Jhanak On Starlife Wednesday 28th May 2025 Written Episode Update
Shubh is fuming with anger, unable to accept that Anirudh could support Jhanak in court. He says he’s ashamed to call him his son. Lal questions how Anirudh could possibly make a statement in Jhanak’s favor, and Bipasha agrees, insisting that they need to explain things to him properly. Tanuja adds that Arshi wanted to be with Anirudh, but instead, he chose to spend time with Brij and Jhanak. Shubh says their case is as good as lost now because Anirudh is no longer on their side—he’s even insulted Shrishti. Just then, Arshi returns home, heartbroken and tearful. She complains bitterly about Anirudh, saying she’s the one suffering the most. Tanuja tries to comfort her, acknowledging that Anirudh has hurt them all deeply. Arshi reveals that he went to drop Jhanak and her father home, and when asked why she didn’t stop him, she says she tried, but he wouldn’t listen. She breaks down, saying she can’t take it anymore.

She says she feels like ending her life. Tanuja is shaken and tells her not to speak like that, acknowledging that it’s a tough time. Arshi says no one truly understands her pain—Anirudh left her for someone else. Bipasha says she should have slapped Jhanak. But Arshi refuses to stoop that low. She says Jhanak humiliated her, claiming Arshi was a beggar and that everything she had was given in charity. Shubh is stunned and asks if Jhanak really said that. Arshi confirms it happened in front of Anirudh. Tanuja asks if he said anything in response, but Dadi cuts in, saying Anirudh has lost his mind and that Jhanak is poison. Meanwhile, Kajal confides in Lalon. She tells him Anirudh left and even pushed her on the street. She pleads for Lalon’s help, saying he’s Anirudh’s best friend. But Lalon says their friendship is already broken—Anirudh believes he betrayed him. He urges Kajal to come clean and say why Anirudh is so heartbroken. Kajal begs him to talk to Anirudh anyway.
Appu joins in and asks if the man chasing Kajal is Lalon’s friend. Lalon says he’s never beaten anyone, but Kajal is scared and says she thinks the man will kill her. Lalon offers to call the police commissioner. Appu tries to calm Kajal down, but Lalon says crying might actually help her reflect.
Anuradha suggests taking her to the police to file a report, but Kajal says she only has one option left and leaves in tears. Appu tells Lalon he should’ve helped, but Lalon insists Kajal needs to feel regret, or she’ll repeat her mistakes.
Later, Anirudh returns home. Arshi immediately lashes out, saying she can’t live with him anymore. Anirudh calmly responds that if she’s unhappy, they should just end the relationship. When Shubh confronts him, Anirudh fires back, saying he’s willing to leave the house if they think he’s wrong. Tanuja asks if he’s planning to live with Jhanak, but he avoids the question and defends Jhanak instead. Arshi accuses him of ruining her life, but he says she’s just refusing to face the truth. Tanuja calls him shameless, and he replies that they should be ashamed for what Shrishti did to Jhanak. Shubh reminds him that nothing has been proven yet, and the court will decide. But Anirudh says he knows how easily witnesses can be manipulated.
Anirudh brings up the letter written by Urvashi before her death, which proves Jhanak is Brijbhushan’s daughter. Lal says the court will decide that, but what matters now is Arshi. Anirudh responds that if Arshi is unhappy, she has the choice to leave. Arshi feels insulted and says she doesn’t deserve this treatment. But Anirudh turns the tables, saying she’s humiliated Jhanak more than once. He makes it clear—if she wants to stay, she can, but she shouldn’t question him anymore. He promises to stand by Jhanak, no matter what, and leaves for his room.
The next morning, Anirudh visits Jhanak and hands her some important documents. She tells him her father isn’t home and asks if he was sent. He replies that he brought them himself—they’re important papers. She invites him in. Anirudh, overwhelmed, tells her she doesn’t understand how deeply he loves her. He’s hurt that she keeps pushing him away. He tries to explain himself, his feelings pouring out. Meanwhile, Shubh brings Mimi and Rumi to meet Dr. Sen, hoping to resolve an issue. Dr. Sen accuses Mimi of bothering him and forcing him to pay bills. Shubh asks Mimi to respond, but she denies everything. Rumi stays quiet, and Mimi even winks at Dr. Sen. He says he has proof and shows them the bill. Shubh offers to pay, but Dr. Sen says that’s not why he brought it up. He’s concerned about the implications on Shubh’s reputation. Mimi insists she’s being framed, but Shubh scolds her and pays the amount anyway. Dr. Sen warns that Mimi could do worse things. Shubh gets defensive. As Mimi winks again, Dr. Sen points it out, but she pretends it’s nothing.
Later, Jhanak tells Anirudh they must respect the law. Anirudh says he won’t accept it blindly. She calmly says she does. He asks if she truly doesn’t love him anymore. She tells him to go back to Arshi. Anirudh wants to know if it matters who he loves. She says he’s making a mistake. He insists he’s told Arshi to move on—he doesn’t want to be with her anymore. Jhanak says just because he’s ready to leave Arshi doesn’t mean she’ll take him back. Anirudh says everyone deserves to be happy. She tells him to focus on his own happiness and to leave. He tells her again that he loves her deeply.

Shrishti admits that Jhanak is her daughter, and Kul records her statement. Anirudh tells Jhanak he’ll stand by her in this fight. He asks her to admit she loves him. Jhanak, firm and distant, replies, “I don’t love you.”
