Anupama On Starlife Sunday 27th July 2025 Written Episode Update
The episode begins with Moti Baa insisting that Hasmukh wash Prem’s feet as part of the pre-wedding ritual since Rahi’s father isn’t present. The Shahs are taken aback by the unexpected request. Hasmukh, trying to make sense of it, turns to Khyati, who gently explains that Moti Baa only made this decision today. She apologizes for the sudden change, but Anupama calmly reassures her that there’s no need for apologies. Khyati then adds that Baa wants to begin the ceremony with a prayer. When Rahi offers to bring her family to the prayer, Khyati stops her, saying that Baa believes it’s unlucky for the bride and groom to meet before the wedding. Leela, trying to understand the rules, asks if Rahi will at least get to be with Prem on the wedding day, but before any tensions rise, Anupama steps in to keep the situation under control. Meanwhile, Hasmukh begins preparing the wedding items to take to the Kothari house.

Rahi can’t hide her disappointment, and Ansh lightheartedly teases her to lift her mood. To help her feel better, Radha video calls her from the Kothari home, hoping it’ll help her feel more involved. On the other hand, Prem is busy choosing his outfit and, in passing, says he would’ve preferred a court wedding. Moti Baa, overhearing this, reminds him firmly that while he may have chosen his bride, their family’s traditions will dictate the wedding. As the Shahs arrive at the Kothari mansion, Moti Baa warmly greets them, appreciating their presence. But the warm welcome quickly turns cold when Jhanki greets Anupama. Moti Baa sternly tells her that staff should use the back door. Anupama responds firmly, making it clear that Jhanki is part of the family, not staff. Meanwhile, Prem looks around for Rahi, and Anupama informs him she won’t be attending the prayer. Frustrated, he grumbles that had he known earlier, he would’ve avoided holding the event at the Kothari home altogether. Parag compliments Prem, and Khyati, lightening the mood, says he looks just as handsome as Parag did in his youth.
Rahi, missing Prem, lights up when Radha’s video call allows her a glimpse of him. But the moment is short-lived as Moti Baa gathers everyone’s phones, cutting off communication. When it’s time for the ritual, Moti Baa asks Hasmukh to wash Prem’s feet in Rahi’s father’s absence. Prem is uncomfortable and refuses to let him do it. Moti Baa insists on sticking to tradition, but Anupama calls out the hypocrisy, pointing out how the Kotharis twist rituals when it suits them. Parag argues that the bride’s mother shouldn’t carry out the rituals without her husband, but Ansh steps in to defend Rahi’s honor and offers to perform the ritual as her brother. The priest agrees, and Ansh completes the ceremony with grace and quiet strength.
Later, Moti Baa notices a staff member dressed in black and scolds her, saying black is inauspicious. Rahi, watching all this, becomes extremely worried because she knows Prem has chosen to wear black. Only Hasmukh and Prem are aware of this, but Anupama and Ansh also come to know and grow anxious about how Moti Baa will react.
When the priest asks for Prem’s mother to perform the next ritual, Moti Baa instructs Meeta to carry it out. However, Prem insists that Gayatri, too, must be part of it, and he brings out her photo, quietly honoring her presence. Meanwhile, Badshah and Radha are seen playing hide-and-seek. Radha finds Prem and tells him that Rahi has been watching everything through the video call. This news brings a wide smile to Prem’s face, momentarily lifting the heavy atmosphere.

Suddenly, Rahi spots Badshah hiding inside a truck and, alarmed, rushes to the Kothari mansion to save him.
