
Saras And Kumud On Starlife Sunday 27th July 2025 Written Episode Update
The episode opens with Guniyal firmly telling Kumud that she must understand her responsibilities as a wife. She insists that Kumud has to go with Saras to Mumbai, and that their decision is final. Feeling the weight of the moment, Kumud quietly walks away. Later, Saras enters his room and looks at his packed bag. Kumud follows him in, and he gently reminds her that she has always stood by him whenever he needed support. He acknowledges that she doesn’t want to leave Ratnagiri, but this deal is very important for both their families. He says he can’t complete it alone and needs her by his side. Kumud starts to cry, and Saras tenderly wipes her tears away. He asks if she will come with him to Mumbai. She smiles and nods, and he hugs her joyfully as the song “O Piya” plays softly in the background.

Saras promises they will return in six months and urges her to start packing soon. Together, they begin folding her clothes. As Kumud leaves the room, Saras wonders what’s really going on inside her heart. Meanwhile, Vidyachatur shares the news with Badimaa. Kumud spots her and happily embraces her, asking how things were at the ashram. Badimaa replies that it’s good, and encourages Kumud to go with Saras to Mumbai. She even brings fresh mangoes as a gift and invites Kumud to join her in the kitchen to cut them.
Once in the kitchen, Badimaa asks if Kumud has finished packing yet. Kumud says she hasn’t. Badimaa tells her to pack everything quickly, reminding her that Mumbai isn’t far now. While cutting the mangoes, Badimaa accidentally cuts her finger, causing Kumud to worry and rush for medicine. Kumud scolds her gently, saying she doesn’t know what she’ll do once Kumud leaves since Badimaa doesn’t take care of herself. Badimaa smiles and says she will learn to take care of herself after Kumud leaves. She reminds Kumud that Saras and she are responsible for each other and urges her to focus on packing without upsetting Saras. Kumud nods and wishes Badimaa well.
Back at home, Danny gathers everyone to discuss how to finally get Kabir to agree to marriage. Kabir overhears their plan and quietly tries to slip away, but Danny calls out to him. Kabir hesitates but then joins the group, sitting down with them and sharing some mangoes. Laxminandan gives Vidyachatur a knowing look. Vidyachatur gently encourages Kabir to meet the girl they have in mind, assuring him that if he doesn’t like her, there’s no pressure. Kabir admits he’s not ready for marriage and worries about meeting someone. Vidyachatur tries to ease his fears, saying that marriage is about becoming one with your partner. Kabir confesses he’s seen complicated relationships in this house and feels unprepared. Laxminandan reminds him that marriage unites families and promises no one will force him, but hopes Kabir will come to appreciate the bond. Guniyal adds that he can marry whenever he feels ready. Kabir smiles gratefully.
They all laugh when Vidyachatur jokes about letting fate decide whom Lord has chosen for Kabir. Meanwhile, Saras notices the mangoes in his room and realizes Badimaa has returned from the ashram. Kumud confirms this, and Saras says he wants to see her. When Kumud asks if he understands that she doesn’t want to go to Mumbai, he gently says yes, knowing she can’t bear to be far from her family. She bursts into tears and hugs him. Kumud explains that when she previously left her family, problems always followed, and she fears what might happen if they leave again. Saras reassures her that nothing will go wrong.
Suddenly, Kusum arrives with news that the school’s peon reported many children fell ill after lunch, and parents are angry. Kumud and Saras grow worried. Badimaa questions how this could happen since the school is normally so clean. Kusum says the principal has called them to the school. Saras greets Badimaa warmly and says they’ll head there immediately. At the school, they’re shocked to see many children crying and suffering. Kumud comforts a frightened child who refuses to take an injection, gently distracting him until he agrees.
The media arrives, questioning the principal about the outbreak. Kumud asks them to wait and focus on helping the kids first. The reporters warn that the children’s condition is serious. Saras urges the doctor to examine the children promptly. Parents grow angry at the principal, demanding answers. Kumud asks the principal how this happened, but he insists he doesn’t know. She assures him they will find a solution.
Saras inspects the food served at lunch and notes it looks fine. The cook insists he prepared it carefully and is innocent. Saras tells him that if he did nothing wrong, he needn’t worry. Suddenly, Mr. Ashok from the health department arrives to investigate and speaks with the principal. Ashok orders the food samples sent for testing and says action will be taken once results come in. Saras tells the principal not to stress, and Kumud agrees they will wait for the reports.
Back at the Desai house, everyone watches the news updates anxiously. Vidyachatur wonders how such a thing could happen since the children eat that food daily. Saras and Kumud return home relieved that the kids are recovering but puzzled how the media and health officials arrived so quickly. Kumud worries the parents may refuse to send their children back to school. Badimaa tells them not to worry and encourages them to freshen up and eat. Suddenly, Kusum receives a call from her friend Anushka, who says she’s coming to Ratnagiri and will be staying at their house. Everyone looks surprised as Kusum shares this news.
