Saras And Kumud On Starlife Sunday 29th June 2025 Written Episode Update
The episode opens with Kumud, Saras, Kusum, and Kajal at the police station, where Kusum and Kajal are giving their statements. Jugnu and Majnu stand by, watching silently. Meanwhile, one of Sunanda’s spies spots the women and quickly informs Sunanda about what’s happening. Alarmed, Sunanda is shocked to learn that Kusum and Kajal have gone to the police and that Kumud and Saras are supporting them. The inspector then tells Saras that they plan to raid Sunanda’s home based on the girls’ statements. Saras expresses urgency, warning that Sunanda could become a threat to the girls if not caught quickly. As police begin calling around to track Sunanda’s whereabouts, Jugnu receives some information and rushes to tell the inspector where she might be hiding. They reach an old storage room where Sunanda is secretly staying. However, upon searching, the police conclude she has fled the city and leave. Sunanda, hidden in a corner, breathes a sigh of relief—until she sees Kumud and Saras stepping out of the shadows. She’s startled and immediately pleads with Kumud not to turn her over to the police, begging for mercy. She says she’ll never do such work again and asks for forgiveness since Kumud is leaving with her husband and should show some compassion.

As the others arrive, Saras asks the inspector for a few minutes alone with Sunanda. The inspector agrees and steps out. Kumud then confronts Sunanda, asking if she ever felt pity for the innocent girls who begged her for mercy. She says if Sunanda wants any chance of reducing her punishment, she needs to help them now. Sunanda hesitates, but Saras reminds her that cooperating could lessen her sentence. Weighed down by guilt and fear, Sunanda confesses. She recalls a time when Ghuman had brought a young boy and handed him over to Daima. When Daima asked about the child’s identity, Ghuman told her not to ask any questions. She coldly declared that as long as the child lived, her own ambitions would be blocked, so she needed him and the secret hidden forever. In a flashback, we see Daima reluctantly accepting money from Ghuman. But then Menka steps in, stopping Daima from killing the child and offering her double the money to hand the baby over to her instead. Menka tells Daima that some bonds are created by destiny, and that she will take care of the baby. Daima accepts, promising to forget that any child had come to her. Sunanda says she saw it all—but after that, she never saw Menka again and doesn’t know if the child is still alive.
Saras and Kumud demand more—whose child was it? Why did Ghuman want him dead? But Sunanda only knows so much. She reveals that both Menka and Ghuman have been paying her separately to keep quiet. Ghuman also paid her to keep Kumud imprisoned in her home. Sunanda pleads again for mercy, but Saras refuses. He calls the inspector and asks him to arrest her. Sunanda lashes out at Jugnu for betraying her, then glares bitterly at Kusum and Kajal before she’s taken away. Saras, furious, tells Kumud he never considered Ghuman a mother—and now, he doesn’t even consider her a woman. He adds that she used fake documents to take over the haveli and vows to make her pay. Kumud calms him and says they need to focus on finding the lost child before confronting Danny.
At the Desai house, Danny arrives to see Ghuman, who welcomes him with a warm smile and says lunch is ready. She gently prods him with questions, asking if he’s okay and if he’s upset because of the drama surrounding Kusum and her family. Ghuman continues weaving her web, saying they never told Danny the truth about the property and that she only wants what is rightfully theirs. Danny listens silently but doesn’t respond. He remembers Kabir’s warning—that Ghuman must not find out the truth yet. So he plays along, saying he’s tired of the whole topic and doesn’t want to discuss it anymore. He lies, saying Kusum and her family are leaving the house anyway, so there’s nothing left to worry about. Ghuman, unaware of his real thoughts, agrees and tells him to rest while she fetches his medicines.
Later, Kajal and Kusum hug Kumud, who thanks them for their bravery. She calls them her sisters and says now she has two Kusums in her life. Jugnu, ashamed, apologizes and says he wishes he had realized the truth sooner—he never meant to pursue someone else’s wife. Majnu adds that Saras and Kumud have already forgiven Jugnu. Kumud then asks the girls about their plans, and Kajal says they’ll finally return to their home after a long time. Before parting, Saras gives his business card to Jugnu and Majnu, offering them jobs at their factory in Ratnagiri whenever they want. Majnu is grateful and thanks him.
At the Desai house, Badimaa is anxious and wonders if Saras and Kumud are safe. She finally receives a call from Saras, who tells her they’re on their way back. Kumud gets emotional while speaking to Badimaa, and soon Kusum, Vidyachatur, and Guniyal take turns talking to her. Everyone is relieved to know Kumud is safe and heading home. Saras assures them they’ll reach by morning. Kumud, overwhelmed with emotion, hugs him tightly.
Badimaa tells everyone they should prepare to welcome Kumud and Saras properly, but Yash’s mother reminds her that they’re still supposed to vacate the haveli. Badimaa stays firm, saying they’ll discuss that later—right now, the homecoming is the priority.
As dawn breaks, Menka is seen speaking to Kabir. She questions his motives, saying she doesn’t understand his game. Kabir tells her that Ghuman believes she has the real property papers and fully trusts him, but in reality, he has already handed over the genuine documents to Danny. He says he has no personal vendetta against the Desai family—his only enemy is Ghuman, and she will be punished. Menka smiles and says that with her job done, she’s planning to return to Dubai and claim everything Ghuman owns. Unbeknownst to them, someone is eavesdropping on their conversation.

Danny reveals to Saras that Kabir had taken the papers. Kabir pleads with the family, saying everything he’s done has been for their sake and asks for their trust. Kumud begins to wonder if this could be another one of Ghuman’s manipulations.
