife and threatens that Chandrabhan will kidnap Anjali within 72 hours. Anjali confidently replies that they are welcome to try. Chandrabhan overhears this and assures Kavya that he will take Aman back to her and deal with Anjali. Meanwhile, Rati informs him that Raghav and Nandini plan to visit the slum to invite Anjali formally. Raghav gets angry at the idea, but Bhajan convinces him by explaining how it will help their plans. Though Raghav agrees, he worries about what Chandrabhan will say, but Bhajan and Vaibhav promise to handle him.
