Anupama On Starlife Thursday 26th June 2025 Written Episode Update
The episode opens with Khyati’s mother-in-law instructing Anupama to begin the cooking preparations. Her son watches silently, thinking to himself that although he won’t ruin the festive spirit today, he won’t easily forgive whoever damaged his car and disrespected his mother. Khyati, sensing the tension, gently asks her husband to freshen up. Her mother-in-law reminds him that he has to perform the aarti. Anupama observes the family dynamics quietly, her expression thoughtful. Elsewhere, Ansh sits with his laptop, frustrated. He’s on a call with a friend, trying to understand how his game concept got leaked. Just then, Babu ji walks in. Ansh explains that someone stole the idea he’d been working hard on. Babu ji offers some wisdom, suggesting he create a new game. But Ansh recalls Anupama’s words—that they should never give up what is rightfully theirs. Just then, he receives a call from the Kotharis, inviting him to meet Gautam, who is interested in venturing into the gaming business. After ending the call, Ansh excitedly tells Babu ji about it, adding that perhaps the Kotharis might consider him as a potential son-in-law, given the family’s long-standing relationship with his own.

Back at the venue, a servant instructs Anupama and her team to begin cooking in the designated area. Janki Behen and the others arrive. Anupama comments that the Shrinath ji idol looks beautiful. Janki Behen suggests they go and have a closer look, but Anupama politely refuses, reminding her they’ve come there to work. She also quietly reveals that the woman whose car nearly hit Radha was none other than Khyati’s mother-in-law. Rahi is surprised to learn this. Janki Behen comments that the woman doesn’t have much heart. Anupama stays firm and repeats—they are here to do their job, nothing more.
Suddenly, Prarthana appears and calls out to Anupama. Anupama is surprised. “What are you doing here?” she asks. Prarthana replies that this is her home—Parag Kothari is her father. She adds that her mother sent her to check if Anupama and her team needed anything. Anupama remembers their earlier meeting and starts to say something when Gautam walks in. His tone is cold. He scolds Prarthana for not spending time with him, especially when he’s returned home after two weeks. “Spend time with your family instead of the staff,” he snaps. Anupama hears this exchange and quietly realizes that Gautam must be Prarthana’s husband.
Gautam notices the necklace Prarthana is wearing and criticizes her for choosing a simple piece from her mother. “Go wear the diamond one I gave you,” he demands. Both Anupama and Rahi are clearly disturbed by the way he speaks to Prarthana. Anupama, confused, wonders why Prem had claimed he didn’t know Prarthana at all.
Meanwhile, Khyati thanks Parag for bringing her a book by Premchand. She calls him the best husband and teases that he always reads the book after her, because she underlines the best parts. Parag smiles warmly. Just then, his brother Anil and sister-in-law Nita arrive. Parag asks Nita if her sugar levels are under control. She replies that it is, thanks to her bhabhi’s herbal remedy—and also because her father had recommended a doctor from London. Their sons enter next. Parag advises the younger one to start focusing on his career. The boy cheekily asks for money, which Parag gives with a smile. There’s laughter and lightheartedness in the air.
Back at Anupama’s house, Mahi searches for a stitching kit and ends up finding Prem’s wallet. A photo falls out—it’s of Prem and Rahi, with a note scribbled on the back: “I love you, Rahi.” Mahi stares at it, a mix of curiosity and conflict in her eyes, before quietly folding it back and hiding it again.
Everyone gathers for the aarti. Gautam, in a business-as-usual tone, mentions he’s finalized a deal with the Agarwals. Parag gently reminds him that family should always come first. Gautam agrees—“Yes, family first, then work,” he says without much conviction. Prarthana arrives. Parag warmly asks how she is, and she replies that she’s fine. He adds, “You should be more than fine—you should be happy.”
Khyati’s mother-in-law instructs Parag and Khyati to begin the aarti, but Parag instead offers the honor to his mother. She begins singing the bhajan while doing the aarti, followed by the other family members—Parag and Khyati, Anil and Nita, and the rest. When it’s Anupama’s turn, the mother-in-law abruptly stops the flow and turns to her, instructing her to go prepare the food. “If anyone is ill, they shouldn’t be touching the food,” she adds coldly. Rahi can’t hold back. “Did Yashoda Maiyya ever keep Kanha hungry?” she asks pointedly. Anupama quickly stops her, but the damage is done.
The mother-in-law turns to Parag in outrage. “They’re questioning our customs!” she exclaims. Parag defends the family, saying, “Rich people raise questions—these people cause drama.”

Later, Parag tells Gautam to pay Anupama and her team for their services, adding curtly, “But don’t serve their food to me.” Gautam snaps, asking them to leave. Rahi protests, pleading with him not to insult her mother. But Parag is unrelenting. “I can’t tolerate disrespect toward my mother,” he says firmly, and insists they all leave.
