Anjali gathers the courage to call Ginni and tells her the harsh truth—they don’t even have money for Ganesh’s treatment or to buy food. Instead of sympathy, Ginni mocks her. With a cruel smile, she offers to get Anjali a clerk’s job at Raghav’s law firm and taunts her for being a failed advocate just like her father. Anjali, unable to bear the insult, disconnects the call.
Seeing her daughter’s pain, Sapna suggests going to Raghav’s house and asking for help. But Anjali stops her firmly. Just then, Padma quietly says she should leave—she believes she’s the reason behind all the chaos in the house. But Anjali doesn’t let her go. “You’ll stay here and eat with us,” she insists. Padma softly responds, “There’s no food.”
At that very moment, Aman walks in like a ray of hope. It’s Dhanteras, and he’s brought burgers, pizzas, pastries, and cold drinks. With a warm smile, he tells them to eat—he hasn’t eaten all day either. Anjali tells him their father hasn’t eaten. Aman gently offers Ganesh a burger and pastry. Ganesh, starved and broken, snatches the food and devours it like a man lost. Aman then hands burgers to Sapna and Anjali.
From outside the window, Ramesh watches silently. His eyes well up as he reflects on the power of human connection, on how love and kindness still survive in the darkest moments.
Later, Ramesh calls Inspector Pankaj and asks if he has identified who humiliated Ganesh. Pankaj hasn’t found proof yet, but suspects Chandrabhan and Yuvraj. Ramesh then tries calling Raghav. Raghav is in the washroom and asks Nandini to answer the call. When she picks up, Ramesh tells her to hand the phone to Raghav. Nandini coldly asks who he is. Ramesh replies that Raghav will know—he’s an old friend. She simply tells him Raghav is in the washroom.
Meanwhile, Anjali’s friends return from the doctor and tell Sapna the tests will cost about ₹25,000. Sapna is overwhelmed. When Anjali asks what’s wrong, Sapna explodes. She slaps Anjali hard and blames her for dragging their family into this mess for the sake of a stranger. Her anger spills out—she calls Anjali a failure like Ganesh, says she hasn’t earned a single rupee, and cruelly adds, “You should just die.” Anjali breaks down in tears and clings to her mother.
Just then, Raghav calls Sapna. He offers her a maid’s job—replacing Padma. Shocked, Sapna asks, “What is samdhiji saying?” But Raghav snaps. “Don’t call me that. I don’t befriend beggars.”
