Sacred Love On Starlife Thursday 12th June 2025 Written Episode Update
The episode opens with Adrija’s roka ceremony in full swing, surrounded by family and laughter. Ranbir arrives with a smile, his eyes immediately searching for Meghla. Kamal notices his late entry and points it out, but Simran brushes it off, saying they still made it in time. Meghla warmly welcomes them and gestures for them to come in. Ranbir enters the hall and notices Adrija on the stage in traditional attire, but confusion flickers across his face. Mahua teasingly asks if they got lost on the way, and Param admits they did. Harman introduces himself as Ranbir’s elder brother, with Simran beside him, and compliments Adrija, calling her graceful. Meghla asks Ranbir to join them, and Chandan encourages him, saying the ceremony is almost over. But Ranbir has something on his mind—something urgent—and insists on speaking.

Chandan gives him the floor, but before Ranbir can say anything, Meher cuts in, assuming he’s about to make excuses for being late. Diljot agrees and says the rituals must continue. But Ranbir, still visibly unsettled, says sorry and insists again that he needs to talk—he questions why the ceremony is happening with Adrija. His words leave everyone confused. Meher, taken aback, asks what he means. Ranbir explains that there seems to have been a misunderstanding—that maybe he didn’t communicate properly. He assumed his feelings were understood by all, but now it’s clear that everything has gone wrong.
Zoravar asks him to speak clearly, saying it’s already late for riddles. Chandan tries to reason that everyone is happy with this match and trusts that Adrija will be happy in Ranbir’s household, but is now concerned as to why Ranbir is calling it a mistake. Meghla, noticing how tense Ranbir looks, offers to bring him juice, but he suddenly holds her hand, stopping her. Everyone turns quiet.
She asks what’s wrong, and he tells her she can’t go anywhere—she needs to stay. Mahua, trying to lighten the mood, jokes that maybe he wants to hear Meghla sing again since she already performed earlier and received lots of praise. Harman, intrigued, says it’s nice to know Meghla sings and suggests they all hear her perform after the ceremony. Meher urges Ranbir to save his speech for later since Adrija is waiting for the final rituals. But Ranbir doesn’t back down—he says they have to change the ceremony plan.
This shocks everyone. Meher questions what change he’s talking about. Harman and Param exchange concerned glances. Harman urges him to speak openly. Mahua begins to fear something is terribly wrong. Chandan and Adrija also grow uneasy. Then Ranbir finally says it—he admits it’s his fault, that he failed to communicate properly, and though today was supposed to be a special day in his life, it wasn’t meant to be with Adrija. It was meant to be with Meghla.
The revelation leaves the room in silence. Adrija is shattered. Mahua and Chandan are stunned and demand an explanation. Adrija, overwhelmed with hurt, removes her dupatta and angrily confronts Ranbir, asking if this was some sort of joke. She accuses him of humiliating her in front of everyone. Meghla, in disbelief, scolds Ranbir, reminding him that Adrija is her sister and has her own dignity.
Ranbir tries to explain that it was never meant to insult Adrija, that it was all just a heartbreaking misunderstanding. He says they can still fix it. But Adrija, unable to hold back her pain, throws away the necklace meant for the ceremony and breaks down in tears. She walks away and sits down, sobbing.
Ranbir gathers his courage and confesses that it’s Meghla he has deep feelings for. He thought everyone understood that and that’s why he never voiced it clearly before. Looking at Meghla, he asks her directly if she’s willing to be his life partner.
But instead of joy, Meghla is furious. She lashes out at Ranbir for causing Adrija so much pain. She reminds him that just because she was kind and friendly doesn’t mean he could take it for more than what it was. She says she’s a simple girl, not a weak one, and his actions have not only hurt her sister but have also embarrassed her. She accuses him of treating marriage like a joke, pointing out that Adrija invested real feelings into this relationship—feelings that can’t simply be erased. She asks him what gave him the impression that she ever gave him hope.
Ranbir pleads with her, saying he only spoke from the heart. But he leaves the decision in her hands now.
UPCOMING
Meghla demands that Ranbir call the whole thing a prank and move on. But Ranbir looks her in the eye and says he has only ever loved her—and he still wants to marry her. Meghla, overwhelmed and hurt, firmly says she doesn’t want to marry him. She turns away and walks out.
