The story begins with Adrija trying to humiliate Meghla, saying she can’t dance. But Ranbir steps in, gently supporting Meghla and expressing his desire to hear her sing instead. Mahua then suggests they all spend some time together at a resort, enjoy a musical night, and get to know Ranbir’s family better. Ranbir downplays his background, saying his family isn’t extraordinary, even though they run a large hotel business. Mahua is impressed by his humility and praises Meghla’s modest nature. Adrija quickly pulls Ranbir away to dance, warning him not to compare himself with Meghla, showing her growing jealousy.
Meanwhile, back at home, Meher and Dadi talk about Diljot’s condition. Balveer doubts that she will ever recover completely. Meher feels heavy-hearted hearing this. Harman then questions why the children were kept away from the truth. He confronts Balveer, asking why Diljot was brought home when she was already married. Pressured by everyone, Balveer finally reveals the painful truth — Diljot had fallen in love and eloped with someone their family didn’t approve of. Their father couldn’t accept that marriage, yet they had no choice but to bring her back to protect their family’s reputation. Simran speaks up, pointing out that Diljot is still legally married. Dadi silences her, not wanting to dig into the past. Meher insists they can find her husband, but Balveer says they’ve moved on and don’t care about him anymore.
At the resort, Meghla walks with the group, but she suddenly slips. Ranbir immediately catches her, showing concern. The moment becomes emotional, set against the soft tune of “Rabb Rakha.” Chandan asks if she’s alright, while Ranbir tells her not to worry — it wasn’t that serious. Adrija scolds Meghla harshly, but Chandan defends her, saying Meghla’s attention often wanders and she needs some support. Adrija doesn’t agree and insists Meghla must learn to stand on her own.
Later, Ranbir shares a sweet story about a bridge where locals tie threads and make silent wishes, believing they’ll come true. Adrija playfully asks him what he will wish for, but he says he won’t reveal it. He then invites Meghla to make a wish, encouraging her gently. Each character silently wishes for something close to their heart. Meghla wishes for Adrija’s happiness. Adrija, selfishly, wishes to have Ranbir for herself. Ranbir, with quiet affection, wishes for Meghla. Mahua also hopes Adrija and Ranbir end up together. Chandan makes a touching wish for Meghla — that music always fills her life. Meghla, still trying to be selfless, again wishes for Ranbir and Adrija’s happiness together.
