Meanwhile, Anupama tends to Rahi, placing a warm cloth on her wrist and asking why she wore the bangle when it clearly didn’t fit. Rahi quietly replies that the kada was meant for Mahi—it suited her perfectly. Anupama asks if Rahi is in pain, and she softly admits that she is, but not just physically. Anupama gently probes her, sensing a deeper hurt, but Rahi hesitates, thinking, “If I say it out loud, the storm inside me will break everything.” She hugs Anupama, brushing it off, and says she’s only scared of doing something wrong and making her angry. Anupama assures her that she could never be wrong, and everyone loves her dearly. Rahi quietly confesses, “Prem isn’t mine.” Anupama tries to lighten the moment by joking around and says Rahi will get married too. But Rahi refuses. Anupama teases her further, suggesting Rahi can take her along as dowry. They both laugh, and Rahi finally smiles. She tells Anupama that everything will be fine, eventually.
Later that night, Rahi steps out and sees Prem sleeping on the stairs, shivering. She gently covers him with a blanket and lights a fire nearby for warmth. A soft song plays in the background as Prem wakes up. He looks at Rahi and quietly asks, “Are we doing the right thing? Lying to everyone, hiding how we feel?” Rahi tries to stay composed and reminds him of the situation—they both agreed that he would support Mahi. “Then why talk like this now?” she asks. Prem replies that the heart doesn’t follow logic. They share a quiet, emotional moment, recalling a similar conversation from before.
Just then, Ansh sees them together and gets furious. Rahi quickly leaves, but Ansh storms over and grabs Prem by the collar, accusing him of double-crossing his sisters. Prem warns him to lower his voice, not wanting to wake the others, but Ansh provokes him further, challenging him to hit him like a man. Their argument wakes everyone. Anupama arrives, demanding to know what’s going on. Prem tries to brush it off as a “boys’ matter,” but Ansh shouts out the truth—that while he’s getting married to Mahi, he was found cozying up with Rahi.
Everyone is shocked. Pari tries to explain that it’s a misunderstanding, and Mahi defends Prem, saying he isn’t like that. Rahi speaks up, telling Ansh he should’ve spoken to her before making accusations. She explains she had been going to see Kaveri and only stopped when she saw Prem shivering. She covered him with her shawl, and they talked—at a distance—about Mahi and nothing else. Pakhi, Dolly, and Baa scold Rahi gently, saying even if nothing happened, appearances matter. Rahi apologizes, admitting it was a mistake. Baa tells Anupama to remind Rahi that Prem is her future brother-in-law. Mahi continues to trust Prem. Baa calls her “Prem ki deewani” and walks away. Prem is left hurt, while Rahi blames herself for everything and breaks down in tears. “Why couldn’t I stop myself?” she cries. “I pushed Prem towards Mahi… then why does it hurt so much?”
Elsewhere, Anupama is on a work call when she sees a priest (Pandit ji) arriving. She asks Baa if there’s a puja. Baa says no—she’s called him for two reasons: to fix the date for Prem and Mahi’s engagement and to match their horoscopes. Anupama is confused, saying the wedding is already fixed. But Baa insists, saying she doesn’t want to take any chances. Pakhi and Dolly joke about their own marriages. Ishani bluntly says unhappy couples should separate. Pari believes both partners should try to fix things. Kinjal and Toshu smile at her maturity.
Baa then calls Mahi and Prem to sit for the horoscope reading. Ansh secretly hopes the Pandit exposes Prem, while Pari also wishes the match gets rejected. Mahi is nervous that their kundalis may not match, and Prem fears the truth coming out. Rahi silently prays that the match is successful for Mahi’s sake. Anupama just wants the right thing to happen.
The Pandit examines Prem’s palm and says he has a “Maharaj Yog,” a royal destiny. Everyone is pleased until he adds that Prem and Mahi’s lines don’t match at all. “There will be distance… this marriage will not last,” he warns. Mahi angrily snaps that if he doesn’t know how to read hands, he shouldn’t lie. She insists that relationships are about people, not stars. She reminds everyone that even the Pandit’s prediction about Toshu was wrong. Kinjal supports her. Baa warns Mahi that she and Prem will suffer if this marriage goes ahead. But Mahi declares firmly that if she can’t marry Prem, she won’t marry at all.
Anupama, trying to keep peace, asks the Pandit to just give them an engagement date. He suggests a good muhurat after two days. Baa, frustrated, tells Anupama to go ahead if she wants to throw her daughter into a well. But Anupama gently responds that if both people work for the relationship, the marriage can succeed. Baa keeps arguing, but Anupama finalizes the engagement date. Mahi happily thanks her and tells Rahi they need to shop for mehendi—and write Prem’s name on her hands. Rahi forces a smile.
After everyone leaves, Pandit ji quietly pulls Anupama aside. He apologizes for the prediction upsetting Mahi. Anupama apologizes too. But the Pandit then says something that stuns her: “I remember Rahi’s kundali. If Prem marries Rahi, there will be no match like it. Their stars align like Ram and Sita.” Anupama is left speechless.
UPCOMING
Jigna informs Anupama that a girl has come to meet her. Anupama sees Prarthana and warmly invites her to Prem’s engagement. Prarthana congratulates Prem. As Anupama walks away, Prem pulls Prarthana aside and asks why she’s here. Prarthana questions him—“You’re getting engaged without telling us?” Prem, conflicted, says he has no choice. Prarthana pleads with him not to go through with it. At the same time, Rahi applies mehendi on Mahi’s hands. Mahi says, smiling, “Now Prem’s name is on my hands too.” Just then, Prem slips and falls on Mahi’s chair, which causes Mahi to fall into Rahi. Some of the mehendi accidentally smudges onto Rahi’s hand. The three freeze in shock.
