The episode begins with a tense argument between Arshi and Anirudh. Arshi sharply tells him that she believes he regrets not marrying the woman he truly loves. Her words sting, and she goes on to complain about Lalon’s growing control in the household. Anirudh, attempting to soothe her, reminds her that Lalon won’t trouble her—he’s aware of her pregnancy. But Arshi doesn’t ease up and threatens that she’ll take a drastic step if Anirudh or anyone else tries to impose anything on her. As he watches her leave, Anirudh silently wonders when he’ll ever find peace. Elsewhere, Choton lightens the mood by singing Dost Dost Na Raha and teasing Tanuja for not getting help from Bipasha. Lal quietly takes Bipasha aside, leaving Tanuja to handle things alone. Appu mocks Tanuja for trusting the wrong people and demands tea. When Tanuja serves it, Appu finds it cold and tells her to remake it along with breakfast. Tanuja, overwhelmed, begins to cry. Choton playfully defends Appu’s antics, asking Tanuja to make ginger tea. Though Anjana tries to intervene and defend Tanuja, Choton insists Appu be allowed to run the household her way.

Meanwhile, Ketki continues her usual arguments with her husband and then turns her anger on Prachi. Prachi and Sejal, however, are preoccupied planning a warm welcome for Avni, whom they intend to shower with love—but also responsibilities. Ketki instructs them to make first rasoi to bring prosperity to the family. Prachi cleverly tells her that Vihaan loves the food Ketki makes and insists only her hands carry that magic, hoping this would soften her mood. Their neighbor agrees. Back at another home, Shrishti is alarmed to learn from Aditya that Jhanak has gone missing. Vinayak mocks her distress, claiming this disappearance actually helps her. He reminds Shrishti that if Jhanak were around, the court might have declared her as her legal mother—which could have caused scandal. He doesn’t hold back and accuses her of having a criminal mind. Shrishti insists she’s worried about Arshi, predicting Anirudh will again go searching for Jhanak, just like before. Vinayak decides to check on things himself and calls Arshi, asking about Anirudh. She lies, saying he’s home. He tells her to alert him if Anirudh mentions anything about going to Mumbai—finding Jhanak, he says, is his duty now, because she’s Shrishti’s daughter and has suffered enough injustice. He hangs up, throws a harsh glance at Shrishti, and leaves.
Over at Ketki’s home, her fury over Vihaan marrying Avni still burns. The family gently tries to reason with her, but she’s deeply bitter. She didn’t even attend the wedding, and now she’s angry that Vihaan is bringing Avni and her child home. To her, it’s not a small matter—it feels like betrayal. One of the women tells her that her anger will melt when she meets her grandchild. But Ketki refuses to be pacified, fearing Avni will destroy their family’s peace. Her husband urges her to give the girl a fair chance, at least meet her once and decide for herself.
Just then, Priyanshi announces that Vihaan is about to arrive. Despite everything, Ketki’s emotions overwhelm her. She grabs the aarti plate and hurries to the door. Vihaan enters, and with tears in his eyes, hugs his parents. They embrace him back, crying. Vihaan apologizes to his mother, but Ketki brushes him aside—she’s eager to meet her grandson first. Sarika steps forward with Jhanak, who is carrying baby Ahaan. The sight brings smiles to everyone’s faces—except Ketki, who stiffens in anger the moment she sees Jhanak.

Jhanak gently asks Vihaan if he knows anything about Anirudh. He replies that he has a very special friend who lives in Bhavanipur. He then invites her to come attend her Mu dikhai, adding that his friend’s name is Anirudh.
