Jhanak On Starlife Monday 28th July 2025 Written Episode Update
The episode opens with Arshi asking Aniruddh about his time with Vihaan’s family. She’s particularly curious about Vihaan’s wife and wants details, but Aniruddh seems hesitant. When she asks to see the pictures he took with Vihaan and his wife, he admits he didn’t take any. Arshi teases that she just wanted to compare herself with Vihaan’s wife to see who’s more beautiful. Aniruddh gently scolds her, wondering when she started worrying about such things. He reminds her that she’s beautiful, talented, and doesn’t need to compare herself to anyone. Still, she insists she’s just curious about what Vihaan’s wife looks like and whether she’s friendly. He tells her that they barely spoke. She then brings up Vihaan’s son, Ahaan, and asks more about him. Aniruddh mentions that Vihaan’s family invited them to Ahaan’s birthday party. Arshi says she’s willing to go if her health allows it. He suggests they wait for her medical reports before deciding. She then shifts the conversation to Choton’s marriage prospects, but Aniruddh says he’s more concerned about her health right now. When she asks for Vihaan’s wife’s name, he tells her it’s Avni. He also shares some details about what Ketki’s daughters-in-law do in the household. Arshi is amused and surprised to hear that a woman who seemed so reserved is actively involved in the family. She expresses a desire to visit the village herself next time.

Meanwhile, Meenu anxiously calls the doctor to talk about her father’s deteriorating condition. The doctor urges her to bring him to the hospital immediately and ends the call. Meenu is left feeling helpless. She doesn’t want to call Choton, so when Anjana calls, she opens up about her father’s health. Anjana assures her she’ll inform Choton. Elsewhere, Jhanak confides in Vihaan about how worried she is for Priyanshi’s future. She explains that because she has gone through so much as a woman, she understands Priyanshi’s emotions deeply. Vihaan listens but says that in his household, no one dares to stand up to Ketki. He appreciates everything Jhanak is doing for Priyanshi, but says he can’t confront Ketki himself. Jhanak reminds him that since she isn’t part of their family, she can take a stand. However, she adds that it’s Vihaan’s duty to support Priyanshi too. He says he needs some time; Ketki has only just forgiven him, and he doesn’t want to go against her so soon. He admits he feels terrible about how Ketki treats Jhanak but feels powerless. Jhanak tells him not to worry about her; she has a place to stay for now and will eventually leave. Vihaan says he knows he has no right to stop her but secretly admits to himself that he’s beginning to feel something for her. He promises that when the time comes, he’ll make sure she reaches a safe place.
Soon, Anjana and Choton arrive at Meenu’s house with the doctor. The doctor examines Meenu’s father and assures her that there’s nothing to worry about. Anjana urges Meenu to inform her relatives about the situation. Meenu’s father insists he’s fine and asks Meenu to pay the doctor. When Choton offers to do it, her father refuses, saying he doesn’t want to owe him anything. The doctor says he doesn’t need any fees, but praises Meenu for being a kind and responsible daughter. He even says that if she marries someone like Choton, her future would be secure. After the doctor leaves, Choton offers to get the medicine. Meenu’s father curtly says he didn’t ask for help. Anjana, frustrated, reminds him they came only to support, not to be insulted.
Back in the village, Jhanak tells Vihaan that Priyanshi simply wants to perform at her school’s dance event. Vihaan is reluctant, reminding her that the groom’s family is visiting that same day to see Priyanshi. Jhanak explains that the dance is scheduled for the morning while the guests will come in the evening. She plans to take Priyanshi to school without anyone knowing. Vihaan agrees to help her and offers to drop them off. Jhanak thanks him sincerely for the support.
Later, Aniruddh calls Vihaan and updates him on Arshi’s health condition. He asks Vihaan to look over her reports. Vihaan says if needed, he and his wife will come to Kolkata. Jhanak overhears the conversation and wonders when her own tests will finally end. Vihaan hands the phone to Jhanak, and she speaks kindly to Aniruddh, telling him that Vihaan is an excellent doctor and he should trust him with Arshi’s reports.
At Meenu’s home, Choton advises her father to rest and take his medicine. He steps aside with Meenu and tells her to take her father for morning walks. Meenu says he never listens to her. Choton says he’ll take her father himself. As he leaves, Vihaan watches Jhanak in admiration, thinking that perhaps one day, her strength might give him the courage to stand up to Ketki.

Jhanak teaches dance steps to Priyanshi, but their moment is interrupted when Ketki sees Jhanak dancing. Furious, Ketki scolds her harshly.
