The episode opens with Saras reporting Kumud’s disappearance to the inspector. But instead of showing concern, the inspector mocks Kumud’s past—her divorce from Pramad and her marriage to Saras. He casually asks if Saras and Kumud had a fight, to which Saras firmly says no, explaining that she went to a friend’s mehendi ceremony. The inspector then rudely questions if Kumud might be having an affair. Saras gets angry, but the inspector continues taunting, suggesting that men often make their wives “disappear” and then come crying to the police. Danny loses his cool and scolds the inspector, who threatens to drag him into a drug case again. Saras says he’ll take it up with the SP. Kabir intervenes, calming everyone and requesting the inspector to file the report properly.
Meanwhile, a maid brings food to Kumud and is shocked to find the room empty. She rushes to alert Sunanda. Outside, Kumud hides behind the door but soon makes a run for it. When Sunanda comes in, she finds the window broken and panics. She immediately sends her men to stop Kumud from escaping Chandni Bazaar. On the streets, Kumud runs frantically, not knowing where to go. She trips and falls but gets up again, desperate to escape. A car nearly hits her, and she dodges it, but Sunanda’s goons catch her before she can get away. Kumud cries for help, but no one comes. Sunanda, cold and in control, tells her no one leaves without her permission. She pretends to offer to drop Kumud home, but Kumud knows it’s a trap. Her pleas fall on deaf ears.

Back home, Saras tells everyone to go home while he tries to track down the taxi driver. Danny wants to stay with him but leaves with Kabir and Kusum. At their house, Kabir sees everyone filled with worry. He tells them Kumud hasn’t been found in all of Ratnagiri. Guniyal breaks down in tears. Kabir tries to reassure her, promising to bring Kumud back safely. Kalika secretly feels happy, thinking her prayers are finally being answered. She silently hopes for worse news about Kumud.
At home, Danny is restless and upset. He thinks about Kumud and feels guilty for not believing her when she tried to explain herself earlier. Kusum notices his sadness. He confesses his regret and worry, wondering what will happen if Kumud doesn’t return. Kusum reassures him that Kumud will come back safely.
Saras meets the taxi driver, but he has no new information. Saras, defeated but determined, says he won’t stop until he finds her. He decides to wait where taxis usually pass by, refusing to go home without her. Sitting alone, he imagines Kumud walking away from him, and he gets up, shouting her name in pain. A man nearby rushes to him and checks if he’s okay. Saras, holding back his emotions, says he’s fine.
Back at Chandni Bazaar, Sunanda visits Kumud again with food and tells her to stop crying and eat. Kumud silently weeps. Sunanda locks the door again and leaves. Ghuman calls Sunanda to check on the situation. Sunanda informs her that though Kumud tried to escape, she caught her and brought her back. Ghuman coldly asks what Sunanda plans to do, and Sunanda ominously replies she won’t let Kumud go. Ghuman ends the call without emotion. Kumud stares at the untouched food and thinks of Saras and his love, her eyes full of pain.
Later, another taxi arrives where Saras is waiting, but again, there is no news of Kumud. Meanwhile, at home, the entire family prays for her safe return. Vidyachatur reminds them to also think about Saras, who’s out there, broken and restless. He tells Guniyal to take care of him. Together, they go to see him.
Kusum informs them Saras hasn’t come home yet. Just then, Saras finally walks in, exhausted and defeated. They make him sit, and Kusum brings water. Saras, worn out, says he searched everywhere but couldn’t find her. Guniyal gently asks what his heart feels. Saras looks up, and she tells him that her heart says Kumud will return—because she will come back for him. Danny watches quietly, upset. Meanwhile, Ghuman thinks to herself that everyone believes nothing can separate Saras and Kumud—not even death—but this time, she’s made sure the storm is stronger than death itself.

Sunanda tells Kumud that beauty isn’t in clothing or jewelry but in a woman herself. She tells her to get ready, saying she has no other choice. But Kumud replies firmly that she does have one way out.
