The episode begins with an emotional and dramatic moment as Mahi, Pari, Baa, and the rest of the family step outside the house and find Aadhya standing at the gate. Aadhya sees Dolly and is instantly flooded with memories of everything that happened in the past. Mahi and Pari happily approach Aadhya and introduce themselves. Ansh also steps forward and introduces himself before hugging her. Aadhya is deeply moved and emotional seeing this warm welcome from some family members. Prem, observing the situation, sarcastically wonders why emotional scenes are always so intense.
Then Aadhya spots Ishani. Pari introduces her, and Ishani greets Aadhya with a casual “hi.” Mahi tells Aadhya that she had been praying for her return, while Pari reveals that she had even taken a vow to not eat sweets until Aadhya was found. But just then, Dolly interrupts and says they need to confirm whether this girl is truly Aadhya or not. Aadhya jokes by asking if they think she’s an icchadhari naagin (shape-shifting serpent). Baa then sternly warns her to behave like a human or else she will play the sitar near her ears—implying that she knows how to discipline.

Aadhya then asks Anupama why she came here, saying nothing good ever happens when someone comes to this place. Baa questions Aadhya’s arrival too, and Aadhya responds that she was brought here. Pakhi taunts her for her appearance, saying they should have at least changed her clothes first. Ishani also mocks Aadhya’s outfit. Hurt by their words, Aadhya says that if her presence bothers them so much, she will leave.
Tensions rise as Baa asks if Aadhya has come to stay or to pick a fight. Pakhi complains that Aadhya started arguing as soon as she arrived. Ishani makes another sarcastic comment. Baa declares that Aadhya seems to have done a PhD in misbehaving. Aadhya, visibly angry, says she doesn’t want to stay in the house and prepares to leave. Anupama quickly stops her and asks everyone else to stay quiet. Baa accuses Aadhya of being disrespectful. Pakhi defends her mother, while Toshu accuses Anupama of favoritism, claiming she always chooses Aadhya over others.
Aadhya says her name is Rahi, not Aadhya. Baa taunts her for having so many names. Aadhya fires back, saying they have problems with her clothes, her attitude, and her very existence. Baa says that she should drop her attitude before entering the house. Anupama tries to de-escalate the situation by asking everyone to calm down.
But the tension explodes when Aadhya firmly declares that Anupama is not her mother. Dolly supports this by saying she must not be Aadhya. Anupama tries to explain that Aadhya only said that out of anger, but Aadhya warns her not to forget those words. Just then, Prem gets a call but tries to ignore it. Baa questions who he is. Anupama introduces him and explains that she met Rahi because of him.
Despite all the conflict, Baa finally invites Aadhya inside. Pakhi questions how they can be sure she is their “Choti.” Dolly also doubts her identity. Kinjal says they can’t allow a stranger to live with them without confirmation. Anupama asks Mahi to get the aarti plate ready. But before they can proceed, they hear people outside saying that Anu Ki Rasoi (Anupama’s catering business) has been shut down because it served food that made people sick.
Anupama is shocked and questions Toshu, who explains that the workers went on strike because of Janki’s influence. He admits that he used masalas (spices) from his friend’s factory, which led to the food poisoning. Anupama is furious and confused as to why he didn’t inform her earlier. She scolds him for risking their business and reputation. Aadhya watches all this unfold and thinks to herself that these people haven’t changed at all.
Pakhi mocks Toshu, saying he bought the masalas from outside because he had no money. Prem tries to explain the difference between homemade and factory-made spices, but Ansh cuts him off, saying it’s a family matter. Anupama gently tells Prem that he is also like family now.
Feeling left out and bitter, Toshu and Pakhi complain that Anupama never appreciates them. Baa then blames Aadhya for all the bad things happening since her return. Aadhya becomes upset and says she wants to go back. She gets in the car and tells Ansh to drop her at the bus stand.
Anupama tries to calm her down and explains that Baa has always been like this. Ansh, Mahi, and Pari also try to convince her to stay. Aadhya agrees, but secretly vows to settle old scores. She thinks to herself that she will create so much chaos that Anupama will personally ask her to leave the house again.
Prem, sensing her intentions, says that won’t happen because destiny won’t separate them this time. Anupama welcomes Aadhya again. As Aadhya walks in, she steps on the flower decoration meant for her welcome. Ishani gets annoyed that her 3-hour decoration work has been ruined. Baa sees this as a bad omen and says not every girl brings good luck into a house.
Anupama stops Baa and signals Aadhya to remove her shoes. Aadhya does so, and Anupama performs her aarti and applies tilak on her forehead. Even though she’s welcomed traditionally, Aadhya feels neglected and unloved. She decides to take revenge and make Anupama and the Shahs suffer emotionally before she leaves.
She thinks of ruining the aarti thali out of anger but stops herself when she hears the voice of a cow named Kaveri. She runs to Kaveri and hugs her, then plays with her pet Toffee. Ishani mocks her for sitting near cow dung, but Aadhya fires back, saying it’s full of good bacteria—unlike the harmful chemicals in her makeup.
Pakhi proudly says Aadhya is her daughter. Aadhya enters the house and looks around emotionally. Anupama imagines Anuj and smiles fondly. Meanwhile, Prem says he should leave. Mahi and Anupama offer him tea, but he declines, saying he only came to deliver something and will have tea next time. Aadhya, acting arrogant, throws a coin at him and calls it a tip. Prem catches it and says she insulted the coin, which is why her prayers haven’t been answered. Then he quietly leaves.
Inside, Aadhya sees Baa’s swing and sits on it. Baa scolds her and says it’s hers. Mahi and Ansh try to cheer her up by offering a welcome cake, but Aadhya angrily smashes it and says she hates everything related to the name Aadhya. Pakhi remarks that if they had done that, Anupama would’ve been furious. Dolly compares her to Mahi, saying at least Mahi never wiped her name off a cake.
Aadhya nonchalantly wipes her hands on the new sofa cover. Pakhi gets upset and says they were brand new. Aadhya tells her to wash it in the machine. Pari invites her to the room. Mahi suggests sharing a room, saying it will be fun. But Aadhya refuses and demands a room of her own. Toshu taunts her, asking if she had her own room at the orphanage. Aadhya replies that people there treated her better and never mocked her like this.
Kinjal tells Anupama that they can’t live with such an arrogant girl. Dolly mocks that their house has turned into a zoo. Anupama tells Aadhya to go and freshen up, promising to make food for her.
