Ranbir brings Meghla and her family to a restaurant, eager to treat them and spend some quality time together. Chandan proudly claims that nothing beats Bengali food. Mahua tries to convince everyone to enjoy the treat, while Chandan cracks jokes to lighten the mood. Adrija throws a comment at Meghla, calling her not-so-smart, but quickly covers it with a half-hearted apology. Ranbir brushes it off, saying a clean heart matters more than appearances. He cheerfully insists they try Punjabi food today and promises Meghla that once she tastes everything, she’ll crave it daily. Meghla replies she prefers rice, and Adrija quickly agrees, teasing Meghla for eating more. Adrija then claims to enjoy Punjabi cuisine, and Ranbir excitedly asks everyone to sit down, sure they’ll love the meal. He calls the waiter to serve the food.
The family skips the starters and soup, ready to dive into the main course. As the plates arrive, Mahua is surprised by the generous spread. Ranbir praises the aroma, and Chandan agrees, confident the food will be great. But the first bite changes the mood—they all find the food incredibly spicy. Mahua still appreciates the flavor, commenting that the paratha and paneer are different but nice. Adrija starts coughing. Ranbir reminds her that she claimed to love Punjabi food. She quickly defends herself, saying this particular dish is too rich and spicy, not what she meant. Ranbir insists it’s actually mildly spiced. Meghla asks what’s happening. Mahua can’t take the heat and asks for sugar, craving sweets to balance it out. Chandan decides to eat dessert first and finish the rest later. Ranbir jokes that he finds it too bland and is tempted to add more chili. Chandan playfully asks if he’s made of chilies. They all start laughing as they eat the sweets, but Ranbir watches them, feeling worried.
He immediately apologizes, saying he didn’t realize the food would be too spicy for them. Chandan accuses him of taking sweet revenge for the dish they once made him eat. Ranbir denies it and feels bad. Chandan jokes about marrying Adrija to Ranbir and says she wouldn’t survive the spice. Ranbir is shocked and asks him to stop making him feel guilty. He notices Meghla’s eyes watering and asks why she’s crying. She tells him it’s because of the spice. He then checks on Adrija. Meghla firmly tells him not to make her eat Punjabi food again. Everyone laughs, letting the moment lighten up.
Later, Meghla stands alone, softly singing “Yeh sama….” Ranbir walks in and quietly listens, smiling at her voice. She turns and sees him. He tells her that he came looking for her. She asks what he means. Ranbir shares that he’s leaving for Delhi tomorrow and just wanted to spend some good time with her and her family before that. Meghla smiles and says it’s okay—every memory doesn’t have to be sweet, some can be spicy too. She tells him she’ll miss him. Ranbir admits he’ll miss her a lot too.
