Jhanak On Starlife Monday 23rd June 2025 Written Episode Update
Choton stands firmly in support of Anirudh and Jhanak’s marriage, defending Jhanak in front of the entire family. But Tanuja refuses to accept Jhanak as their daughter-in-law, and Dadi breaks down emotionally, saying she wishes she had died before witnessing such disgrace. Anirudh, however, is unwavering. He declares that the wedding will take place with or without their blessings, and warns everyone not to disrespect Jhanak. He takes her away with him.

Meanwhile, Shrishti arranges for a doctor to examine Arshi, who says she took a pregnancy test at home and it came back positive. Though the doctor is surprised, she begins the check-up. Arshi tells her that she and Anirudh are no longer together. The doctor looks shocked and asks what she means. Mrinalini then questions Jhanak, wondering if Anirudh pressured her into agreeing to the marriage, but Jhanak says it was her own decision. When Choton confronts Mrinalini, she says she feels terrible for Anjana and Bablu. Choton reminds her that if Jhanak hadn’t agreed to marry Anirudh, he wouldn’t have survived. Jhanak nods and says she did it all for him, but Mrinalini urges her not to keep explaining herself.
Back at the clinic, Arshi reflects on how relationships can shatter in just one moment. The doctor, visibly puzzled, asks her to explain, and Shrishti steps in to share everything. Arshi says that Anirudh has chosen someone else now. The doctor advises her to stay calm, take care of her health, and focus on her pregnancy. Arshi agrees and leaves for further tests.
At home, Appu sneaks out to meet Jhanak. Jhimli tries to stop her, accusing her of running away again. Appu screams for Anuradha, insisting Jhanak is coming to meet her and she wants to wait outside. Anuradha gently leads her away and tells her that Lalon has found a job. Appu beams with happiness and decides to ask him herself. Meanwhile, Choton reminds Jhanak that she saved Anirudh’s life at a time when even Arshi left him. She says she acted out of love, though she still feels bad for Arshi. Choton points out that Anirudh had to tell Arshi the truth eventually—that his heart belongs to Jhanak. Mrinalini says that Jhanak and Anirudh must be together.
The doctor gives Shrishti some medical advice, and Shrishti continues to pretend she only wants Arshi’s happiness. Choton then tells Jhanak that she alone must decide her future. Mrinalini also tries to help her understand the situation. Jhanak feels overwhelmed, saying a relationship is ending because of her. She cries, not knowing what to do. Choton tells her to speak to Anirudh directly. Jhanak says she just wants him to stay alive. Arshi returns after the tests, and the doctor confirms that her symptoms indicate pregnancy and reassures her that the baby will be healthy.
Choton tells Jhanak to think about whom she’ll live for if Anirudh succumbs to heartbreak—he’s already made his decision. He wants to see both of them happy together. Jhanak says things will fall into place, and then she’ll quietly leave. Mrinalini is confused and asks what she means, but Jhanak brushes it off and walks away.
Later, Lalon comes home, and Appu runs to him, upset that he didn’t tell her about getting a job. She starts dancing happily, but Lalon admits he hasn’t gotten the job yet—still, meeting her gave him real happiness. Appu blushes, and they share a light moment. Jhimli arrives and congratulates Lalon. He jokes with her, gives Appu chocolates, and promises to take her out to buy sweets. Anuradha then tells Appu that Jhanak had called while she was asleep. Appu excitedly asks to speak with her, and the two talk on the phone, smiling warmly.
Later, Jhanak sits alone, lost in thoughts of Anirudh. Mrinalini notices and urges her to stay strong and happy. She reminds Jhanak that she agreed to the marriage for Anirudh’s sake. Jhanak admits that it’s true. Mrinalini grows concerned, asking if Anirudh coerced her into it. Jhanak hesitates, then says yes, but adds that she promised not to tell anyone what he said. Still, she feels like bursting and wishes she could confide in Mrinalini. Mrinalini encourages her to speak if it helps lighten her burden. Jhanak breaks down, saying she doesn’t want Anirudh to leave her. Mrinalini, shocked, asks what she’s afraid of. Jhanak finally reveals that Anirudh is battling a life-threatening illness.
