Arjun excitedly tells everyone that they’ll all attend the musical event tomorrow, but Ranbir doesn’t promise anything. Simran brings up Shabnam, wondering if she’ll be there. At the mention of her name, Arjun falls quiet. Meanwhile, Chandan arrives home and confronts Mahua for refusing Guru ji. He’s upset that she dismissed someone who has selflessly nurtured Meghla’s talent. Chandan emphasizes that Guru ji never complains, yet she’s managed to hurt him deeply. Mahua, firm in her stance, insists Meghla will not attend the event. Adrija and Meghla quietly witness their heated exchange. Trying to defend Mahua, Adrija claims she said nothing to Guru ji and that the matter is being blown out of proportion. Chandan snaps at her, telling her to stay out of it. Adrija points out that Meghla is listening to everything. Meghla then steps forward, clarifying that she had told Guru ji she would go with Chandan. Chandan orders Adrija back to her room.

Elsewhere, Arjun remarks that Meghla isn’t coming to the event. Ranbir suggests he speak to Shabnam. Arjun evades the topic, and when everyone begins praising Shabnam, he admits she’s a good person—but maybe too good for him. That’s why he let her go. Arjun lightens the mood by teasing that they’ll find a bride for Ranbir next. Ranbir, however, grows quiet and says he will only marry the girl he chooses. Back at home, Chandan tries to reason with Mahua again, saying Guru ji did what he felt was best for Meghla’s future. Mahua fires back, reminding him that Guru ji is fully aware of everything they’ve been through. Their argument escalates, with Adrija silently watching it all. Meghla, overwhelmed, says she won’t go to the event. Chandan disagrees and insists she will attend, and she’ll go with Guru ji. He sends Meghla inside and warns Mahua not to poison Meghla’s mind with her bitterness. Spotting Adrija listening from the shadows, Chandan calls her out and accuses her of telling Mahua about Guru ji and Meghla’s plans. He questions why she seems so intent on ruining Meghla’s happiness. Adrija, defensive, declares that she’ll never accept Meghla as her sister. Chandan’s voice hardens. He reminds her that while he has the right to decide who is his child, he hasn’t disowned her yet. But if he ever chose to exercise that right, she wouldn’t like the outcome. He tells her both she and Meghla are his daughters, and he alone will make decisions for their lives.
At the event, Guru ji and Meghla arrive together, with Chandan and the rest of the family finding their seats. Ranbir and his family are still en route. Arjun grumbles about being late, but Harman brushes it off, saying it’s not a big deal to miss the beginning. They finally make it to the auditorium and spot Guru ji singing alongside the renowned Anurag Bose. Arjun quietly wishes he had brought Diljot along—she would’ve appreciated the event more calmly. Ranbir notices something in Arjun’s tone and asks if he’s hiding something, but Arjun deflects the question.
On stage, Guru ji begins a speech about how music can be as powerful as a storm or as gentle as a breeze. He speaks about the challenges of singing the Malhar Raag and says it takes a special voice to perform it. He then calls his student Meghla Sen to the stage. Everyone, including Ranbir and his family, turn their attention to her. Meghla walks out and freezes when she spots Ranbir in the audience.

Meghla sings beautifully on stage while Ranbir watches, stunned. He calls out to her, admitting he never imagined they’d meet again. Adrija, noticing their interaction, approaches Ranbir afterward and tells him she has something important to reveal: Meghla’s marriage has already been arranged—with someone else.
