Jhanak On Starlife Monday 2nd June 2025 Written Episode Update
The episode opens with Tanuja accusing Anirudh of destroying Arshi’s life. Lal steps in, urging Anirudh to reflect on his behavior, but Anirudh remains defiant, insisting that he hasn’t held Arshi back—she’s free to walk away anytime. Shubh tries to remind him that Arshi is now part of their family, their bahu, and no matter what, this relationship shouldn’t fall apart. Anirudh, however, stays firm. He implies that if Arshi isn’t truly with him emotionally, then the relationship has already lost its meaning. Lal tells him that things can still be repaired if he just reconsiders his decision. Anjana attempts to calm the situation, offering food to Anirudh, but he refuses and storms off. Meanwhile, a heated argument erupts between Shubh and Bablu, with Dadi having to intervene and urge everyone to stop fighting. Choton, in his usual sarcastic way, mocks Arshi, making things even more tense.

In a quieter corner, Kajal arrives with groceries for Anuradha. Lalon feels uncomfortable and assumes she’s doing this out of pity since he lost his job. Kajal reassures him that it’s not charity—she’s eaten at their home countless times, and this is just her way of giving back, nothing more. Appu shares the heartbreaking news that the contractor ran off with Lalon’s money again, leaving them in financial trouble. Over at another house, Jhanak and Brij are getting ready to leave. Brij asks her if she’s afraid. She assures him she isn’t. He encourages her to speak the truth fearlessly and gently reminds her that deep down, he knows she loves Anirudh. Jhanak replies with honesty—she knows Arshi is in Anirudh’s life and has no intention of causing anyone pain. Brij, however, tells her that one day, she might find herself needing Anirudh and urges her not to speak to him harshly, as it could hurt him deeply. Jhanak brings him a glass of water, gently caring for him. Brij tells her she looks after him so well, and she responds with emotion, saying she found her father after many years and wants to build a peaceful, beautiful world for them. She tells him they’ll go to Mumbai, where her friends are, and live together. As they talk, he stumbles slightly from leg pain, and though he brushes it off, Jhanak grows worried. He insists they leave soon, and she promises she’ll always be by his side.
Back at the house, Anuradha explains that she can’t provide food for everyone right now, but Appu must eat so she can take her medication. Appu, full of concern for others, hesitates to eat alone. Jhimli takes the opportunity to complain loudly that no one ever looks out for her. Anuradha quickly scolds her, but Appu, in her sweet way, offers to share the food with Jhimli.
The tension grows when Jhimli snaps at her, saying she doesn’t need her pity. Kajal defends Appu, and both Anuradha and Lalon try to make Jhimli understand that Appu is different—she’s ill and needs special care. Jhimli grumbles but doesn’t calm down. Appu, still trying to make peace, offers her sweets, but Jhimli mocks her again. The others look on helplessly as emotions bubble over.
Meanwhile, the courtroom hearing begins. Debashish calls Jhanak to the witness stand. She introduces herself as Jhanak Bhanushali, which immediately draws objections from Shubh. He claims that her documents list her name as Jhanak Raina and says she’s lying. But Debashish firmly responds that Jhanak’s identity as Brij and Shrishti’s daughter has already been proven, and official papers don’t change the truth. He asks Jhanak to recount what happened on the day she disappeared from the film shoot. Jhanak explains that she was filming with Aditya when a production boy approached her and said Anirudh had fallen down the stairs. Without thinking, she rushed into a car, not noticing who was driving. After a while, she realized the route was wrong and confronted the driver. That’s when she saw it was Tejas behind the wheel. Scared, she screamed and pleaded for them to let her go, but they ignored her and drove deep into a forest area near a lake. The production boy sprayed something on her face, and she fainted. After that, she says, she remembers nothing.
Shubh laughs mockingly, calling her story flimsy and unbelievable. He sarcastically questions how she survived if the car was really pushed into a lake. He says it sounds like magic. Back at home, the argument continues as Jhimli grumbles that no one listens to her and blames her behavior on her so-called bad friends. Appu pleads with her not to be upset and to share the food, but Jhimli lashes out again, rejecting her kindness. Jhanak stands strong in court, saying she’s speaking nothing but the truth. She accuses Shubh of constantly lying, saying he does it so easily because of his profession. Shubh, now furious, says she’s insulting him. Debashish sharply responds that Shubh has insulted plenty of people himself. Shubh then introduces his own witness—a production boy who he claims was with Jhanak that day. He insists that Aditya was also in the car and had ill intentions. Shubh claims Aditya feared Jhanak would blackmail him and ruin his career, so he pushed the car into the river to kill her.
Debashish claps back, saying he too has a witness—another production boy named Anurag, who steps into the courtroom. Shrishti immediately panics, claiming the whole thing is a setup. Vinayak speaks up, saying he wants Shrishti to face punishment so she can come back as a better person. Back at home, Jhimli storms off angrily, and Appu bursts into tears. Kajal is surprised by Jhimli’s harshness, and Lalon says she’s fallen into the wrong crowd. Anuradha tries to comfort Appu, but she refuses to eat, saying everyone should have the same food and that Jhimli is still angry. Lalon remarks that Appu is incredibly kind-hearted and thoughtful. Kajal gently tells him to calm down.
In the courtroom, Debashish begins questioning Anurag. He admits that he was paid to help execute the plan because he was desperate—his child was very sick, and he needed the money. He reveals that Tejas had returned from Srinagar and orchestrated the whole thing, with another person involved—Shrishti. Shrishti immediately jumps up and calls him a liar. Shubh also tries to silence Anurag and demands proof. Anurag insists he has evidence. Debashish points out that no criminal ever willingly confesses. Anirudh expresses relief that the witness has finally come forward. Brij agrees and says this is a crucial day, then wonders aloud where Kul is. Anirudh nods, saying today’s outcome is extremely important.

Anirudh tries to speak with Jhanak, but she coldly turns away and walks off. Suddenly, shots are fired—Anirudh and Brij both get hit. Jhanak is frozen in shock.
