Anupama On Starlife Friday 18th July 2025 Written Episode Update
The episode begins with Anupama urging Paritosh to answer an incoming call. Meanwhile, Vasundhara pulls Anupama aside and firmly tells her that she needs to take a clear stand regarding Rahi and Prem’s marriage before things spiral out of control. She also cautions Anupama to stay alert and mindful of everything happening around her. Just then, Mahi arrives and informs Anupama that Rahi is back home. Rahi, visibly disturbed, confesses that she spent the night with Prem and apologizes for it. Shocked, Anupama questions why Rahi couldn’t have chosen a more decent place—like a café or even their home—if she just wanted to speak with him. Rahi defends herself, insisting she didn’t do anything wrong or cross any limits. Meanwhile, Paritosh and Pakhi are on edge, fearing the Kothari family might call off the engagement because of the incident.

Back in the Shah household, Leela doesn’t hold back her criticism of Rahi. Mahi, curious and skeptical, wonders aloud how Rahi even managed to get inside the house with such tight security. Rahi explains that the guards recognized her, which is how she was allowed in. Anupama sighs, pointing out that regardless of the truth, society rarely gives young women the benefit of the doubt—they’ll still talk and judge harshly. Leela adds fuel to the fire by saying people will blame Rahi’s missing father and accuse Anupama of failing as a mother. This strikes a nerve, and Anupama finally loses her patience with Rahi. But both Prem and Rahi immediately apologize, trying to pacify her. Anupama sternly tells them they must be more careful from now on. Prem, shaken, wonders aloud how Baa found out about Rahi’s visit. Radha tries to calm him, but he admits he has no idea how to ease Anupama’s distress. Radha herself feels just as helpless. Meanwhile, Paritosh and Ansh try to comfort Prem, treating him delicately, which only frustrates him more. He snaps at them, saying he doesn’t want to be treated like an outsider or like he’s some delicate Kothari. At the same time, Radha mistakenly calls Prathana, and as a result, Parag learns that Prem is being made to do household chores at Anupama’s house like some sort of servant. This only fuels Parag’s anger further, and Gautam adds more to his rage by egging him on.
Back at home, Anupama, Leela, and Hasmuk suggest that perhaps the best course of action is to go ahead with Rahi and Prem’s wedding. Vasundhara is surprised by this sudden change in Anupama’s stance and questions her decision. Leela argues that a prompt wedding will prevent any further controversies like the previous night. But Parag refuses to agree. He says Rahi may be ready, but Prem clearly isn’t, and he urges Anupama to back away from the proposal entirely.
Rahi starts to panic about how the Kotharis might react now. Sensing her unease, Ansh gently asks whether she’s marrying Prem just to reunite him with his family. Rahi assures him that’s not the case—she truly wants to marry Prem and is ready to shoulder the responsibilities that come with being a Kothari daughter-in-law.
Parag then directly confronts Anupama, demanding to know what changed overnight that led her to support the marriage all of a sudden. Before Anupama can say much, Prem speaks up. He states clearly that he’s ready to marry Rahi and support her through everything. He turns to Baa, asking her to accept their union. After a pause, Baa agrees, but not without a warning—becoming part of the Kothari family isn’t going to be easy. Anupama supports Baa’s words and tells Rahi that the path ahead will be full of challenges.
Anupama then turns to the Kothari family, asking them to give Rahi a chance. Khyati kindly assures her that Rahi will be treated like a daughter. Later, Anupama performs a small ritual with Prem, solidifying her acceptance of the relationship. However, Parag is still fuming. He confronts Baa, upset that she made this decision without involving him. But Baa stands her ground. She tells Parag to open his heart and accept Rahi for Prem’s sake. Parag doesn’t budge. He insists that Rahi lacks the manners to be part of their family, but Baa remains firm, saying she raised Khyati and Neeta well, and she can do the same for Rahi.

Prem enjoys a casual moment with the Shah family, eating panipuri from a street vendor and laughing along. But Parag, still bitter, spots him later washing dishes and angrily questions Anupama about it, clearly unable to accept Prem’s humble behavior in her household.
