Saras And Kumud On Starlife Friday 6th June 2025 Written Episode Update
The episode begins with Kumud and Kusum performing the aarti at home. Danny looks on, upset and withdrawn. Kumud gently does his tilak and reminds him that there will be another aarti in the evening—asking him to be home on time. Meanwhile, Saras is getting ready to leave for the construction site. When Kumud tries to do his tilak, he pulls away. She hands him a list of puja items she needs, asking him if he’ll bring them. Saras doesn’t respond, so she says she’ll go get them herself after finishing her school work. At the last moment, Saras silently takes the list. Kumud smiles gratefully and thanks him.
She then asks Kusum about Ghuman’s whereabouts. Kusum says she left early that morning and hasn’t returned. Ghuman, dressed elegantly, goes to meet Kabir. He compliments her, saying she looks beautiful. She smiles and praises his plan, saying it was perfect—he managed to create a rift between the brothers without anyone suspecting her. When she asks why he called her, Kabir shows her a blank canvas, saying she once asked why it was empty. He tells her he’s finally found someone worthy to paint—her. Ghuman is flattered as she poses confidently. While Kabir paints, both of them silently plot—Ghuman thinking she can use Kabir’s feelings to get Danny back, and Kabir believing she now trusts his love and will help him achieve his hidden goals.
Back home, Saras returns with the puja items. Kumud thanks him and asks him to eat, but he says he’s already had food. She replies she has too. Kusum teasingly points out that Kumud was waiting for him. Kumud asks him to come for the evening aarti, but Saras refuses coldly and walks away. Meanwhile, Kabir finishes the painting and shows it to Ghuman. She pretends to be amazed, saying she can’t tell if she’s really that beautiful or if he’s just made her look that way. Kabir replies that paintings don’t lie—she truly is beautiful. He says he won’t feel like painting anything else again.
In his room, Saras vents his frustration. He wonders why Kumud is still trying—Danny has made it clear he sees Saras only as a stepbrother. Saras recalls how he had always forgiven Danny, but this time, he won’t. He urges Kumud in his thoughts to stop hoping—things won’t be the same again.
Elsewhere, Kusum finds Danny crying. She says maybe Saras is hurting just as much. But Danny says no—Saras didn’t come to see him in jail, even though everyone else did. He believes Saras doesn’t love him. Kusum gently challenges him—can Saras really bear to see him in pain? Danny says his heart wants to believe that Saras cares, but he’s seen the truth with his own eyes: Kabir, a stranger, stood by him when Saras didn’t. Kusum insists he’s mistaken, and that he’ll never find happiness by staying away from Saras.
At Yash’s house, Kalika complains about Dinesh Bhai threatening her, and that she’s stuck at home because Ghuman won’t give her money. When Yash’s mother questions her, Kalika manipulates the situation—blaming Kumud and suggesting Saras and Kumud will move in on the 10th day, taking over their room. She stirs insecurity, saying they may even ask Yash’s mother to vacate her room. Yash’s mother is furious and storms off to confront Vidyachatur and Badimaa. She bitterly says Kumud should stay in her own house. Vidyachatur defends Kumud, and Badimaa gently reminds her that their family values are rooted in togetherness. Yash’s mother argues, but Vidyachatur says they will do whatever is best for their children. Badimaa urges everyone to pray that the family doesn’t fall apart.
Later, Kumud and Kusum wait anxiously for their husbands to join the puja. Vidyachatur and Badimaa arrive and are warmly welcomed. When Vidyachatur asks about Danny and Saras, Danny walks in. Kusum smiles at him, and he greets the elders. Kumud keeps looking toward the door, hoping Saras will come. Alone in his room, Saras stares at Kumud’s photo, deeply hurt. He recalls how they once promised to support each other through everything, and now feels betrayed—like he’s lost the one person who understood him.
Downstairs, Kumud says they should begin the aarti. Holding the diya in her hand, she says it’s a test of her faith—and begins the ritual alone, with tears in her eyes. Saras, in his room, is restless. The sound of the aarti bells echoes in his ears. He covers his ears and insists to himself, “I won’t come, Kumud.” Everyone watches as Kumud continues the aarti, her heart silently calling out to him.

Kumud’s hand gets burned while performing the aarti. Everyone rushes to stop her, but she doesn’t listen.
