The episode begins with Meher and the rest of the family urging Ranbir to call Meghla. Even the kids join in, excitedly asking to speak with her and calling her beautiful. Ranbir chuckles at their enthusiasm. Meher insists that he dial her right away so they can talk to her. Giving in, Ranbir calls Meghla, who is in the middle of a singing practice session. She notices the call and pauses to answer. “How are you?” he asks gently. But Meghla’s response is sharp. “Is that why you called?” she snaps. Before he can reply, she unleashes her frustration. “You’re forcing me into this marriage—why? What about me? Am I some toy to be passed around? Do my feelings not matter to you at all?”

Ranbir listens silently as her voice trembles with emotion. “I’ve tried so hard to stop this wedding, but no one’s listening—not even you. My father is overjoyed, and maybe I really can’t stop this from happening, but my heart will never accept it.” Her words land heavy. Ranbir is left heartbroken. Back at home, everyone is still eagerly waiting. But on the phone, Meghla doesn’t stop. Her voice breaks as she goes on, “Why did you do this to me, Ranbir? You had no right to humiliate me like this. You don’t even know what my family is going through. You act like none of it matters. Did you ever ask what I want?”
She pauses, then adds bitterly, “You didn’t want to marry Adrija—fine. But why drag me into this? Why did you go behind my back and convince my father? Marriage is supposed to happen when two people say yes. I’m not a possession, Ranbir. I have my own life, my own choices. Why are you doing this to me? What did I ever do to hurt you? Why are you punishing me and my family?” Tears stream down her face as she ends the call. Back at home, Harman and Param look concerned and ask Ranbir what happened. Ranbir lies, saying she’s in the middle of practice and promised to talk later. But he can’t hide the pain in his eyes. Meanwhile, Meghla breaks down in tears.
The next morning, Mahua brings breakfast for Chandan. He immediately starts asking about the budget for Meghla’s wedding. Irritated, Mahua snaps, “Do you have nothing else to think about?” Chandan tries to explain that she had a headache the previous night, so they didn’t get a chance to discuss it. But Mahua brushes him off, saying coldly, “Just do whatever you want,” before walking away. Chandan, feeling helpless, mutters that they’re running out of time.
Back at Meher’s house, the family is still wondering about Meghla. Meher asks if she ever called back. Simran nods slowly, confirming she didn’t. Harman expresses his discomfort with the whole situation. Param adds, “Ranbir looked serious. I think Meghla didn’t even want to talk to him.” Meher asks directly, “Does that mean she doesn’t want to marry Ranbir?” Simran hesitates before saying, “Honestly, it doesn’t look like she’s interested in him at all.” Meher sighs. “Then why is Ranbir chasing after her? This one-sided love isn’t healthy. Poor boy—he’s just unlucky in love.”
Back at Meghla’s home, tensions run high. Mahua and Chandan get into a heated argument. In frustration, Mahua shouts for Adrija and Meghla to come out. Adrija rushes in and asks why she’s yelling, reminding her that she has campus interviews today. “Oh right, you told me,” Mahua mutters, realizing she forgot.
Chandan jumps in, asking which company it is and reminding her she wanted to go abroad. Adrija explains she wants to take up a job first, save some money, and then leave. She glances at Meghla and, sensing tension, leaves the table without another word. Meghla, meanwhile, sees another call from Ranbir and immediately declines it. Watching silently, Adrija grows suspicious—she wonders who keeps calling her sister.
