
Anupama On Starlife Thursday 10th July 2025 Written Episode Update
The episode begins with Anupama asking Rahi to cover her head as she prepares to perform the aarti. Rahi obeys and sings a devotional bhajan while doing the rituals. Prem joins her, helping with the aarti, and soon everyone follows, singing along. Afterward, Prem asks Anupama to do the aarti herself. She happily joins Rahi, and as they finish, Anupama exclaims “Shrinath ji ki Jai,” echoed by everyone present. Prem praises Anupama, calling her a Devi, and asks her to light incense throughout the house to spread positivity. Parag points out that only family members should do this, and Anupama agrees, commending him for giving them a chance to perform the puja. She insists only family members have this right and asks Parag to light incense in the house. Prem takes the responsibility, which makes Moti Baa happy. Kinjal notices a necklace and asks about it. Mita explains these are award-winning unique designs. Gautam adds that the diamonds are rare and precious. Toshu inquires about the price, and Gautam casually reveals it’s worth 10 crores, which shocks Baa. Pakhi asks if they can see the necklace, and Parag agrees but warns them not to touch the display cabinet since it has laser and tampering alarms.

They all go to admire the jewelry. Pakhi tells Ishani to chase Raja before Mahi does and remarks that people usually cry after marriage, but it’s better to cry in a palace than a hut. Rahi pulls Prem aside and whispers that he looked so cute while lighting incense that she almost wanted to kiss him. Prem smiles warmly, and Rahi walks away. Prem quietly apologizes to Shrinath ji for not coming earlier and wonders if the deity wanted to call him today. Anupama asks where the kids are, and Khyati says they’re with Raja exploring the house. Moti Baa announces they’ll eat only after taking the prasad. A servant informs them that Nirmala ji has come, but Moti Baa says she’s busy and doesn’t want to meet people who support divorce. She criticizes the younger generation for taking divorce lightly. Parag adds that even after many years of marriage, some people choose divorce. Toshu remarks that even his mother took a divorce, and Baa scolds him for speaking out of turn. Prem tries to stand, but Anil stops him gently. Khyati calls everyone to eat, saying the food is ready. Anupama apologizes to Parag and Moti Baa, explaining Toshu’s bluntness. They reassure her and invite her to join the meal. Prem sits in Parag’s chair, but Moti Baa tells him to move. Gautam jokes he’s never sat there before, and Prem teases if the chair might shock him. Babu ji calls Prem over, and Anupama invites Moti Baa to sit. Moti Baa insists that in their house, ladies eat later, but Anupama counters that in their home, elders eat first. Moti Baa retorts that this is her house and asks Anupama to sit. Khyati and Mita bring the food, and Moti Baa serves everyone, urging them to eat.
Parag proudly mentions that the milk, curd, and ghee come from their own farm and are pure and pesticide-free. Toshu and Pakhi delight in the sweets. Anupama compliments the delicious food, and Khyati credits Moti Baa for making it herself. Mita shares that Moti Baa woke up at 3:30 am to prepare the meal. Moti Baa adds that when she cooks, she doesn’t allow anyone into the kitchen and usually Khyati and Mita prepare the food. She firmly believes that a woman should manage the home, but Rahi insists women should also be independent.
Moti Baa mentions that Khyati used to work in an office but stopped after marriage. After lunch, Moti Baa surprises everyone by gifting each a handbag containing mouth fresheners. Anupama finds hers heavy, and Parag reveals there’s a small gift inside. Anupama opens it to find a gold coin but initially refuses it. Everyone is surprised at receiving such precious gifts. Prem also declines, but Moti Baa reminds them they never refuse when she gives gifts to their friends. Parag asks Babu ji to accept it to keep their respect, so Anupama finally accepts. Moti Baa praises Prem’s choice, happy that Rahi knows how to perform the aarti properly. She asks Mita to bring a special tray she had told everyone not to touch. Moti Baa covers Rahi’s head with a bridal dupatta and gives her a necklace and other traditional gifts as shagun. Rahi is surprised. Moti Baa blesses her to marry soon and become Rahi Prem Kothari, welcoming her into the family as their own. Everyone is pleased with Prem’s choice, but Rahi is visibly shocked.
Suddenly, as Rahi stands up, the chunari slips from her head. She apologizes to Moti Baa but says she cannot marry now. The room falls silent in shock.

Rahi tells everyone she wants to do something first before marriage. She shares that, like her mother taught her, she wishes to be independent even if the family is wealthy. Prem asks Moti Baa to understand her. Moti Baa replies sharply, questioning what there is to understand, telling Anupama that such ideas might work on her but not on them. Anupama counters that if you insult your in-laws, the relationship can never work.
