Anupama On Starlife Thursday 19th June 2025 Written Episode Update
The episode begins with Babu ji announcing that today marks Prem and Mahi’s engagement, and soon, their marriage. He says this phase is important for them to understand each other, and for the family to make proper preparations. Anupama adds that while mehendi fills the house with fragrance, it’s values and culture that truly enrich it. Babu ji reminds Prem of his promise and tells him to fulfill it. Anupama asks Prem and Mahi to exchange rings. As Prem prepares to place the ring on Mahi’s finger, Rahi silently recalls the moment she had imagined him putting the ring on her. But just as Prem is about to slip the ring onto Mahi’s finger, it falls to the ground and rolls near Rahi. Baa asks Rahi to pick it up. Mahi, puzzled, questions how the ring fell. Ansh teases her, saying Prem must be nervous. Rahi quietly picks it up and hands it back to Prem.

Prem gets ready again to place the ring on Mahi’s finger, but Ansh interrupts, saying the ring is hinting that something is missing—some entertainment. To lighten the mood, Babu ji starts a celebratory song, and the entire family joins in. Prem and Mahi dance together. Anupama notices Rahi slowly distancing herself from Prem during the dance. She brings the ring, and finally, Prem places it on Mahi’s finger. Anupama sings “Mahi Ve…” as everyone celebrates. Suddenly, Rahi’s dupatta gets stuck in Prem’s watch and tears. He keeps the torn piece. Rahi steps back while dancing, unaware that a light stand is about to fall on her. Prem notices just in time and rushes to save her. Everyone watches, stunned, as he shields Rahi and catches the stand. In that emotional moment, Prem hugs Rahi and asks if she’s okay. Rahi scolds him for risking his life, saying she would’ve died if something had happened to him. Prem replies that he couldn’t let her get hurt, and then, overwhelmed, confesses, “I love you, Rahi.” Rahi tearfully replies, “I love you too, Prem.” Their heartfelt confession shocks everyone.
Ishu declares it a perfect climax, while Pakhi smirks, saying the real drama is about to begin. Anupama calls out to Rahi and Prem. They both turn to her. The voiceover says, “Love can’t stay hidden, even if lovers do. Love is like a river of fire that must be crossed.” Mahi is stunned. Holding her ring up to Prem, she reminds him that they just got engaged and recalls Babu ji’s words. Confused and heartbroken, she asks if what just happened was a joke or a prank. She pleads with them to say it was all staged, pointing to Ansh’s earlier comment about missing entertainment. She shakes Rahi, demanding an answer. Anupama tries to calm her, but Mahi shoves Rahi away.
Prem steps in and reveals the truth: it was not a prank. It was a moment of truth that emerged in a moment of fear. He admits he truly loves Rahi, and Rahi loves him too. Baa demands to know why he agreed to the engagement if that was the case. Prem explains that Rahi had asked him to make the sacrifice—for Mahi’s happiness and for Anupama’s sake. Mahi collapses from shock. Prem instinctively tries to help her, but he’s still holding Rahi’s hand. Mahi gets up on her own and hugs Baa. Pakhi angrily accuses both Prem and Rahi of playing with Mahi’s feelings. Rahi walks toward Anupama, who stops her. Prem tries to follow, but Anupama blocks him too.
Mahi tearfully tells Anupama that Rahi never wanted this engagement to happen. Anupama tells her to calm down and explains that she had asked Prem multiple times about his feelings. She had even asked Rahi what was truly in her heart and advised Mahi not to rush into the engagement. But no one listened to her. “Do you think this is a movie where the bride gets replaced at the last minute and everything ends happily?” she asks, clearly hurt. She accuses them of making a mockery of family values and calls them shameless.
Baa angrily declares that she had warned them about Rahi. Pakhi says she also gave signs. Ansh blurts that he never liked Prem. Babu ji intervenes and tells everyone to stop. But Toshu objects, asking why they can’t express how they feel. Pakhi says their mother will now give a lecture. Ansh mocks that Prem was just having fun with both Mahi and Rahi. Pari defends Prem, saying he was stuck in a dilemma—caught between Mahi’s love and Rahi’s sacrifice. Pakhi snaps, asking why they didn’t tell the truth earlier. Kinjal steps in and tells Pakhi not to shout at her daughter. Babu ji sighs and says he came back to witness all this. Baa continues to blame Rahi for the chaos in the house. Babu ji retorts, asking if everything was truly perfect before Rahi came. Ansh says Prem should’ve been honest with everyone from the start. Kinjal and the others agree.
Prem falls to his knees before Anupama and apologizes. He says he didn’t hide the truth out of disrespect but out of fear of hurting Mahi and causing her more pain. He reminds Anupama that she, too, understands what first love and heartbreak feel like. He says he didn’t choose to fall in love with Rahi; it just happened. He didn’t even realize when Mahi started falling for him. When he understood his love for Rahi, she had already found out about Mahi’s feelings and chose to suppress her own. She never told him she loved him. If she had, this engagement would never have happened.
He says he tried to stop her, but she wouldn’t listen. Despite her pain, she focused on organizing the engagement. She never tried to come between him and Mahi. He was the one pushing her away. He says he agreed to Rahi’s stubbornness only because he knew how much Anupama loved Mahi. He hoped he might eventually accept Mahi, but when Rahi was in danger, he couldn’t control his emotions. That moment revealed his true feelings.
Suddenly, Ansh loses his temper and starts hitting Prem. Rahi yells for him to stop, but Baa scolds her instead. Toshu joins in and beats up Prem. Rahi rushes to Prem, hugs him tightly, and pleads for them to stop hurting him. She breaks down in tears.
