Sacred Love On Starlife Monday 23rd June 2025 Written Episode Update
The episode begins with Dadu firmly announcing that Meghla has rejected Ranbir and will never become the daughter-in-law of their family. Ranbir pleads with him not to say that, begging him to understand how much he loves her. But Dadu remains unmoved, reminding him that Meghla doesn’t love him back and asking him to let her go. Just then, Balveer steps in, supporting Ranbir’s feelings. He says that since Ranbir loves Meghla, the family has no right to interfere. He stands by Ranbir’s choice, and assures the elders that the entire family supports his decision. Dadi gently holds Ranbir’s hand, trying to offer some comfort as he looks heartbroken. Meanwhile, Meghla is alone, singing a sad song that reflects her pain. Chandan arrives, and seeing her like this, softly tells her that sometimes it feels like they gave her the wrong name—Meghla, meaning clouds—because sorrow always seems to follow her.

Meghla asks him to speak about anything but Ranbir and his family. But Chandan calmly shares that Ranbir had asked to meet him, and out of curiosity, he went. He admits that Ranbir surprised him—he truly loves Meghla and is willing to wait five whole years just for her. Chandan reveals that after speaking with him, he’s reconsidered his stance and has decided not to stand in their way anymore. Meghla is taken aback and asks what he means. He tells her he’s okay with the marriage. She, however, reacts strongly, saying she’s the one who has a problem with it. She refuses to marry someone who was once set to marry her sister, Adrija.
Back at the Bajwa house, Dadu finally gives in, saying he’s lost this battle. Ranbir, filled with hope, insists that Meghla will eventually say yes. Harman jokes that if not, Ranbir will end up marrying a Punjabi girl. Dadu agrees with the idea, warning that no man from the Bajwa family will tolerate such humiliation. But Ranbir doesn’t waver. He says he knows Meghla—he understood her the moment he met her—and he truly believes he’s made the right choice. Dadu quietly nods, showing that he’s starting to accept his grandson’s decision.
Back with Chandan and Meghla, she tells him again that she doesn’t want to hurt Adrija. She doesn’t want to be the reason her sister suffers. Chandan gently reminds her that everyone needs someone by their side eventually. He can no longer count on Adrija to carry forward their legacy. But Meghla is determined. She says she’s strong and capable of living her life alone. She believes Adrija’s anger will fade once she gets what she wants. But Chandan warns her—Adrija may never forgive her for this, and that hatred might never go away.
Trying to reach her heart, Chandan says that Ranbir has made his decision—he loves her, and no one else. He would never marry Adrija. Meghla is stunned. She says she never thought Ranbir saw her that way. Chandan comforts her, saying no one can control who they fall in love with, and it’s not her fault that Ranbir feels this way. But Meghla still isn’t convinced. She feels she doesn’t belong in Ranbir’s world. She says Adrija is educated, outgoing, and bonds with everyone easily. Meanwhile, she has no degree, and she doesn’t know how to fit in with that kind of family. She says she wouldn’t be able to breathe in a house where Adrija was once meant to be the bride.
Chandan tells her she’s not being dishonest. She’s been upfront with Ranbir and his family, and he’s already spoken to them. Yes, they’re wealthy, but they’re not arrogant. They genuinely care for each other. He has asked Ranbir to give them some time, and he believes Meghla won’t say no in the end. But Meghla can’t stop thinking about Adrija. She says hurting her would be unbearable. Chandan tells her he understands. Adrija is his daughter too, and he knows this is about her pride more than her heart.
Then Meghla quietly mentions a promise she made to her Guruji—that she would never abandon him or her music. Her voice cracks with emotion. Just then, Adrija enters the room and interrupts them. She tells Chandan she needs to speak with him and makes a sarcastic comment about Meghla’s presence. Adrija and Meghla get into a heated argument. She then hands Chandan a set of documents, explaining that she’s applied to a university abroad and needs his signature. Meghla pleads with her not to go, but Adrija snaps at her to stay out of her life.
Seeing no other way forward, Chandan calls Balveer and announces that he’s ready for Meghla to marry Ranbir. Balveer is thrilled, while Meghla stares at her father in disbelief.
