The episode begins with Anirudh expressing his inner turmoil to Aditya. He says he wishes he could stop Jhanak from going away and that he would have married her already if things weren’t so complicated. But now, he feels the urgency to marry her quickly—more to protect her than anything else. Aditya reassures him that he’ll be there for the wedding and will manage his schedule. Anirudh confesses how troubled he feels. Jhanak doesn’t leave his side, always caring for him despite the constant insults and judgment from others. For the first time, he truly understands what love is—but at the same time, he feels guilt over Arshi. Aditya reminds him that he needs to choose who he wants to spend his life with. Anirudh replies that deep down, they both know the answer, but he still regrets how he treated Arshi.

Just then, Jhanak arrives at the doorway and overhears everything. Anirudh turns and quickly ends the call. Jhanak confronts him—she asks if she ever asked him to do all this for her. Anirudh tries to explain that she doesn’t know the full story. She reminds him that she agreed to stay with him only because he said he wanted to spend his last days with her. She’s helping him recover, but if he feels so guilty about Arshi, then he should call her back. Anirudh denies it’s about that and insists they need to speak to the family about getting married as soon as possible.
Meanwhile, Arshi suddenly feels sick and throws up. Shrishti rushes to check on her, asking if this has happened before. Arshi says it has, though she’s been under a lot of stress lately. Shrishti grows concerned and says they need to see a doctor. Arshi is confused, and Shrishti suggests a pregnancy test. Arshi panics, saying it’s impossible, but the memories of her time with Anirudh flash in her mind. Still, she insists there’s no chance. Shrishti warns her that if there’s even a small possibility, she must be prepared. Arshi breaks down in tears.
Shrishti tells her that if she is pregnant, she’ll have to take full responsibility since Anirudh has moved on and no longer acknowledges their relationship. Arshi doesn’t blame anyone—she thanks her mother for all her support but says she will deal with this on her own. Shrishti asks what she will do if she is actually pregnant. Arshi replies that if she is, it will be her first child, and she will raise it alone.
Elsewhere, Jhanak insists they must go to the doctor. Anirudh is surprised and asks why, but she tells him nothing matters more to her than his life and urges him to fix their wedding date today itself. He agrees. Back with Shrishti and Arshi, Shrishti questions if Arshi really thinks she can take care of the baby all by herself. Arshi says that many women do it and she will too. Shrishti tells her to stop being overly emotional—it’s not going to be easy. Arshi asks if her mother is telling her to abort the child. Shrishti quickly clarifies that she didn’t say that; first, they need to confirm if she’s even pregnant. Arshi remains firm—she will raise the baby alone if she is. Shrishti warns her that it’s going to be incredibly hard. Arshi says Anirudh will understand the pain of loss when he learns that only she has a claim to the baby.
Back at the house, Anirudh tells everyone he wants to marry Jhanak as soon as possible. Tanuja is stunned and tries to remind him that Arshi was supposed to be his bride. Lal lashes out, accusing Anirudh of crossing all limits. Anirudh defends himself, saying his first marriage to Arshi was incomplete and that he never truly considered her his wife. Bablu, usually on Anirudh’s side, says he can’t support him this time and finds his behavior strange. Anjana turns to Jhanak and asks her why there’s such a rush. Jhanak calmly says she wants to marry immediately. Dadi loses her temper and insults her, calling her shameless. Anirudh stands firm beside Jhanak and insists he wants to get married soon—he already considers her his wife in his heart.
Shubh explodes in anger, accusing Jhanak of stealing his son. Jhanak immediately denies it, but Anirudh jumps in, defending her once again. Shubh asks Dadi to look at the kind of son she has raised. Anirudh announces his decision: the wedding will happen on the 21st. Choton happily says he and Mrinalini will attend. Anirudh says he trusts Choton to always support him and that he knows Choton understands he’d never intentionally do wrong. Arguments break out again with Lal and Bipasha opposing the marriage. Bablu is disheartened and refuses to support Jhanak. Choton stops him, but the tension is thick in the air. Jhanak quietly says she’s willing to accept any punishment that comes her way. Dadi snaps at her, declaring she will definitely suffer—that just as she got Anirudh today, she’ll lose him one day too.
Jhanak, for the first time, shouts back at Dadi. The entire room falls silent in shock. Anirudh gently signals her to calm down. Jhanak immediately softens and apologizes, asking Dadi not to say such things. She says Anirudh can never be separated from her. Anirudh looks at her with sorrow and affection, feeling the weight of everything she’s enduring.
