Choton meets Anirudh to talk about Jhanak, and as their conversation unfolds, Arshi arrives quietly and overhears them. Anirudh speaks with deep guilt, saying he couldn’t do anything when Urvashi passed away, and now Brij’s death has left him feeling helpless again. He feels like a failure for not being able to protect Jhanak from pain. Arshi, standing silently nearby, listens with confusion and growing suspicion, unsure what Anirudh and Choton are discussing. Choton tells Anirudh that there’s still time to be there for Jhanak and do what’s right. Anirudh says it’s not that simple—he’s sure Jhanak will push him away.
Arshi thinks to herself, trying to make sense of it all. If Anirudh doesn’t want to be with Jhanak, why did he bring her back into their lives? Anirudh says Arshi has never done anything wrong. She’s always loved him and has been by his side. He feels torn because he owes her something. But Choton gently challenges him, saying maybe the truth is that Anirudh never truly loved Arshi. He adds that perhaps Jhanak is the one he actually loves. Arshi stands there, silently breaking down, her heart sinking as she hears every word. Anirudh confesses that somewhere along the way, his feelings for Jhanak grew, and now he carries guilt for hurting Arshi. Choton says love like that only happens once in a lifetime and begs him not to leave Jhanak alone again.
Anirudh wonders what he should do about Arshi. Choton reminds him that his marriage with Arshi was never real—there was no official ceremony or registration. He asks Anirudh to be honest: does he even consider Arshi his wife? Anirudh says nothing, lost in thought. Arshi turns away, holding back tears, and quietly walks out of the room, shattered.
Meanwhile, Kajal returns home and hands over ₹20,000 to Lalon. She tells him it’s for both him and Appu, and though it’s not a huge amount, it’s a start. Appu happily says she got paid for her singing. Kajal praises her for her performance and says people appreciated it—they’ll definitely get more opportunities. She tells Appu that now she will sing with Lalon in future shows. Lalon thanks her, and Appu smiles brightly. Jhimli, however, makes a snide remark about not having to survive on boiled potatoes anymore. Anuradha scolds her for being rude.
Jhimli then lashes out at Appu, blaming her for their situation. She claims Appu’s family took their property and now Appu is living among them without shame. Appu is heartbroken by the accusation. Elsewhere, Arshi is crying with her mother, Tanuja. She says everything is falling apart. Her mother is being targeted, and now even her father has lost faith in Tanuja. She adds that her father is going to attend Brij’s funeral, which hurts her even more. Arshi says no matter what she does, she just can’t separate Anirudh from Jhanak, and it feels like her entire world is slipping away. She insists she’s never wronged anyone, yet Jhanak has destroyed her life. Bipasha consoles her and promises that she’ll take care of everything—Jhanak will be gone soon.
Back at home, Jhimli keeps stirring the pot. She tells Appu that her family has ruined them, and when Lalon tries to calm her down, she snaps at him too. Kajal steps in and tries to stop the fight, but Jhimli turns on her next. She bitterly questions Kajal’s place in the family and drags up old matters, saying Kajal was supposed to become this family’s daughter-in-law until Appu came into the picture. Appu, confused and emotional, asks what she means. Kajal brushes it off, calling Jhimli’s claims nonsense. But Jhimli insists Lalon betrayed Kajal because of Appu, and now everything is a mess. Appu starts to cry.
Jhimli continues, saying Kajal was cheated and Lalon let it happen. Tanuja, meanwhile, tells Arshi she doesn’t see any clear way forward. Arshi says Anirudh used to be different, and she can’t believe the man he has become. Bipasha asks her to stay strong and promises again that she’ll remove Jhanak from their lives. Arshi pleads with her to act fast, saying Anirudh has already spoken about ending their relationship—he could do it at any time. She fears that if he does, everything will collapse. She asks what Tanuja will do if that happens. Tanuja insists Anirudh won’t go through with it, saying he loved Arshi deeply. Arshi replies that while that may be true once, now he loves Jhanak. She’s convinced of it.
Appu, still confused and hurt, asks why Jhimli is so angry. Lalon tells her to ignore it, but Appu can’t stop herself from crying. Kajal comforts her, saying she’s meant to be with Lalon for many lifetimes, and not to feel bad. Lal speaks up and says the family conflict began between Kul and Brij’s sides and shouldn’t have anything to do with Appu’s mother. Arshi says Jhanak is going to lie again, and that she won’t ever accept her as a sister, no matter what the court decides. Tanuja tries to calm her, but Bipasha makes a new plan—she says she’ll frame Jhanak in such a way that Jhanak will be forced to leave. She promises that soon, they’ll all be celebrating because she’ll make sure Anirudh comes back to Arshi, and Jhanak disappears within seven days.
The episode ends with Jhanak and her family performing the final rites for Brij. Anirudh stands beside her, offering quiet comfort as she struggles to hold herself together.
