Mukta is in the middle of teaching her students when, in another part of the house, Mohit suddenly feels a sharp pain in his chest. He clutches at his heart, trying to hold back the intensity of the pain. Despite the growing discomfort, he keeps reminding himself that he must remain strong—for the sake of his family. He doesn’t want anyone to worry. Elsewhere, Teju is singing a soulful tune alongside Mukta, her voice filling the air with warmth. As Mohit watches the two women, his thoughts drift toward Teju’s future. He becomes deeply troubled by the fact that she hasn’t settled down yet. His mind wanders further, and memories of Aditi resurface, pulling at emotions he’s tried to keep buried. In a moment of vulnerability, he accidentally drops a family photograph. His eyes linger on it, filling with tears as he reflects on everything he’s holding inside.
Meanwhile, Sammy is growing suspicious about Teju’s relationship with Rituraj. He questions her, wanting to understand what’s really going on. Teju tells him she hasn’t been in touch with Rituraj lately, since he’s been caught up in his television shows. Sammy presses further, asking if Rituraj has ever spoken to her about marriage. Teju is momentarily stunned—she admits they’ve never had that conversation. Curious about Sammy’s sudden interest, she asks him why he’s being so protective. Sammy, sensing something off, warns her not to blindly trust someone like Rituraj. He says people like him are good at pretending. Teju disagrees, firmly standing by Rituraj, saying he’s not like that at all. To ease the heavy atmosphere, Mukta intervenes. She gently urges Teju to sing Mohit’s favorite song, hoping it might lift his spirits. Teju agrees, and as she begins to sing, she pours her heart into every word.

As Mohit listens, his eyes land on the idol of Shiv and Parvati, and he recalls Teju once saying that a hotel waiter had gifted it to her and Neil. A realization hits him. If Neil were to marry Tejaswini, he would no longer need to worry about her future. Acting on this thought, Mohit picks up his phone and calls Neil. He gets straight to the point, asking whether Neil’s family is currently searching for a bride. When Neil says yes, Mohit boldly asks if he would consider marrying Teju. After a brief moment of silence, Neil agrees, saying he will talk to his parents.
As Teju’s voice continues to echo through the house, Mohit tries to call out to his family, but no one hears him. His condition worsens, and in desperation, he calls Aditi. She picks up and asks about his health, but Mohit is unable to speak because of the unbearable pain. Aditi, misunderstanding the silence, assumes he’s calling to inform her he’s about to arrive and ends the call casually, unaware of the emergency.
Realizing time is slipping away, Mohit folds his hands and silently prays—pleading to God for the well-being of his family. With one final, agonizing breath, he collapses.
A few moments later, Teju walks over to him, still humming the last note of the song. She tries to get his attention, gently calling his name. When he doesn’t respond, a chill runs through her. She shakes him harder, her voice now panicked, but still there’s no reaction. Fear overtakes her as she realizes something is terribly wrong. Without wasting another second, Teju rushes to alert the rest of the family.
