Saras And Kumud On Starlife Tuesday 8th July 2025 Written Episode Update
The episode begins with Saras and Kumud praying together, soon joined by others. Saras speaks to God from the heart, confessing that he’s always complained about losing the people he loves. He pleads this time to be different—that he be reunited with his brother and that his family be whole again. Kumud silently wishes that though her love couldn’t heal Saras’s wounds over his mother, perhaps finding his brother will bring him the happiness he deserves. Badimaa’s prayer is simple: that they uncover the truth. Danny, meanwhile, doesn’t know exactly what Saras and Kumud are dealing with but asks for divine help for them. At that moment, Ghuman is seen leaving the house with her suitcase. Danny returns and finds the house unusually quiet. He calls out but gets no response. Wondering what’s going on, he enters Menka’s room and finds her wardrobe completely emptied. As he searches around, he spots a passport lying forgotten. Realizing Menka must have left it behind, he figures she’ll be back for it.

Meanwhile, Menka is at a small lodge, feeling smug. She plans to let Kabir handle Ghuman and board her own flight to Dubai, ready to claim everything that belongs to Ghuman for herself. But her confidence is shattered when she looks through her belongings and discovers her passport is missing. Panicking, she recalls dropping a few items at home and fears the passport was left behind. Frustrated, she knows she must go back to retrieve it. Menka quickly calls Danny and asks him to check if her passport is in her room. Danny confirms that he found it earlier and had even tried calling her. She asks him to meet her in the market to hand it over, but Danny tells her he’s expecting a client at home and asks her to come there instead. She agrees. Elsewhere, Saras and Kumud are busy trying to locate Menka through hotel listings. Just then, Danny calls to say Menka is on her way home to collect the passport. Hearing this, Saras is relieved and tells Kumud to hurry, as this might be their only chance to confront her. When Menka arrives, she calls out for Danny, only to be met by Saras and Kumud. They inform her that Danny had to step out and that they have what she’s come for. Menka, eager to leave, asks for her passport. Kumud questions why she ignored her calls, and Menka claims she was too busy to respond. She reaches for the passport, but Saras pulls it back, saying she’ll need to answer a few questions first.
Menka, suspicious and uneasy, suggests they talk in Dubai instead. Saras makes it clear that they’re not letting her go without answers and even threatens to involve the police. Pressed for time, Menka urges them to hurry up. Saras calmly brings up the year 1993. Menka immediately tenses and pretends not to understand, but Saras insists she knows exactly what he means. Kumud then reveals what they’ve learned—that Saras’s mother gave birth to a healthy baby, and someone switched the child with a dead infant. That switch led to her being wrongly blamed, and Laxminandan turning away from her. Sunanda told them everything, including the fact that Menka and her sister paid her regularly to keep the truth hidden. Menka dismisses it all as lies, but Saras tells her to drop the act. He warns that if she doesn’t speak up, he’ll go straight to Ghuman. He reminds her of the deep bond between her and Ghuman and says if Ghuman finds out she was betrayed, the consequences will be severe.
Menka stays defiant, demanding her passport. Kumud intervenes, pleading with her. She says they don’t know why Menka kept the baby, but that boy is Saras’s brother—and now his life is in danger. The mention of danger finally shakes Menka. She breaks down and says, “Kabir.” Both Saras and Kumud are stunned. She begs them to save him.
At the same time, Kabir meets Ghuman, who asks if he’s nervous. He says he’s not—once he sets his mind on something, he doesn’t look back. He offers to drive her, but she insists on using her own car. As they leave, she thanks him, saying she wouldn’t have dared to dream of this moment without him. She says her dream is coming true, but teases that she has a surprise for him, one that will leave him speechless.
Back at home, Saras reels from the news. He says he always felt some strange connection to Kabir and now understands why. He remembers all the moments Kabir was near him, helping in small, unexpected ways. Kumud wonders why Kabir never revealed the truth. Menka, crying, confirms it: Kabir is indeed Saras’s brother and pleads with them to protect him. Kumud asks why Kabir came into their lives pretending to be someone else if he knew the truth. Why the secrecy?
Meanwhile, Ghuman and Kabir continue their drive. He flirts playfully with her, and she enjoys the attention. But suddenly, she pulls the car over. Kabir asks if she’s backing out. Ghuman explains that she can’t board the flight with him now—someone might see them together, and it could cause problems. Desai family trusts her, Danny trusts her, and being seen with Kabir might ruin everything. She says she’ll take a later flight and join him. Though disappointed, Kabir agrees, and she assures him this will be the last time he waits.

Saras confronts Ghuman directly about Kabir. Ghuman looks him in the eye and confirms: his brother is alive. Saras and Kumud are left stunned.
