Advocate Anjali Awasthi 2nd August 2025 Written Update Starlife
The episode opens with Pankaj calling Anjali to check in. He politely asks if he’s disturbing her, but Anjali reassures him that he’s not. Curious, she wonders why he even felt the need to ask. Pankaj then brings up that he heard she’s busy celebrating Makar Sankranti with the Rajput family and playfully teases her about forgetting the way to court. Anjali, still calm, replies that she hasn’t forgotten anything and cuts to the point—why has he called? Pankaj becomes serious and tells her that Prakash is currently celebrating his girlfriend’s birthday at a poolside restaurant. He adds a crucial piece of information: Deepika, Prakash’s current partner, is complicit in Shivani Tripathi’s murder. Pankaj reminds Anjali of something disturbing—when Shivani died, Prakash didn’t even come forward to claim her body. It was Brijesh who ended up performing her final rites. He emphasizes that Anjali is the only person who can truly fight for justice—for women like Shivani and Padma. Anjali, clearly shaken but resolute, listens and acknowledges the weight of the situation.

At the poolside restaurant, Prakash is seen cheerfully wishing Deepika a happy birthday. The celebration is in full swing when Anjali suddenly shows up, bringing everything to a halt. Her arrival is sharp and commanding. Without hesitation, she confronts Prakash in front of everyone, asking how he has the audacity to celebrate after killing his wife. Deepika, clearly startled, demands to know who Anjali is. Anjali responds firmly, saying Deepika might not recognize her, but Prakash definitely should. She then signals Brijesh, who steps forward carrying Shivani’s ashes. Anjali addresses the crowd, telling them that after Shivani’s death, Prakash didn’t even have the decency to collect her body. It was Brijesh who took responsibility and performed her cremation. She publicly calls Prakash a murderer. He tries to defend himself, saying she has no right to accuse him until it’s proven in court. But Anjali doesn’t back down. She declares that she will expose him in court and that she has all the evidence she needs.
Feeling the pressure, Prakash tries to argue, but Anjali cuts him off coldly. She recounts how Shivani was dying and crying for help, while he was in a hotel room with Deepika. She accuses him of romancing Deepika while Shivani suffered, and reveals she has the hotel booking as proof. With a final jab, she instructs Brijesh to slap Prakash—an act meant to restore some of Shivani’s dignity. Brijesh obeys without hesitation. Furious, Prakash tries to retaliate, but Anjali warns him not to dare. Later that night, a furious Prakash calls Raghav and complains bitterly. He tells him how Anjali insulted him in front of his girlfriend and how Brijesh slapped him. His rage turns threatening—he vows that if Anjali appears in court, she’ll face serious consequences. Raghav assures him confidently that Anjali won’t even make it to the courtroom.
Meanwhile, Anjali returns home where Ganesh questions her whereabouts. He mentions she was neither at the Rajput home nor their own, clearly displeased. He scolds her for ignoring her duties as a daughter-in-law. But Anjali stands her ground. She reminds him that he’s the one who taught her to always fight for what’s right. She explains how she found Prakash celebrating with Deepika right after murdering Shivani, and says she’s determined to seek justice for Shivani in court tomorrow.
Before Anjali can continue, Sapna steps in and declares that Anjali will not be going to court. Anjali firmly says she will. The conversation turns heated, and Sapna, overcome with anger, slaps Anjali. She scolds her harshly, reminding her that she married Aman without the family’s consent and now must obey the house rules.
