The courtroom fills with tension as Debashish begins revealing the truth. He says Shrishti once lied and left Brij behind. Brij kept waiting, believing she would return, but Urvashi knew she never would. Urvashi had deep respect for Brij and started caring for Jhanak in his absence. Then enters Kulbhushan, the man who changed everything. Shrishti and Kul join hands to remove Brij from their way. But Brij gets lucky — a doctor friend saves him and hides him in an ashram. Urvashi and Brij share an emotional bond, but when Brij returns, she can’t tell who the real Brij is. She ends up trusting the wrong man — the fake Brij. She even asks him to take care of Jhanak, but he insults her instead. Still, Urvashi keeps quiet. She never exposes him, just to protect Shrishti’s family. Eventually, the pain becomes too much. Urvashi takes her own life, but before leaving, she puts a weapon — the truth — in Jhanak’s hands. That truth is still with her.
Debashish now calls Anirudh to the witness box. Shubh objects, saying Debashish is making up stories, but also says he has proof. Shubh reveals that Anirudh and Arshi’s wedding was fixed, and they had gone to Srinagar, where they met Jhanak. He blames Urvashi, saying she told Jhanak to trap Anirudh. Debashish snaps back, warning him not to speak like that about his client. Shubh insists he’s just telling the truth — Jhanak came into their house and tried to create trouble between Arshi and Anirudh. Now, he says, Arshi and Anirudh are happily living together.
Debashish now brings up a critical piece of evidence — a letter from Urvashi, and the judge allows him to proceed. Anirudh confirms he has the letter and hands it over to the court. Debashish then asks Jhanak to read the letter aloud. Jhanak takes the letter with trembling hands. As she reads, tears flow. The letter reveals that her father is a successful man known as Guruji. Urvashi confesses that he used her and left her alone. He never accepted Jhanak, not even once. She says her love wasn’t wrong, and neither is Jhanak’s birth. She just made the mistake of trusting the wrong man. Urvashi urges Jhanak to be strong, chase her dreams, and tells her she is now free from a life of insult. It’s a deeply emotional moment, but Shubh suddenly laughs.
The judge immediately asks him why he’s laughing. Shubh casually apologizes and mocks Urvashi, calling her weak and vengeful. He says the letter is just a final act of revenge and claims it’s not valid proof. The judge agrees and rules that the letter cannot be accepted as evidence. Shrishti quietly smiles. Debashish argues that no one would lie before dying, and Urvashi raised Jhanak like her own daughter. But the judge insists — only solid proof and witness statements matter.
Anirudh gently holds Jhanak’s hand. Debashish praises his courage for standing up to his own father. Anirudh helps Jhanak sit down, and Debashish calls the next witness — the real Brijbhushan. Kul also stands up, but Debashish clarifies — he wants the real Brij. Shubh challenges him and says let the court decide who is real. Debashish sharply reminds Shubh to speak respectfully, recalling how badly he once spoke about Urvashi and Jhanak.
Shubh asks to question Brij first. The judge allows it. Shubh demands Brij prove his identity. Brij calmly states that he and Kul are twin brothers. He explains that Kul stole his identity and lived off his name while the world believed Brij was gone. Shubh says this still doesn’t prove anything. Brij admits he lost most of his documents, but he has one — a passport copy proving Kul was in America during the key period. He hands over the copy. The judge checks it but says it’s still not enough.
Debashish steps in, saying Shubh is trying to trap Brij with words. He offers to continue questioning. He starts by asking Brij how Shrishti and Jhanak are related and if there’s any proof that Shrishti gave birth to Jhanak. Brij explains that doctors conducted tests and confirms Shrishti is Jhanak’s biological mother. Shubh demands the medical reports. Brij says it’s Shrishti’s job to keep those documents. Shubh accuses him of blaming her, but Brij firmly says he’s just telling the truth.
Then comes a major breakthrough. Debashish asks if Brij has any document proving Shrishti’s pregnancy. Brij says yes and presents records from the nursing home where Jhanak was born. Debashish then calls the doctor who was in charge at that time — Dr. Ranbir Solanki. The doctor appears and confirms the signature and the medical details. He says he treated Shrishti, whose name was still Shrishti Raina back then, not Mukherjee. He also confirms that Brij had signed the admission form and shows the discharge receipt.
The judge checks the papers and asks the doctor where he works now. He replies he’s still at the same nursing home. Shubh says even this doesn’t prove much. Debashish turns the table and says, if Kul signed those papers, then Kul should have taken responsibility for Jhanak long ago. But he didn’t. And that speaks volumes.

Shubh fumes that Anirudh took a stand against him in court. Anirudh calmly asks if Shubh now wants him to leave the house. Arshi, heartbroken, questions whether she deserves this insult. Anirudh replies firmly — if she isn’t happy here, she should leave. He declares he will stand with Jhanak in this fight, no matter what.
