Saras And Kumud On Starlife Wednesday 18th June 2025 Written Episode Update
Sunanda storms into the room, fed up and furious with Kumud. She tells her she’s finally out of patience and warns her not to regret it later. Kusum points out that Kumud wore the dress, and Sunanda is surprised but pleased. She says now Kumud will become famous all over Gujarat. She immediately calls a tailor to make some alterations to the dress and tells him to come quickly. Then she orders the girls to take Kumud to the tailor, but stops Kusum from going and instead sends Kajol, reminding her to keep a close watch since Kumud had tried to escape through the window last time.
Just then, Badimaa returns from the temple. Guniyal tells her that Saras had called and tried to say something about Kumud. Vidyachatur comes in and adds that Danny also called, saying Saras has gone somewhere. He’s clearly anxious and says his mind isn’t working properly from all the worry. Guniyal tries to reassure him, guessing that Saras may have gone outside Ratnagiri to search for Kumud. She struggles internally, knowing Saras told her not to tell anyone, but is unsure how long she can keep it a secret. She then tells Vidyachatur that Saras called in the morning. Danny and Kusum walk in and say that even Kabir doesn’t know where Saras is. Guniyal finally tells them that Saras promised not to return without Kumud. Now, Vidyachatur is even more worried—this time for both of them.
Meanwhile, Kabir meets Ghuman. He can tell she’s scheming something and asks her directly what she’s planning. Ghuman says the perfect opportunity has arrived. With Saras and Kumud both gone, no one can now stop her from influencing Danny’s decisions. She says her dream is about to be realized. When Kabir asks what exactly she means, she just smiles mysteriously. Back in Chandni Bazaar, Saras and his helper Majnu are busy searching for Kumud. Majnu suggests making a copy of Kumud’s photo to show around, and Saras hands him the original, telling him to meet back at the same spot. As Saras walks away, Kumud passes by—so close, yet they both narrowly miss seeing each other. Both sense something familiar, but they don’t realize how close they are. As Saras turns back, someone walks in front of Kumud, blocking her from view.
Majnu returns with the original photo and gives it to Saras, saying the copy is ready. Meanwhile, Kajol takes Kumud to the tailor and instructs him to make the fitting perfect because Kumud is special to Sunanda. Kumud resists giving her measurements, but Kajol warns her to stay quiet or she’ll call Sunanda. Kumud spots a phone on a table nearby and starts thinking. The tailor begins taking her measurements while she stays distracted. Samru, another of Sunanda’s men, watches the scene. Once the alterations are done, Kumud quietly hides the phone among the clothes she’s handed. The tailor tells her to try the clothes in the trial room. Kajol stops her and suspiciously watches her. Kumud wonders if she noticed the phone. Kajol questions her and insists on waiting outside the room. Inside, Kumud tries calling Saras, smiling with hope—but there’s no balance on the phone. She’s frustrated and unsure what to do.
Back at home, Vidyachatur asks Danny to try calling Saras again. Kabir calls Vidyachatur and lies, saying there’s an urgent issue with the factory machines. Vidyachatur says he can’t come and tells Kabir to handle it. Danny says he’ll go instead. Kabir hangs up and calls Ghuman, smugly informing her that Danny is on his way. She thanks him, clearly plotting something.
Later, Kabir tells Danny that the factory issue is resolved and also mentions he had gone to the police station, but there’s still no news about Kumud. They decide to head home. Meanwhile, inside the trial room, Kumud notices a beam of light coming from behind a cupboard. Realizing this could be an exit, she shifts the cupboard and finds a door. She opens it and escapes just as Kajol becomes suspicious due to Kumud’s silence. She calls out, but there’s no reply. She and Samru break open the door and are shocked to see that Kumud has vanished through the secret exit.
Kumud runs through a busy market, her eyes filled with hope and fear. Back at Vidyachatur’s house, Ghuman barges in asking for Danny and Kusum. Kusum tells her Danny went to the factory. Ghuman immediately begins insulting everyone, especially targeting the elders. Badimaa answers her back calmly but firmly. Ghuman cruelly taunts Kumud, saying she’s been missing for a week and mocks her character, calling her shameless. She says if Kusum also disappears like Kumud, she won’t tolerate it. Vidyachatur, shocked, asks who said Kumud ran away. Ghuman says there’s been no word from her, and maybe she doesn’t want to come back at all. She accuses Kumud of previously running away from Pramad’s house with Saras and suggests maybe now she’s run off with someone else. The family is shocked and furious. Badimaa snaps, telling Ghuman not to speak Kumud’s name. She says the problem lies in Ghuman’s twisted mind and not in Kumud’s actions.

Kumud finally spots Saras in the crowd and yells his name, but before she can reach him, the goons grab her and force her into a car. Saras hears her voice, sees her being taken away, and immediately starts running after the vehicle in a panic.
