Ansh comes to Prem and asks what’s wrong, noticing he looks troubled. Prem tries to act normal and says nothing is wrong, but admits he can’t sleep. Ansh asks if everything is okay and if some girl bothered him again. Prem replies that he never wants to date anyone from those websites and feels lucky to have avoided that mess. Then Ansh asks Prem if he has ever fallen in love with anyone. Prem says he’s met many girls but never truly fallen in love. For him, love means being ready to die for each other, but he feels girls don’t believe in that anymore. He tells Ansh that maybe it sounds like he’s acting tough, but this is his honest truth, even if no one else believes him. Ansh trusts Prem completely and compares him to Anuj Dadu, saying Anu Maa could never be wrong about him.
He tells Prem that he must be a trustworthy person and mentions how he’s heard about Anuj Dadu and Anu Maa’s lifelong love story many times from Rahi. Ansh jokes about what kind of girl Prem wants, and Prem gives a description that basically sounds like Rahi. Ansh laughs and says Rahi is one of a kind, and if that’s what Prem wants, then Prem will probably stay single forever. Prem quietly says he only wants Rahi and no one else.
The next morning, Anupama reminds everyone they need to deliver breakfast on time. She mentions that Rahi went out to get milk to make ghee, and asks Prem to start packing the food. Anupama recalls something Mahi said earlier and looks worried. Rahi is out, thinking she just wanted to avoid facing Prem since he hasn’t called all morning. Prem asks Anupama if she’s feeling alright, and suddenly she faints. Everyone rushes to help her. Prem calls Rahi, but she doesn’t want to talk to him and asks him not to call again before hanging up. The doctor arrives and checks Anupama, saying her fainting is due to stress. Mahi offers to do all the work, telling Anupama not to worry about it. Prem finds Rahi and tells her what happened to Anupama. Rahi rushes back in a hurry, leaving behind the milk and her phone. Prem tells her he’ll take care of everything except looking after Anupama. Pakhi watches and worries that if a love triangle forms, their mother will be caught in the middle.
Later, Rahi faces Prem and says he wanted to hear her answer. Prem hopes this means the start of their love story. But instead, Rahi tells him she doesn’t love him. Prem is shocked and hurt. She apologizes and explains that her rejection isn’t because of any fault in him, but because love is a complicated feeling, and she’s not ready for it. She says her life is finally stable after a long time, and she doesn’t want the ups and downs of love right now. She wants a friend, not a lover, and Prem is her only real friend here. She asks him not to take that friendship away from her. Rahi admits she couldn’t handle her parents’ troubled love life, so she’s scared to handle her own love. Prem asks why she didn’t reject him sooner, and Rahi says she simply didn’t know how to respond. Prem tells her it’s okay and sits silently in his jeep. She asks if he’s upset, and he says no. Even if she doesn’t love him, he still loves her and will wait for her as long as he lives. Anupama watches the scene from the window quietly. Prem wipes tears as he drives away, with a song playing softly. Rahi holds a pen, thinking over everything, and decides to help Mahi in the kitchen. Anupama senses something between Prem and Rahi but isn’t sure whether it’s friendship, love, or something else.
Later, Prem drives while crying, lost in his thoughts about Rahi. He stops the jeep, runs, and hits a tree in frustration, feeling like his love story ended before it even began. Suddenly, a group of goons approach him and demand all his belongings. They take his wallet and money and notice Rahi’s photo on his phone. They ask for her name. Prem fights back, but the goons beat him badly. Just as they try to snatch his phone, some strangers arrive and scare the goons away. One of the men helps Prem up and asks if he’s alright.
Meanwhile, Rahi tries to help Mahi in the kitchen, but Mahi snaps at her, accusing her of wanting attention. Anupama walks in and sees the besan burning and the gas wasted, worried about what they will tell their clients. She asks where Prem is, but his phone is switched off. The men who helped Prem arrive and assist him. Prem looks at Rahi’s photo on his phone and quietly says that whether or not she loves him, he will never stop loving her.

Mahi apologizes to Anupama for pressuring her but says she had to speak up. She urges Anupama to bring Prem back. Rahi sees Prem’s jeep and wonders if he came because he heard her voice note, if he came for her. She tries to tell Anupama about her feelings for Prem, but Anupama says she needs to talk to Prem first, especially since Mahi is madly in love with him. Rahi is shocked.
