Saras and Kumud On Starlife Monday 7t July 2025 Written Episode Update
The episode begins with Badimaa visiting nurse Sarla to uncover the truth about a baby born 21 years ago. She tells Sarla that the child’s mother is no longer alive, and only she can help now. Sarla finally agrees and invites her in to check the hospital files. Meanwhile, Saras and Kumud are searching for Kabir. They’ve already checked the bus stops and haven’t found him, so Saras suggests they look in local lodges. They stop at one where the receptionist, recognizing Kumud as Vidyachatur’s daughter, agrees to help. Back at the hospital, Sarla informs Badimaa that the 1993 files are not readily available. Still, she lets her search again. Badimaa sifts through the documents and eventually finds a torn page that holds critical information. Sarla remembers that Janki Devi gave birth to a stillborn child that day—she recalls it clearly because her own mother shared the same name. Sarla reveals that the couple left their baby’s body at the hospital and went away. Badimaa connects the dots. She realizes Saraswati’s records were swapped, and it was Saraswati who had given birth to a healthy baby—her son. Ghuman must have orchestrated the switch, giving the baby to Daima to be killed so she could marry Laxminandan. The baby was Saras’s younger brother.

Overwhelmed, Badimaa calls Saras and shares everything she has learned. Saras is stunned. When Kumud gently calls his name, he breaks down, saying he won’t spare Ghuman. Kumud tries to calm him, reminding him that they must stay focused and get answers first—why Ghuman did this, where the baby is now—then they can make her pay. Badimaa returns home, deep in thought. She opens an old trunk filled with baby clothes and toys that Saraswati had lovingly bought in anticipation of her child. Tears stream down Badimaa’s face as she remembers Saraswati’s joy and hopes. Guniyal finds her and gently asks what’s wrong. She sees the baby things and recalls how Saraswati used to say Saras would have a brother to play with. Guniyal shares that Laxminandan had rushed to the house upon hearing of the baby’s death, but Vidyachatur calmed him down. When she asks why Badimaa is thinking about all this now, Badimaa quietly says the baby was never dead—he was born, and it all happened the way God intended. Sitting with Kumud, Saras reflects on his mother and how painful it must have been for her to believe her baby was dead. He blames Ghuman entirely—for her greed, for killing his brother to marry his father. He’s full of rage. Kumud gently urges him to wait until they speak to Menka. Saras, reeling from the revelation that he had a brother, nods. Kumud holds his hand and tells him to have faith.
Elsewhere, Badimaa lights a diya and prays for Kumud and Saras. She hopes they find Menka and the answers they need. If Saraswati’s son is alive, Saras deserves to meet him. She asks for that blessing.
Later, Saras gets a call from the lodge receptionist, who says that Menka seems to have left the city. Saras tells Badimaa that they checked everywhere and came up empty. He begins to believe Menka may not be in Ratnagiri at all. Badimaa tells him to come home so they can plan their next steps together. Saras and Kumud return home, but Saras is deeply disturbed. Badimaa speaks to him again, saying she believes this truth has come out now because God wants him to meet his brother. She encourages him not to give up hope. Saras shares his fear—what if something has already happened to him? But Badimaa assures him the boy will be safe. Kumud offers him a hopeful smile.
The next morning, Ghuman is busy packing her bags. She calls Danny and asks where he is. Danny, speaking from the Desai house, lies that he’s been at the factory. Ghuman accuses him of avoiding her, noting she didn’t even see him the day before. Danny brushes it off, saying he was just busy. Ghuman tells him she’s leaving town for some important work and hangs up. Alone, she mutters that Kabir must have already left for the airport and decides it’s time for her to go as well.
