The episode opens with Nandini excitedly telling Anjali that, for the first time since the wedding, the entire family will sit down together for a meal. She asks Anjali to make sure she’s on time. Meanwhile, Raghav confronts Anjali, insisting she cannot take on a particular legal case. Anjali calmly responds that she already has. Raghav becomes furious and threatens that if she doesn’t back out, he’ll sever her ties with the Rajput family. Anjali stands her ground, and Raghav storms off.Later, Pankaj questions Anjali about her decision, concerned since the case is against Raghav Singh Rajput. Anjali chooses not to reveal the truth to him. Instead, she tells Pankaj she has to leave for an urgent duty. When he asks if it’s her responsibility as a daughter-in-law, Anjali clarifies it’s her duty as a sister—to protect her sister’s marriage.

At the Rajput home, Raghav joins his family at the dining table. The women gossip about Anjali’s absence from both the family lunch and the first-night ritual. They imply that nothing happened between Anjali and Raghav, even noting the untouched bed. Gaurav interrupts, asking them to stop speculating. Raghav then shocks everyone by revealing that Anjali went to the police station to pursue a case—against him. He instructs Aman to convince Anjali to drop it, warning that otherwise he’ll never accept their relationship. Anjali eventually arrives, still in her advocate attire, which draws more snide remarks from the Rajput women. Raghav demands she drop the case against Prakash, asserting that as the family’s daughter-in-law, she must obey. Gaurav defends Anjali, reminding everyone that she’s a lawyer in her own right and her professional identity should be respected.
Raghav then declares that the matter will be resolved at the dining table and calls in Prakash. Anjali is stunned by his presence. Prakash explains that Raghav summoned him to settle the case and proceeds to offer her ₹50 lakhs to withdraw it. The Rajput family urges her to take the money, seeing it as a generous deal. Outraged, Anjali slaps Prakash and refuses the bribe. She then calls Pankaj and files an official complaint, stating that Prakash attempted to bribe her. Humiliated, Prakash warns Anjali and leaves in anger.
Afterward, Kavya visits the Rajput house and confronts Anjali, questioning her about her marriage with Aman.
