Jhanak On Starlife Saturday 12 July 2025 Written Episode Update
Sejal starts questioning Jhanak about her siblings, but Jhanak finds it hard to answer. Prachi then shifts the conversation to Jhanak’s education, and Jhanak shyly admits that she only studied a little. Just then, Vihaan’s sister Mehek arrives and is delighted to see Jhanak. She compliments her warmly. Prachi asks Mehek about her husband, and Mehek replies that he’s talking downstairs. She then introduces herself properly to Jhanak. Meanwhile, Laal and Bipasha return home. Choton sarcastically remarks that they’re just getting back from a breakfast party, showing no concern for the rest of the family. Tanuja orders Bipasha to prepare breakfast, while Shubhankar tells Laal to go to the market. Laal complains that he doesn’t know how to shop and recounts how he accidentally hit a vendor’s cart with his car earlier. The vendor demanded an apology, but Laal didn’t apologize since it was an accident, which left the vendor furious.

At home, Ketki hands baby Ahaan to Jhanak and bluntly tells her that if she wants to stay in the house, she must follow the rules. She explains that Prachi does all the cooking with Sejal’s help, but from tomorrow onward, Jhanak must cook for everyone. Jhanak agrees without protest. Ketki then announces they’ll do the muh dikhayi ceremony soon and blames Jhanak for ruining everyone’s dreams of Vihaan’s wedding. She complains that Jhanak’s parents didn’t even bother to call. As punishment, she assigns Jhanak to do Gaushala chores from the next day. When Jhanak asks Ketki to teach her how to do it, Ketki lashes out at her. Prachi steps in, explaining that Jhanak has never done such work before. But Ketki stands firm, saying she won’t let Vihaan or Ahaan leave the house, so if Jhanak wants to stay, she has to do her part. Elsewhere, Aniruddh advises Laal to apologize to the vendors and resolve the issue. He reminds everyone that they must respect the house rules if they want to live there. Lalon adds that since they’re living in his section of the house, his rules must be followed. Apu backs him up, saying it’s Lalon’s house now, and everyone must obey. Bipasha gets angry and argues with Apu, claiming she is the only true daughter-in-law of the house. She then demands to know where Arshi is. Lalon tells her Arshi isn’t well, but she’ll help in the future. For now, he instructs Bipasha to go serve food since Apu hasn’t eaten yet.
Mehek urges Ketki to stop scaring Jhanak. Prachi points out that Jhanak hasn’t eaten anything all day. Ketki coldly says she can eat later. Jhanak insists she’s not hungry and doesn’t want to eat. Sejal criticizes her tone, but Mehek tells Sejal to let it go. Ketki orders Mehek to go downstairs and take care of her husband. Meanwhile, Shubhankar asks Laal to come to the market with him. Laal makes excuses, saying he needs to get ready for college but promises to go tomorrow. Shubhankar expresses disappointment, saying he now sees everyone’s true colors. Laal retorts, asking if he should become poor like Shubhankar. He adds that Bablu doesn’t earn enough to support him and Bipasha. Choton offers to go to the market with Shubhankar instead. Anjana gives Choton the shopping bags, but Lalon snatches them away and hands them directly to Shubhankar.
Later, Dr. Sen tells Mimi he can’t help with her problem. Mimi says she didn’t come for help—she just wanted to talk and share what she’s feeling. She admits she regrets her actions. Dr. Sen tells her that acknowledging her mistakes is enough and suggests she keep herself busy with work to clear her mind. Mimi apologizes for wasting his time, but he reassures her that she hasn’t. Teasing her, he asks if she’s done bothering him now. He brings up the old college incident where they exchanged medals. Mimi blushes and tells him to stop embarrassing her with that memory. Then, to her shock, he asks if they should take the next step and confesses that he loves her. Mimi is stunned and replies that she’s a bad person. But he tells her he’s a good man—and that’s exactly why he wants to marry her.
Back at home, Apu tells Bipasha to serve properly. Lalon tells Tanuja to help with serving as well. Tanuja protests, saying she cooked the food—why should she serve it too? She orders Bipasha to handle that job. Bipasha fires back, saying she already cooked and is also serving.
Later, Ketki announces that she’s looking for a groom for Priyanshi so that Vihaan and Ahaan won’t feel the need to leave. Jhanak is taken aback and reminds her that Priyanshi is still a child—what about her studies? Ketki dismisses education, saying it’s of no use, and walks away. Prachi tells Jhanak that Ketki’s word is final. She explains that Priyanshi actually wants to continue studying, and she supports that dream too, but it won’t happen now. Meher then tells Jhanak that she’s happy with her married life because her husband is wealthy—and what more could a girl possibly want?
