The episode begins with Meghla expressing her discomfort about the noise around her, saying it makes her feel like an outsider. Chandan encourages her to join in with everyone instead of staying apart. Meghla assures him that she won’t let him down when it comes to singing. Chandan tells her that her talent already makes him proud, and she smiles, saying she understands that now. Still thinking about what Adrija had said earlier, Meghla decides it’s time to uncover the truth.
Meanwhile, Ranbir sees Meher and the family returning from a shopping trip. Meher explains that with the roka just two days away, they had a lot to prepare. Just then, Diljot enters, joking that while they were out buying jewellery, she also wants some—this time, for Ranbir’s wedding. Tai ji tells her not to worry and to relax, with Ranbir also agreeing. But Diljot insists there’s still a lot to do, including her husband’s duties and buying a wedding gift for Ranbir.
Later, Adrija is seen chatting with her friends as Meghla watches from a distance. Adrija talks about Ranbir’s risky profession, trying to sound impressive. Her friends invite Meghla to join them, but Adrija dismisses her as someone who prefers to be alone and can’t easily fit in. One of the girls says that Meghla seems shy now, but love has the power to change a person completely.
Back at home, Meher apologizes to her mother-in-law for being late. Dadi makes a playful comment about Ranbir’s quick decision to get married. Ranbir says he’s happy to delay it if needed, which prompts Harman to crack a joke, making everyone laugh. Meher shows the jewellery she picked and says she chose everything based on everyone’s preferences. She adds that her daughter-in-law is very special, and when she spoke to her, she felt a calmness in her nature. Ranbir agrees, saying she doesn’t make any demands. Simran teases him, suggesting he already knows her very well, then takes a playful jab at Harman.
Simran then shows off a pair of earrings she bought. Dadi says she still wants to know who the girl is that taught Ranbir how to love. Harman agrees, saying they’re all curious. Meghla, overhearing everything, becomes emotional. She later asks Chandan, with tears in her eyes, if he ever regretted her birth. Surprised, he asks what she means. Meghla softly says she just wanted to know. Chandan gently recites a poem for her, trying to lift her spirits. He tells her not to take Adrija’s harsh words to heart. Meghla admits that it did hurt, and he advises her to forgive Adrija if she can. He then hugs her, comforting her as she breaks down in tears.
UPCOMING
During the Durga Puja celebration, Ranbir and Adrija perform a dance together. Meghla is invited to sing, but Adrija immediately objects to it.
