Saras And Kumud On Starlife Thursday 12th June 2025 Written Episode Update
The episode begins with Kabir meeting Ghuman. He tells her that Danny will soon be hers, as he’s heading to Dubai. Ghuman is delighted and says she’ll be forever grateful. Kabir reminds her of her promise and says he’ll ask for what he wants when the time is right. Ghuman agrees to wait, smiling and calling him special. Kabir says he just needs a little more time. Ghuman, confident and pleased, says they’ll have plenty of time once her work is done, and she walks off. Menka arrives right after, laughing as she reveals she’s found the perfect man to trap Ghuman. She says their plan is working flawlessly but reminds Kabir that their true mission is much bigger. Kabir agrees, saying only the right things matter in the end.

Elsewhere, Kumud enters a dance club, where women are rehearsing. A man approaches a dancer named Sunanda, telling her a girl came along asking about her old friend. He leaves as Sunanda turns to face Kumud. Kumud walks toward her and says the name “Ghuman.” The moment she hears it, Sunanda’s expression darkens. Furious and shaken, she asks Kumud why she dared utter that name. “She wasn’t a woman, she was poison,” Sunanda snaps. She demands Kumud leave and even points toward the exit. Kumud pleads, saying she’s come from far and only Sunanda can help her. But Sunanda refuses to listen and turns away. As Kumud begins to leave in tears, Sunanda pauses. Kumud continues, explaining that while Ghuman may be Sunanda’s past, she is her present—and if Sunanda helps, she might be able to save her family. Moved by Kumud’s desperation, Sunanda calls out and stops her.
Sunanda looks deep into Kumud’s eyes, warning her that she’s seen countless liars in her life, so she’ll know if Kumud is one too. Kumud insists she’s telling the truth. Sunanda asks her to look into her eyes and say who she is and how she’s connected to Ghuman. Kumud recalls the troubling faces of Ghuman, Kabir, and Menka before revealing, “I’m her daughter-in-law.” Shocked, Sunanda stares at her. Kumud quickly clarifies that she’s not there to accuse Ghuman but to uncover a secret that’s threatening to destroy their family. Sunanda asks sharply, “Whose son? Her own or stepson?” She tells Kumud she’s known Ghuman since childhood and that her expression confirms Ghuman is still as venomous as ever.
Meanwhile, at home, Kusum anxiously hopes Kumud returns soon. The doorbell rings. It’s Kabir, holding a file for Saras. Kabir is surprised to hear that Kumud hasn’t returned from her friend’s mehendi ceremony. Vidyachatur explains that they’re all waiting for her so they can start the aarti. Kabir joins them inside. Just then, Menka enters too. Ghuman smiles upon seeing Kabir. Saras tries calling Kumud, but her phone is switched off. He grows increasingly worried, wondering where she could be. At the dance club, Sunanda finally asks Kumud what exactly she wants to know. Kumud realizes that Sunanda’s grudge may lead to the answers she needs and asks her to reveal the truth about Ghuman.
Sunanda says it’s chhoti Navratri, and she has to perform aarti now. She tells Kumud to come with her. Kumud worries about her family being stressed and asks to charge her phone. Sunanda allows it. While Kumud attends the aarti, Saras prays for her safe return. Kumud silently prays too, promising to come home soon. Vidyachatur tells Saras they need to act. Saras says he doesn’t know what to do anymore. Guniyal and Kusum are deeply concerned. Kusum reveals that she knows all Kumud’s friends but wasn’t told about any function. Saras decides to call around for answers. Ghuman watches the tension with cold interest.
One by one, they contact all of Kumud’s friends and realize there was no such wedding. Guniyal is horrified—where could Kumud have gone? Saras, heartbroken, wonders why she would lie. He decides they must search for her now. Kabir offers to help, and they leave together. Danny follows. Ghuman watches them go, unreadable.

Sunanda suddenly throws Kumud’s phone into a bucket of water. Shocked, Kumud demands, “What did you do?” Sunanda calmly replies, “The one I like, I never let her go.” Kumud is stunned.
