The episode opens with Balveer expressing concern over Ranbir’s silence—he hasn’t called back. Meher, visibly anxious, prays for Ranbir’s safety. Zoravar tries to calm her and discourages negative thoughts. Harman suggests calling Meghla, and Meher agrees. When Zoravar asks who Meghla is, Simran answers bluntly: the girl Ranbir has chosen. Zoravar scoffs, blaming Meghla for Ranbir’s state, calling her unworthy and uneducated. Simran tries to be rational, saying perhaps Ranbir’s mood was affected by something Meghla said. Zoravar remains cynical. Meanwhile, Param calls Chandan in a panic. He informs him that Ranbir never arrived at the award ceremony and is unreachable. He asks if Ranbir came to their house. Chandan confirms that Ranbir did visit Meghla but left two hours ago. Param then speaks to Meghla, who confirms Ranbir’s visit and departure, but admits she hasn’t heard from him since. When Zoravar questions why she met him, Meghla says she didn’t call him—he came on his own. She urges Param to inform her if they hear anything. After the call ends, Meghla becomes visibly worried.

Back at Ranbir’s home, Meher pleads with Harman to find out what’s going on. Tensions rise as Zoravar fumes. Just then, Simran gets a call—she assumes it’s from Ranbir, but it’s an inspector. The officer informs her of Ranbir’s accident and says he’s sustained serious injuries. Everyone is shaken. Meher breaks down, demanding answers, but Harman tries to keep her calm. Simran relays the message, and the family immediately rushes to the hospital.
Chandan gets word of the accident and is alarmed. Mahua and Adrija are stunned. Mahua fears the worst and worries about their family being dragged into the situation since Meghla was the last person to meet Ranbir. Adrija accuses Meghla of ruining Ranbir’s life and declares that she should be arrested. Meghla insists that she never wanted any of this to happen. Chandan defends Meghla, pointing out that she didn’t even call Ranbir—he came on his own.
Meghla is left reeling, crying over the thought of Ranbir injured. Chandan suggests they go to the hospital. Adrija insists on coming too, determined to be part of what happens next. Mahua tells them to be careful and silently prays for Ranbir’s recovery. Still upset, Adrija throws another harsh look at Meghla before leaving.
Later, Mahua finds Meghla crying and asks her to come for dinner. Meghla refuses to eat. Mahua scolds her, saying she’s acting irresponsibly and might get caught in legal trouble since she was the last to see Ranbir. She harshly asks why Meghla cares so much if she claimed she didn’t want to marry him. Mahua suspects Adrija may have been right—there is emotional attachment. Meghla insists it’s not like that. But Mahua presses her—if she’s not in love, then why is she so hurt? Meghla doesn’t know how to answer, tears in her eyes, unsure of what her feelings truly are.
