Neil is shocked to learn of Mohit’s heart attack, especially since he had spoken to him just the previous evening. He questions Teju about how such a thing could have happened so suddenly. When Teju asks what Mohit had said during their conversation, Neil tells her he will explain everything at the right time, and she agrees. Neil then says he’s coming over immediately. Teju is surprised he’s traveling all the way from Nagpur, but Neil confirms it. He also asks about Vedaant, worried about how he’s handling the situation. Teju tells him that Vedaant has been crying constantly. Neil asks to speak with him, and when Vedaant comes on the phone, Neil gently encourages him to stay strong and reminds him of his responsibility to support the family. Vedaant listens quietly and agrees. Meanwhile, Mohit’s father, noticing Teju’s call, asks who she was speaking to. Teju replies that it was someone very close to Mohit.

Elsewhere, Leena is admiring some jewelry when Vinod enters and insists they must tell the girl the truth about Neil. Leena is confused and asks what he means. Before he can explain, Neil arrives at the door and knocks. Just then, Prachi approaches Neil and asks him to choose a photo for their album. He looks at one with his parents and seems lost in thought.
Back inside, Vinod finally tells Leena that it’s time to reveal that Neil is not their biological son. Leena flatly refuses to let the truth come out. Vinod questions what they’ll do if Neil’s future wife finds out after the wedding. Leena responds coldly, saying if the truth still matters after marriage, it will be unfortunate for the girl. Vinod reminds her of their earlier decision to tell Neil the truth when the time was right, but she always stopped him. Leena stands firm, saying she will never reveal it and forces Vinod to swear he won’t either. Though reluctant, Vinod promises not to say anything without her consent, acknowledging that the truth belongs to both of them. Leena is satisfied with his vow. Meanwhile, Neil arrives, ready to have a serious conversation with Leena.
