Jhanak On Starlife Sunday 13th July 2025 Written Episode Update
The episode begins with Bipasha telling Tanuja that she and Lal can easily shift to a new flat—unlike Tanuja, who doesn’t have that option. Tanuja reminds Bipasha of all the comfort and care she’s received in the household and questions how she can forget that so easily. Appu playfully teases them, but Anjana cuts in and offers to serve food. Lalon instantly objects, threatening to leave if Anjana does so. Tanuja and Bipasha both refuse to serve, and when Shubh offers to help, Lalon dismisses him too, complaining that the food doesn’t taste good anyway. Anirudh comments that if Anjana could cook yesterday, why can’t Tanuja do it now. Tanuja admits she’s never cooked in her life, prompting Anirudh to accuse her of taking advantage of others. Anjana tries to defuse the tension, urging him to stay calm. Displeased with the situation, Lalon says everyone should just eat together. Meanwhile, Bipasha tells Lal she’s tired of the chaos and wants to go to her mother’s house. She even suggests they get a new flat.

Lalon interrupts, saying if that’s how they feel, they should leave immediately. He questions Tanuja directly about what she plans to do, and Bipasha steps in to defend her, warning Lalon not to cross boundaries. But Lalon asserts his authority, reminding everyone that he owns most of the house and that whoever stays must follow his rules. Just then, Arshi arrives and mocks the ongoing drama. She sarcastically suggests that Anirudh hire a cook since neither Bipasha nor Tanuja can handle the kitchen. Lalon rejects the idea, insisting that no cook will work in his house. He orders those who can’t manage to leave. He pushes Arshi to take a side with Shubh and Tanuja. Shubh notes that Lalon already controls everything as it is. Lalon declares that both Tanuja and Bipasha must learn household responsibilities. When he brings up Tanuja’s family not accepting her, Tanuja lashes out, telling him to shut up. Lalon fires back, warning her not to speak to him like that in his home. Anirudh quietly watches, and Arshi gently advises him to eat well and stay healthy, reminding him that no one will take care of him if he falls ill.
Meanwhile, at Vihaan’s house, his friends suggest he settle down there and start a clinic. Akshar encourages him to consider it seriously. Vihaan confides in Akshar about his personal turmoil. The friends suggest inviting guests from Kolkata for his muh dikhai ceremony, and Vihaan agrees. He then calls Anirudh, reminiscing about their college days. Anirudh is surprised, having thought Vihaan had permanently settled in America. Vihaan shares that he’s back in India and invites Anirudh to visit his village. Anirudh declines, saying his wife is pregnant and unable to travel. Vihaan asks him to come alone if needed.
During this call, when Vihaan says Anirudh’s name, Jhanak—who overhears—gets startled and accidentally drops a utensil. Ketki scolds her for the clumsy mistake. Vihaan tries to defend Jhanak, saying she’s still learning, but Ketki scolds him, claiming Jhanak will never be on par with the other women in the house. Sejal tells Jhanak to be more careful since she’s cooking for important guests and Brahmins. Jhanak apologizes, and Prachi consoles her. Mehek suggests Jhanak take some rest before continuing with the meal.
Meanwhile, Anirudh is losing patience. He scolds Aditya for not finding Jhanak yet, voicing his fear that he may never see her again. He suspects Tejas might have something to do with her disappearance. Aditya denies any knowledge about Tejas but confirms that Kul Bhushan is somehow involved. He reassures Anirudh that the police are doing all they can. Anirudh wonders if Jhanak is even alive or simply unable to call him. Aditya speculates she might be trapped somewhere.
Back at Vihaan’s house, he tells Jhanak that he has invited his old friend Anirudh over. Hearing this, Jhanak is visibly shaken.
