The episode begins with Adrija meeting Ranbir’s grandparents for the first time. Chandan introduces Meghla to them as well, and she greets them with folded hands. Balveer is overjoyed and says he had been waiting for this day. Simran warmly compliments Adrija, while Nimrit notes that it’s an important day for her. When Kamal asks Meghla to sing a song, Mahua quickly intervenes, saying Meghla is unwell. Meher checks on her, and Meghla quietly explains she’s feeling weak. Mahua adds that she hasn’t been eating properly. Balveer gently advises Meghla to take care of her health and eat properly. Arjun comments on Meghla’s simplicity, and Simran sarcastically remarks that America seems to be her weakness, suggesting there’s no point discussing it further. She then asks Nimrit to bring Ranbir. Ranbir enters with Harman, and both Meghla and Adrija look at him—tension fills the room. The song Bedardeya plays in the background, echoing the emotional undercurrents.

Mahua proposes that they begin the ritual, but Zoravar responds with a sharp remark about rushing. Chandan questions his tone, pointing out that they had been invited for the alliance. The conversation escalates, leading to a heated argument between Chandan and Zoravar. Trying to lighten the mood, Ranbir’s grandfather asks Adrija if she’d like to be involved in their family business. Adrija enthusiastically agrees, saying she would love that. Dadi chimes in, suggesting she should first focus on spending time with Ranbir. Adrija smiles, nodding in agreement. Suddenly, Ranbir announces that he wants to say something to Meghla in front of everyone. He confronts her about giving him repeated missed calls. Meghla looks confused and denies ever calling him. Ranbir accuses her of lying, pointing to his phone records as proof. Adrija is just as surprised and says they had no clue about any of this. Despite Meghla’s repeated insistence that she never made those calls, Simran questions her credibility. Ranbir lashes out again, asking Adrija not to interfere.
Mahua steps in and calmly says she has the right to speak to Meghla. She turns to her and asks why she’s trying to humiliate the family like this. Meghla, now in tears, insists she’s telling the truth and has no reason to lie. Chandan urges her to be honest, but she breaks down and says she genuinely didn’t call Ranbir—there’s no reason she would. Mahua, still skeptical, scolds her again. Meghla pleads that she has nothing to hide and had no reason to call Ranbir in the first place.
