Rakhi visits Kavya to tell her that her mother has come back. After praying to Mata Rani, she leaves. Kavya quietly walks over to the bed and hugs Karan tightly. Karan hugs her back and comforts her. He asks why she is crying now that her mother has returned and everything is finally complete. Kavya says she used to think seeing her mother again was just a dream, but her father made it come true by bringing her back. She smiles and says their family is now complete. Karan happily tells her to go meet her mother.

Kavya sits beside Preeta, who is still unconscious, and holds her hand emotionally. She remembers moments from her childhood—talking and playing with her mother. She softly tells Karan that her mother is so beautiful. Karan agrees, saying Preeta has always been beautiful. Kavya says it’s all because of him that her mom is back, and she always believed only he could do it. She removes her hand from Preeta’s and thanks Karan for fulfilling her dream. Karan appreciates her trust and asks her to help Rakhi with her birthday preparations. He promises to bring Preeta downstairs once she wakes up so they can celebrate together. Kavya kisses Preeta on the forehead and hugs her father before slowly leaving the room. She keeps looking back at her mother until she finally exits.
Karan stays behind, smiling, then secretly calls the doctor. He tells him to use the back door instead of the front gate because he doesn’t want anyone to know the doctor came. Karan says he doesn’t want to worry the family and has no answers to their questions. He swears to find whoever hurt Preeta and make sure they don’t get away with it. Karan is visibly angry and determined.
At the hospital, Nidhi arrives and meets Rocky. He points her toward the hallway but stops when he sees Rajveer. Rocky explains Rajveer saved Nidhi before and might recognize them. Nidhi says she won’t leave until her task is done and plans to disguise herself as a doctor. Rocky warns her that she had already tried to kill Preeta in that outfit before and it could bring bad luck. He suggests she leave and promises to handle it and call her after it’s done.
Meanwhile, Rajveer stands outside Shrishti’s room. Mohit tells him to relax since the doctor said she’ll recover in 24 hours. Rajveer is very worried, and Mohit hugs him. Rocky arrives and questions why they’re there in a restricted area. Rajveer pleads to let them stay, but Rocky insists they must leave or he’ll call security. Mohit convinces Rajveer to go. Once they’re gone, Rocky calls Nidhi and tells her the path is clear—Shrishti is in room five. Nidhi starts walking toward it but turns around when she sees Rajveer and Mohit nearby. Rajveer grows suspicious, feeling like he saw someone familiar.
Nidhi finds Rocky again, who confirms he cleared the way for her. Nidhi enters Shrishti’s room, removes her veil, and says she never truly wanted to kill Shrishti but now has no choice. She admits she also wants Preeta dead. Nidhi takes out lighter fluid from her bag, saying death usually doesn’t happen in a hospital, but it will today. She pours the fluid around, declaring Shrishti’s countdown has started.
Elsewhere, Karan sits beside Preeta, holding her hand and explaining the doctor said she’s completely fine and should wake up soon. He emotionally tells her how much her return means to him. He says his life felt empty, but she filled it like the missing drop in an ocean. He thanks God for bringing her back. As he speaks, Preeta slowly starts to regain consciousness. Karan is happy and tells her to rest, promising to return soon after helping prepare for her birthday. He leaves the room excitedly.
Preeta, still weak, remembers Shrishti’s kidnapping and is shocked. She realizes she’s in the Luthra Mansion and wonders where Shrishti is. She uses the landline to call Rajveer. He doesn’t recognize the number but answers. Preeta urgently asks about Shrishti, and Rajveer says they found her and she’s in City Hospital. Preeta says she’s coming immediately and leaves the mansion. Rajveer tells Mohit that his mother is on the way.
Back in the hospital room, Nidhi tells the unconscious Shrishti she must die and removes her oxygen mask. Shrishti starts gasping, but Nidhi isn’t worried. She tries to wake Shrishti by slapping her, yelling at her to respond. She taunts her, saying even her sister Preeta won’t be spared. Shrishti suddenly gains a little strength and warns Nidhi she won’t let her touch her sister. She throws things at Nidhi and even tries to fight with a pillow. Nidhi overpowers her and presses the pillow over her face. During the struggle, Shrishti removes a gold bangle from Nidhi’s hand but eventually falls unconscious. Nidhi checks and assumes Shrishti is dead. She adjusts Shrishti’s feet and says she’ll now burn the body to hide the crime.
Nidhi lights a fire on the quilt, locks the room from outside, and walks away calmly. Inside, Shrishti is unconscious but still breathing as the flames begin to spread around her.
At night, Shristhi’s bed suddenly catches fire. She wakes up and sees the flames, tries to move but screams in pain. The nurses hear her cries and rush toward her room, shocked by what they see. Meanwhile, Nidhi walks away with a smile on her face. Preeta, who is walking through the hospital, feels uneasy about her sister and asks for her room number. As she heads toward it, she sees Nidhi outside the hospital entrance giving money to a nurse. However, Preeta quickly moves on, worried about Shristhi’s condition.
Inside, the doctor instructs the ward boy to cut off the electricity and call the fire brigade. Preeta comes running and asks if it’s her sister’s room. Nidhi hears her voice and is startled. At the same time, Rajveer and Mohit rush over after hearing Preeta shout. Nidhi, smiling to herself, wonders why Preeta’s voice still affects her when today’s goal was to harm her. She also hears Rajveer scream and is confused by it.
Rajveer and Mohit try to break into the room. Nidhi watches them and thinks that she has succeeded in making Preeta suffer. She wanted to see Preeta in pain before ending her, and now she’s getting that chance. The guards help break open the door, and Rajveer tries to reach Shristhi, but the ward boys stop him and quickly use a fire extinguisher to put out the flames on Shristhi. They bring a stretcher and shift her to another room. Preeta, Rajveer, and Mohit are in complete shock. Preeta sees a bracelet on Shristhi’s hand—the same one she had seen with Nidhi before—and recalls stopping Nidhi at the police station. Preeta starts following Shristhi in a hurry.
Meanwhile, at the Luthra house, Kavya brings out a cake. Mahesh is happy to see all the arrangements. Karan also comes downstairs, and Mahesh asks where Preeta is. Karan lies and says she’s resting. Rakhi says she thought there would be a welcome dance for Preeta. Bani Dadi agrees excitedly, saying she’s always ready to dance. Varun also says he is a good dancer. Bani Dadi sits down in pain but says everything will be okay now that Preeta is back. When Mahesh asks about Rishabh, Karan replies that he went to pick up Shaurya. Karan says Shaurya never got motherly love, but now he will because Preeta has returned. Rakhi agrees and says only Karan could bring her back. Mahesh tells him to bring Preeta downstairs. But when Karan goes to check on her, she’s not there—not even in the washroom. He panics, thinking she’s left him again. Then suddenly, Karan realizes he was dreaming. He sees everyone happy and decides not to ruin the moment by telling them that Preeta is missing. Rakhi asks where Preeta is. Karan lies, saying the doctor said she needed to rest. Everyone accepts it for now.
Back at the hospital, Preeta, Rajveer, and Mohit take Shristhi to another room. The doctor asks Preeta to stay calm. But Preeta gets emotional and blames the hospital staff for being so careless. She holds the doctor’s hand and begs her to save Shristhi, saying her sister means everything to her. The doctor tells her they must take Shristhi inside for treatment. Nidhi wonders how Preeta came there—did Karan bring her? She decides to go back to the Luthra house and act like the perfect daughter-in-law. The doctor tells the others to take care of Preeta. Preeta sits down, overwhelmed, and tells Rajveer she feels helpless. Nidhi records everything with a smile, enjoying Preeta’s pain. Rajveer assures her that the doctors are doing their best. But Preeta blames herself for leaving Shristhi alone and regrets coming to Mumbai. Nidhi says this is just the beginning—the real pain is yet to come.
At the Luthra mansion, Karan runs down and says he can’t find Preeta anywhere. Rakhi becomes upset, saying none of them saw her leave. Mahesh says she was unconscious when he brought her and wonders where she went. Kavya becomes emotional. Bani Dadi scolds Karan, blaming him for always fighting with Preeta. Mahesh and Karina also scold him. Suddenly, Karan realizes again that this is a dream. He doesn’t want to spoil the family’s happiness. Rakhi asks why he came downstairs alone. He lies again, saying the doctor said Preeta needed rest due to suffocation, so no one should disturb her. Bani Dadi questions the timing since Diwali is tomorrow, but Karan reassures everyone that she will be fine after resting.
Back in the hospital, Preeta, Rajveer, Mohit, and Gurpreet anxiously wait outside. Preeta is extremely worried and asks the nurse if Shristhi will be okay. The nurse explains that Shristhi has been severely burned—almost ninety percent—and they’ve moved her to the burns unit. Gurpreet tries to console Preeta, but Preeta says it can’t be true because Shristhi always screamed even for small injuries. Now she’s burned this badly. Gurpreet tells her to calm down and believe in Mata Rani. Rajveer says he doesn’t know what to think—Shristhi is fighting for her life, and his mother is emotionally broken. Gurpreet encourages him to stay strong for both. Rajveer blames himself, saying he pushed them to come to this city and now something horrible has happened. He questions who would do such a thing to Shristhi. Mohit also wonders whether the fire was an accident or if someone did it on purpose.
Preeta runs to the temple inside the hospital, praying hard. She tells Mata Rani that she has always done everything faithfully and begs her not to let Shristhi die. She says if her sister doesn’t survive, she’ll end her own life right there in front of the goddess. She starts chanting prayers and rings the bell, crying as she does so. Gurpreet arrives and sees Preeta burning her hand over the Diya. She tries to stop her, but Preeta refuses, saying today her life belongs to the goddess. She vows to either get Shristhi back or lose her own life. Gurpreet is shocked and rushes to call Rajveer.
Gurpreet reaches Rajveer and tells him Preeta is burning her hand in the temple. He runs to stop her and sees she is bleeding and already has a burnt hand. Rajveer begs her to stop. Preeta, heartbroken, asks the goddess why she caused so much pain to Shristhi, who always prayed to her. She cries and pleads with the goddess to save her sister. Gurpreet tells Rajveer that only the goddess can save Shristhi—but only he can save Preeta now. She wonders how such tragedy fell on them, saying it should’ve been her instead. Just then, the doctor arrives and gives them heartbreaking news—Shristhi has gone into a coma. Everyone is left in shock.
