Jhanak On Starlife Friday 18th July 2025 Written Episode Update
The episode opens with Vihaan bringing Anirudh home, leaving Jhanak stunned. She immediately pulls her veil over her face, trying to hide her identity from him. Mahek notices Jhanak’s hands trembling and asks if she’s okay, but Jhanak brushes it off, insisting she’s fine. Anirudh respectfully greets Ketki and touches her feet. Ketki expresses joy that he could attend Vihaan’s wife’s muh dikhai and casually asks about Anirudh’s own wife. Vihaan steps in, saying Anirudh’s wife is pregnant and resting. When Vihaan insists that Anirudh meet his wife, he asks Mahek to bring her. Jhanak quietly pleads with Mahek to tell them she’s busy, hoping to avoid the encounter. But Prachi, unaware of the truth, encourages her to meet Vihaan’s friend. Left with no choice, Mahek brings Jhanak to Anirudh. As she approaches, Anirudh begins to sense something familiar in her presence. Before anything unfolds further, Vihaan takes him inside.

Meanwhile, Appu and Meenu help Anjana come downstairs. Overwhelmed by the decorations, Anjana becomes emotional and thanks Lalon for remembering her birthday and giving her a bouquet, which she says is more than enough. Mimi tries to dismiss the significance of the celebration, calling birthdays common in their family. Lalon asks Laal if he did anything special for Anjana, but Laal replies bitterly that those he once cared for have become distant. Meenu gently tells Laal not to ruin the moment. Amitabh steps forward and blesses Anjana, offering her some money he had saved. Anjana modestly says it’s not necessary. She expresses how grateful she feels to be part of the family and assures everyone she has no intention of leaving. Dadi gifts her a necklace as a symbol of love, and Lalon captures the beautiful moment on camera. Anjana confesses that she never thought she’d experience such happiness in her life. Bablu praises her for always putting the family first and sacrificing her own needs. Dadi agrees, saying Anjana deserves the necklace and every bit of appreciation. Later, Jhanak quietly tells Vihaan that she had been waiting for him. He apologizes for arriving late, explaining that he didn’t want her to feel awkward. When it comes to sleeping arrangements, Vihaan offers to sleep on the sofa, insisting Jhanak should take the bed. She resists, saying she’ll sleep on the sofa instead. Vihaan gently insists, reminding her that she’s a guest and deserves some comfort. He admits she hasn’t been treated fairly and assures her that he’ll find a way to send her somewhere safe once everything settles.
Back at the celebration, Appu suggests they cut the cake, but Dadi reminds Anjana to first seek blessings from Bablu. She does so happily, and just then Arshi arrives, wishing Anjana a happy birthday. Anjana asks if she’s spoken to Anirudh, and Arshi confirms, saying everything is fine. Bipasha, however, disapproves of Arshi attending the party, suggesting that she could’ve just seen pictures and videos instead. Arshi calmly explains that she’s always been part of the family’s celebrations and didn’t want to miss Anjana’s birthday. Meenu asks Anjana to cut the cake, and the family celebrates the occasion together.
Choton praises Anjana for her lifelong sacrifices for the family, but she humbly downplays them, saying it’s simply her duty. Lalon takes the opportunity to thank Meenu for her efforts in preparing Anjana for the day, but he then sharply criticizes Bipasha for not doing anything. Bipasha defends herself, refusing to take the blame for others’ failings. The argument escalates quickly, and Lalon goes so far as to accuse Laal and Bipasha of neglecting their responsibilities. Anuradha tries to calm things down, but Lalon refuses to stay quiet, and Bipasha retaliates by blaming Shubh for Tanuja’s difficulties.
Meanwhile, away from the heated discussion, Jhanak anxiously asks Vihaan whether anyone else knows the truth about her. He reassures her that only Akshar and his wife are aware.

Anirudh finally sees Jhanak and is stunned. He stops her, demanding answers and saying she has changed her identity. But Jhanak, holding back tears, firmly replies that he no longer has the right to question her.
