Saras And Kumud On Starlife Tuesday 1st July 2025 Written Episode Update
The episode begins with Saras silently admiring Kumud. When he finally speaks, he tells her she’s looking incredibly beautiful. With emotion in his voice, he asks her never to leave him as long as he’s alive. Overwhelmed, he pulls her into a tight embrace, promising that they won’t ever be separated again. Kumud begins to cry. Saras notices and asks if something is troubling her. She hesitates for a moment before bringing up Kabir. Saras admits that Kabir’s actions have been confusing, and Kumud quickly reveals all the disturbing information she’s uncovered.

Kumud explains that Kabir was behind the drug case in which Danny got implicated—he staged the entire thing, even orchestrated Danny’s release. She shares how Kabir managed to bring that man to the police station as part of the act and how she caught him secretly meeting Menka, even though they pretend not to know each other at home. Saras is stunned and asks why she never told him before. Kumud says no one would have believed her. Saras wonders aloud why Kabir would help them if he’s hiding so much, but Kumud says she doesn’t know—nothing makes sense.
Elsewhere, Kabir arrives to meet Ghuman, telling her that their dream life is about to begin—just the two of them. She claims she’s excited, though her expression reveals unease. Kabir cheerfully urges her to pack quickly while he finishes up some work. On his way out, he bumps into Menka and casually hands her some official papers, playing it off as a work errand. Ghuman watches closely, her eyes narrowing with suspicion. After Kabir leaves, Menka steps in and greets Ghuman. Ghuman puts on a polite front and asks her what she thinks of Kabir. Menka tries to brush it off, saying she doesn’t know him well—he’s Ghuman’s friend, after all. Ghuman presses further, revealing she really likes him. Menka changes the subject, saying she’s heading back to Dubai since she has no reason to stay. Ghuman is surprised but covers it up, offering to make tea as a farewell gesture.
As Ghuman goes to prepare the tea, she notices something alarming on Menka’s phone. Though she doesn’t show it immediately, she’s clearly furious inside.
Meanwhile, at the Desai household, Yash asks Vidyachatur about Saras and Kumud. Danny hugs Yash warmly, and Vidyachatur assures them the couple returned safely that morning. Yash expresses how worried he had been. Then, in an unexpected moment, Yash’s mother brings up the haveli papers and happily suggests transferring the property to Yash’s name. Everyone is stunned. Yash immediately objects, scolding his mother for her selfish thinking. He reminds her that they are a family and should not be divided by property. His outburst earns him a stern scolding from Vidyachatur, who reminds Yash to speak respectfully to his mother. Still, Vidyachatur firmly tells her that Saras and Danny stood against Ghuman—they wouldn’t betray the family. He assures her that when the right time comes, he will give everything to Yash. Yash’s mother is placated by his promise and walks away, satisfied.
Kalika, who has been eavesdropping, scoffs at the drama. She reminds herself of her own deceit—how she stole the jewelry and gambled with it. Smirking, she decides she’ll shift the blame onto someone else. She grabs the jewelry from her hiding spot and sneaks into Kusum’s room. Planning to plant it there, she’s startled when Kusum suddenly enters, looking for Danny. Kalika hides under the bed as Kusum walks around the room. Kusum bends down to pick up a fallen towel but doesn’t notice Kalika hiding underneath. Once Kusum leaves, Kalika breathes a sigh of relief.
She then sneaks into Yash’s mother’s room and pretends to be her, continuing her web of manipulation. Meanwhile, Kusum finds Danny and tries to comfort him. She asks him to open up about his feelings. Danny, tearfully, confesses how much he loved and trusted his mother, Ghuman. Now, he doesn’t understand how to process what she’s done. The pain is too much. Kusum encourages him to find peace, reminding him that Ghuman is still his mother. Danny breaks down, questioning how she can defend Ghuman after everything she did, even to Kusum. He sobs in her arms.
At Ghuman’s house, Menka notices her phone missing and panics, suspecting Ghuman might have seen something. Ghuman returns with tea and begins making sharp, veiled comments. The atmosphere grows tense as Menka realizes the situation may be spiraling out of control.
