Saras And Kumud On Starlife Friday 4th July 2025 Written Episode Update
Yash tells his mother that he’s looking for a special gift for Danny and Saras. She doesn’t seem impressed and reminds him that they didn’t give him anything on his wedding. But Yash shrugs it off, saying his wedding didn’t turn out well anyway, and besides, Saras did so much for him. His mother scolds him, warning that if he keeps thinking like this, he’ll always be beneath them. She tells him straight that one day he’ll be the one begging for help from Saras and Danny. But Yash remains calm and says they treat him like a brother. She continues to complain, clearly not fond of the closeness he shares with them. Meanwhile, Badimaa is lost in her own troubling thoughts about Ghuman and Menka. So distracted, she ends up falling on the road. A man sees her fall and quickly comes to help. He offers to drop her home, but she politely refuses and thanks him before walking away on her own. Back at home, Yash suggests a thoughtful gift to Vidyachatur—he thinks they should give the brothers a photo frame. As they start discussing the idea, Danny overhears the conversation. He catches on to what they’re planning and laughs to himself, now aware of the surprise. Yash pulls out a few photos to show Vidyachatur. Kusum sees this and says she’ll go ask Kumud if she likes the idea too, but Vidyachatur stops her, wanting to keep it a surprise for everyone.

Later, Danny places a picture of himself and Saras inside a diary and calls Kusum to help him find a contact number in it. When she flips through the pages, she stumbles upon the photo and smiles. She asks him where he had been hiding it all this time. He just grins and drinks the water she brought. She reads the number and hands the diary back to him. As she walks away, Danny smiles, already planning something sweet. Later, Kusum returns to her room and finds a small gift waiting for her. She opens it to find a maang tika, along with a note telling her to wear it and check the cupboard. She follows the instructions, smiling all the while, and opens the cupboard to find another gift inside. This one contains a pair of earrings and another note asking her to wear them and head to the table. Giddy with excitement, she wears the earrings and goes there, only to find yet another surprise. This time, it’s a necklace with a note. One by one, Danny has arranged a trail of gifts—bangles, anklets—all accompanied by notes leading her across the house. Finally, she reaches the window where Danny appears and holds up a mirror, playfully asking her who the beautiful girl in the reflection is. She teases him back, asking him to say it himself. He replies, “Mrs. Danny.” She laughs and then asks him how he’s suddenly turned so romantic—after all, he’d been hesitant to say “I love you” before. He says this was the real surprise and asks her to come closer. As she does, he gently kisses her, and they share a warm moment, gazing into each other’s eyes.
Meanwhile, Kabir locks his room and quietly gets ready to leave Desai house. Danny sees him and asks where he’s going. Kabir replies that he has some work in the city and will be gone for a few days. Danny takes the opportunity to bring up their mother. He says Saras told him not to speak to Ghuman, but the guilt is weighing on him. He admits he feels cornered because the family is treating him like he’s responsible for Ghuman’s actions, and it’s hard to bear.
Kabir listens thoughtfully and wonders how someone as sensitive as Danny could be Ghuman’s son. Danny asks him when he’ll finally be able to talk to his mother. Kabir tells him to wait a little longer and promises that everything will become clear soon. He warns Danny not to let Ghuman find out anything for now. Then he points out how lucky Danny is—to have a wife like Kusum, a brother like Saras, and to be part of the Desai family. Danny watches him go, puzzled by how hard Kabir is to read.
At the same time, Vidyachatur talks to Guniyal about the gift. He asks if she thinks Saras and Danny will like it. She says they will, but she’s more concerned about Badimaa—something seems off about her lately. Yash comes in and asks for Kumud and Saras. Guniyal tells him they’ve gone to Kumud’s school.
They all see Kabir getting ready to leave and try to stop him. Kabir, overwhelmed, thanks them for the love they’ve shown him. Vidyachatur says it’s only fair—they supported each other in tough times. But Kabir asks why they never questioned why he helped them in the first place. Vidyachatur replies that they trusted him, and Danny agrees, saying they don’t know everything about Kabir’s motives, but they trust him not to harm the family. Kabir smiles, says goodbye, and promises to return.
Just then, Danny gets a call from Gupta about something at the factory and decides to leave right away. Meanwhile, Kalika is at home, stressing about money. She opens her bag and imagines finding a stack of cash inside. She hugs it with joy, but snaps back to reality—it was all in her head. Yash walks in and asks if they’re going somewhere. She snaps at him, angry and frustrated. He tells her he’s doing his best, working hard for their future, and asks her to give him time. But Kalika loses her temper. She lashes out, comparing him to Danny and saying she regrets marrying him. Yash is heartbroken and walks away silently.
Kalika instantly realizes her mistake. She sits down and mutters to herself that she shouldn’t have spoken to Yash like that. She admits that Yash is her only real support, and now she’s ruined everything.
Somewhere else, Kumud keeps trying to reach Menka, but Menka avoids her calls. Alone, Menka smiles to herself as she finally gets her hands on a ticket to Dubai. She’s been waiting for this day and plans to leave with everything she’s taken. She smirks and says to herself that this is the endgame for Ghuman. Just then, Kabir calls her. He tells her he’s taking Ghuman to London, and this time, she won’t be coming back.
