The episode begins with a tender moment between Kumud and Saras. Saras gently asks Kumud to try making mud pots, and when she smiles at the pottery wheel, she tells him to support her now because their love feels complete. Saras returns her smile warmly. Together, they shape the pot, their hands touching as soft music plays in the background. Kumud proudly shows Saras the finished pot, and he tells her it’s perfect—just like their love—and even more beautiful than before. He praises her talent, saying that if she weren’t a school teacher, he would open an art gallery just for her pottery. Kumud laughs, calling him the best husband, and he playfully replies, “You’re welcome.”
Meanwhile, Ghuman approaches Kusum with a kind apology, saying she knows Danny overreacted the day before and she’s sorry on his behalf. She encourages Kusum not to be upset. Kusum smiles and says she doesn’t have any issues with Ghuman and believes Danny will come around and apologize soon. Ghuman tells Kusum to keep smiling and stay happy. Danny walks by, notices Kusum, and shakes his head “no,” which makes Kusum quietly walk away. Ghuman tells Danny not to stay upset, reminding him Kusum already forgot everything and was even singing happily in the kitchen. Danny, however, doesn’t want to talk about it.
Later, Kumud and Saras come downstairs, chatting about the pot Kumud made. Kumud suggests throwing it away if it’s not good enough, but Saras disagrees and tells her to ask Danny. Danny agrees with Saras, saying the pot looks beautiful. Kumud, sensing they are both on Saras’s side, complains that the pot is actually terrible and insists she shouldn’t be making pots.
Danny surprises her by praising her work and suggests she should leave teaching and turn pottery into her profession, saying it could become her identity. Hurt, Kumud scolds Danny, saying she didn’t expect such an insult from him, and walks away. Danny asks what’s wrong, and Saras silently signals Kusum that everything is fine.
Kumud explains to Danny that no one made fun of her. Danny insists he didn’t mean to hurt her and asks what she told him. Saras watches quietly as Kumud tells Danny he misunderstood her feelings. She reminds him that Kusum also supported Ghuman’s art by helping her fix her ghungroos (ankle bells). Kusum gave the ghungroos to honor Ghuman’s talent, not to insult her. Kumud questions how Danny could think Kusum ever disrespected Ghuman. Danny admits she’s right and says he doubted Kusum again, but wonders why his mother made him suspicious. Kumud reminds him that since he loves Kusum so much, he shouldn’t have doubted her.
Saras sternly tells Danny that he can’t expect forgiveness over and over. Danny says he’ll apologize to Kusum properly. Saras insists that Danny should get down on his knees and promise never to hurt her again. Danny leaves to do so. Saras compliments Kumud on her clever idea, and Kumud credits her smart husband. Saras jokes that together they can solve any problem, and they smile. Kumud quietly reflects that she had to fix the fight because no one else understood what really happened. Ghuman watches suspiciously, realizing Kumud has done something behind the scenes and thinks Danny and Kusum shouldn’t be allowed to talk.
Ghuman tells Kusum to go to her room because Danny is upset. Danny approaches Kusum, but Ghuman scolds him and sends Kusum away, saying she’ll handle Danny herself. Danny stops Kusum, saying he started the fight and will be the one to end it. He sincerely apologizes to Kusum while Kumud and Saras look on. Danny drops to his knees, telling Kusum he’s sorry for hurting her in recent days and asks for a chance, promising never to doubt her again. If she can’t forgive him, he will accept it. Kusum tearfully tells him not to say sorry again and not to leave her. She says she’s willing to accept his scoldings every day, as long as he’s not angry with her. Danny promises he’ll never hurt her and holds her in a warm embrace. Kumud and Saras smile softly while Ghuman looks shocked.
In front of Danny, Ghuman acts sweet toward Kusum, but Danny credits Kumud and Saras for helping him realize he was wrong. Kumud smiles quietly. Saras tells Danny his work isn’t over yet—he needs to take Kusum out. Danny smiles and agrees, making Kusum happy. Ghuman glares as they leave. Kusum and Danny spend some time together, and Kusum admits she’s scared that even though they try to understand each other, they end up hurting one another. Danny holds her hand and says no matter how annoyed he gets, he’ll always come back to her because of his love. Kusum gives him a gift, which turns out to be a photo of the two of them. Danny hugs the photo and then hugs her. He takes a selfie with her, both smiling, and jokes that from now on he won’t fight, but if she does, he’ll frame the photo and gift it to her.
Ghuman seethes, wondering how Danny could make such a promise. Kumud calmly replies that it’s possible. Ghuman looks at her suspiciously, but Kumud reminds her that truth is stronger than lies and says they have won this round. Ghuman insists she’s not done yet. Kumud tells her she’s played many dirty tricks, but now she should watch how happy Danny is with Kusum and think about his happiness. Ghuman vows she can give Danny even more happiness—and will separate him from Kusum to do it. Kumud calls her selfish and accepts her challenge, saying this will be a battle between selfishness and love. Kumud is determined to bring Danny and Kusum closer. Since they never had their traditional wedding night, Kumud and Saras plan to decorate their “suhaag sejh” (bridal bed). She thinks Ghuman will act recklessly in anger, which might reveal her true colors to Danny. Ghuman’s anger grows.
