Jhanak On Starlife Wednesday 9th July 2025 Writte Episode Update
The episode opens with Vihaan expressing concern about Jhanak, pointing out that they barely know anything about her. Akshat tries to reassure him, saying she seems to come from a respectable background. Vihaan still worries her husband might show up and create trouble, but he thanks Akshat for managing the situation. Akshat tells him he can’t bring Avni back, but he can try to ease Vihaan’s burdens in the meantime. Elsewhere, tension brews in Vihaan’s family. Ketki scolds Prachi, and Sejal defends her, saying she was only asking a question. Babuji insists Prachi will eat whatever is made, but Ketki demands control. A separate argument unfolds as Anirudh stands up for Bablu and Anjana, questioning Lal about how much care he has ever shown them. Bablu firmly says he wants nothing from Lal, and that Lalon has the right to set house rules. He adds that some people in the house need to be humbled. Bipasha snaps back, saying if she had known this house didn’t belong to Lal, she would have never married him. Lalon angrily tells her to leave the marriage and the house if she can’t follow the rules. Until then, she and Tanuja must abide by them. He reminds Lal of how their mother carried the weight of the household her entire life. When Anjana tries to calm him down, Lalon asks if she feels sorry for herself, but she insists she’s just supporting his decision and offers to help. Lalon stops her, saying it’s now up to Tanuja and Bipasha. Appu chimes in sweetly, asking only for love, then teasingly orders Bipasha to fetch water. Choton watches with a grin.

Meanwhile, Jhanak gets ready with Sarika’s help. Sarika asks if she’s married. Jhanak hesitates, flashes back to her wedding with Anirudh, then quietly admits she is. Sarika picks up on her discomfort and asks if she’s angry with her husband. Jhanak pleads not to be questioned further. Sarika offers her food and promises to visit her again. Jhanak asks her to keep that promise. Elsewhere, Hitesh and Bhavesh talk to the kids about how Ketki’s anger will vanish once she meets Vihaan and his son. They agree Vihaan was her favorite and hope seeing him will soften her. Back in the kitchen, Appu stops Anjana from making tea and tells Tanuja to do it. Tanuja gets flustered as she struggles with the gas stove, spilling the tea. Appu insists she clean up the mess, but Tanuja complains that her nails will be ruined. Anjana tries to step in, but Lalon tells her to rest. Anjana notes that Tanuja has never done kitchen work before. Choton encourages them to let her learn, while Bablu feels it’s unfair to make her struggle like this. Eventually, Tanuja brings out the tea, and just then, Lalon receives a call and hands over responsibility to Choton before leaving.
Sarika tries once again to talk to Jhanak about her husband, but Jhanak brushes it off. Sarika respects her silence and says that whenever Jhanak is ready, she can talk. She praises Vihaan, saying he’s a good man who loved his late wife Avni deeply and has been living solely for their child ever since she left. She adds that Vihaan became distant from his family because they never accepted Avni. Jhanak asks if Vihaan plans to stay or return. Sarika isn’t sure but thinks he just came to drop off the baby.
At the same time, Ketki gossips with the neighbors. Prisha mentions welcoming the new daughter-in-law, but Ketki sharply scolds her. Bipasha complains to Lal that Tanuja is being forced to work, and he retorts that she herself does nothing. Just then, Choton announces the guests have arrived and starts singing to welcome them. He and Bablu joke around to lighten the mood. Bipasha scolds Appu for making Tanuja work, but Appu fires back, telling Bipasha to help her friend if she cares so much. Choton challenges both women to support Tanuja if they really want to help.
Vihaan’s father speaks with friends, confident that Ketki’s anger will melt once she sees her beloved son. Sarika continues chatting with Jhanak, who sadly says no one can ease her pain. When asked about her family, Jhanak reveals that she has no one left. Sarika comforts her gently and again urges her to eat something.
Later, Akshat and Vihaan arrive. Sarika excitedly asks how Jhanak looks. Akshat plays along, saying they seem like the perfect little family. But he tells Vihaan this is all just a charade—they’re the only ones who know the truth. Vihaan nods and says they should go. Meanwhile, Ketki scolds her granddaughter Priyanshi for wanting to visit Rani’s house, further showing her controlling nature.
While driving, Vihaan reflects on his guilt. He feels uneasy about giving Avni’s identity to someone else, but tells himself that he’s doing it all for Ahaan. Akshat brings up Vihaan’s old friend from Kolkata, who used to work in IT. Vihaan says he couldn’t meet him the last time he visited, but plans to now. Overhearing this, Jhanak wonders if he’s referring to Anirudh. She quietly sends up a prayer.

Jhanak asks Vihaan directly about Anirudh. Vihaan says he has a special friend who lives in Bhavanipur and invites her to come for her mu dikhai. He reveals that his friend’s name is Anirudh.
