The episode begins with Prem telling Rahi to come with him and says he wasn’t thinking about her. Rahi sits in the jeep and tells him to drive. He says let’s go. Just then, Mahi shows up and asks them to stop. She says she wants to come with them. Prem says they’re going to the market to buy items, so they’ll leave. Mahi insists, saying she also has shopping to do. But both Prem and Rahi say no. Prem adds that they need space to carry everything. Rahi jokes that there’s no time for Mahi’s bindi and bangles. They drive off.

Later, Anupama pins a brooch to Rahi’s kurti, saying Rahi would get angry if she found out. Baa walks in and says Anupama is trying to help her quietly. Baa says even though Anupama made Rahi a half-owner, Rahi is still not happy. She says even if Anupama gives her life for Rahi, Rahi will say she died only once, and would have died twice if she were her real daughter. Baa advises her to send Rahi to Dwarka, write her letters, and invite her for festivals. She says the household is upset because of the tension. Anupama says Toshu is happy with Rahi, but Baa isn’t convinced. Anupama asks her to give Vanraj’s clothes for donation. Baa refuses and offers her sarees instead. Anupama replies she doesn’t want clothes and says she was only responding. She tells Baa that if her daughter left her, then Baa’s son also left her. Anupama insists Rahi won’t go anywhere and one day they’ll all understand her. While stitching, Anupama pricks her finger. Baa warns her that Rahi will hurt her one day too.
At the market, Prem and Rahi buy things for Anupama’s kitchen. Rahi balances a box on her head and says men aren’t the only ones who can do work. Prem looks at her and falls for her more. Rahi tells Prem she wants to talk. She says she knows he studied hotel management and could help her. She wants to grow Anu Ki Rasoi because many women depend on it. Despite her issues with Anupama, she wants to make it successful. Prem advises her to take Anupama’s blessings. Rahi asks if he’s with her. Prem agrees, but warns her not to go against Anupama or the company’s rules. Rahi laughs, saying he supports her but with terms and conditions.
On their way back, Prem and Rahi bump heads. Rahi tells him to stop the jeep and bumps her head against his again, saying Bubbly believes it prevents bad luck. Prem jokes that she already has invisible horns. She tells him to be quiet. As they ride, Prem keeps thinking about her. A song plays in the background.
Mahi tells Anupama that she loves Prem. Anupama is surprised and scolds her for sitting around in the middle of a dengue outbreak. Mahi hugs her and says she’ll always stand by her. Anupama asks if she doesn’t plan to get married. Mahi jokes that when she does, she’ll take Anupama with her. Anupama laughs and says her husband will complain if his mother-in-law comes too. Mahi says she’ll find someone who wants to bring Anupama too. Anupama is curious and asks again, but Mahi walks away. Anupama receives a phone call.
Rahi and Prem arrive home. Toshu introduces Kalpesh Bhai to Rahi and says he sells goods at cheaper prices. Kalpesh compliments Rahi and says he doesn’t understand why Anupama pays extra to buy from Parag Ji. He says there’s no use in business if there’s no profit. Toshu adds that he was explaining the same thing to Rahi. Kalpesh says they should buy from him to cut costs. Rahi tells him to leave. Kalpesh insists she at least check the goods. He calls Anupama mad for her choices. Rahi loses her temper and warns him not to insult her mother. Everyone is shocked by her outburst. Anupama becomes emotional.
Toshu is surprised and says Rahi always scolds Anupama. Rahi replies that doesn’t mean anyone else has the right to insult her. She asks who this man is to speak like that about her mother. She demands he leave with his products. Prem accuses Kalpesh of mixing colors in spices. Rahi threatens to file a complaint. Kalpesh leaves. Toshu asks if she’s lost her mind. Rahi replies that Toshu should have spoken up himself. Toshu says Kalpesh was only telling the truth. Rahi disagrees and says Kalpesh wasn’t the right person. Toshu argues that they’re after profit. Rahi says profit shouldn’t come at the cost of dignity. Anupama proudly says her daughter is amazing.
Rahi talks about improving promotions and the menu. She says she’ll do what Anupama couldn’t but without breaking the rules. She doesn’t want to risk anyone’s health for money. Anupama gets emotional with joy. Mahi looks disappointed. Prem tells Anupama that Rahi is like a wildfire. Anupama says kids may dislike their mother, but there’s always a corner in their hearts for her. She says she feels hopeful now. Mahi looks sad.
Rahi thinks about what Kalpesh said and wonders why she reacted so strongly. Anupama feels good that her daughter defended her and even called her “Maa” in front of everyone. She holds a thread in her hand and says Rahi has taken the first step toward her.
Toshu comes to Rahi and apologizes. He says he was wrong. Rahi says she understands his wish to grow the business, but not by reducing quality. She suggests they focus on better ways. Toshu agrees and says he has ideas and will share them. Rahi asks why he hasn’t shared them earlier. Toshu says Anupama never supported them and didn’t want risks. After leaving, Toshu thinks he’ll cut Rahi’s ties soon.
Ansh sits with Rahi. She asks him to help with digital marketing and says she wants to understand how caterers promote themselves. Ansh shows her the information, and she takes notes. Mahi sees this and wonders why she feels uncomfortable when Rahi is doing something good.
Meanwhile, Anupama happily dances while cooking. Prem joins in and dances with her. She imagines dancing with Rahi but sees Prem instead. Suddenly, Janki Behen arrives and informs them that Shrishti had an accident and is in serious condition. Prem says Shrishti has a young daughter. He and Anupama rush out.
Later, Anupama and Prem bring Shrishti’s daughter Radha home. Prem tells Anupama to rest since she donated blood. Anupama tells the girl to stay with Prem while she rests. Prem leaves to get chocolate. Rahi sees the girl and tells her to smile, saying God listens to kids. The girl smiles and prays for her mom. Rahi gives her an apple and plays with her, lifting her mood.
UPCOMING
Mahi says there’s a big wedding order, so she submitted the tender form. Rahi gets angry and says Anu Ki Rasoi is hers, so why did Mahi do that? Anupama suggests they both work together. But Rahi refuses and challenges Anupama to cook separately. Anupama accepts the challenge. Rahi says if she wins, she’ll gain more control in the company. Anupama shakes hands with her.
